I have never felt so unwanted in a store before. I asked a lady if they had upholstery dust covers. She immediately went back to what she was doing and responded very dismissively. I finally got an answer that they were definitely sold by the yard in the back of the store. After wandering through the section she pointed out for 15 minutes without finding it, I approached her again. She looked confused about what I wanted and shouted over to another person who just kept working and said, «Check out the muslin, that should work.» I had to ask where that was. I went to the front of the store to find that muslin definitely wouldn’t work. I couldn’t leave fast enough. The feeling they put off was very unpleasant and I didn’t come close to finding what I needed. I just went home and ordered the closest thing I could find on Amazon. I downloaded Unilocal just so I could express how much I disliked that store.

Terrible store with terrible customer service.
I have an egift card that clearly states it is issued by Joann Fabric and can be used online or in store. In the written fine print it states it may be redeemed «online or in any Joann fabric store». They cite a corporate memo from Jan 5. Their facebook page says they accept scarfs in store or online. They will not honor it. Twice spoke to managers and called corporate. They response. Too bad. We won’t give you your money back or honor the gift cards. Do not shop here.
They are here to screw the customer out of their money. There are $ 2 billion in unclaimed gift cards annually in the US because companies like Joann refuse to allow customers to use them.

This is the absolute worst location for customer service. Very moody employees and very very slow. There is never enough staff to deal with the number of customers. It has gotten so bad that I will drive the half hour to Everett or Bellingham just to avoid this store.

Everyone is so nice and helpful ! Make sure to check the app or online for coupons, most of the time you will find a 40% off coupon !

I’ve only been here a few times, but each time the staff were very helpful and there was a great selection of fabrics to choose from. They always have coupons or online coupons that make shopping here quite a deal! My last visit, I only had 1 coupon on my phone, and the cashier was so nice and told me to go grab the coupon flyer they have available at the front doors. She scanned all the coupons inside for me, and it took off roughly $ 40 off my total! That literally made my day, and I had such a great day because of how kind this woman was and that I was able to save some money. which I ended up spending there the next day on more fabric! The other time I was there, they were training new hires. I totally understand what it’s like to be new at a job, and even though there was a little mix up at the register, the new hires were really nice and funny and it was no problem for me at all. Really great selection of fabric and craft supplies. Even though there really aren’t many other options for fabric and craft stores, I still like coming here because I know they have what I’m looking for!

I was excited when JoAnn opened a clean, larger store in MV. They made the store bigger, but seem to have cut staff. So prepare to wait in line (a long time) both to have fabric cut, and to check out. Yesterday I had been waiting about 20 minutes to have fabric cut, and I asked the woman cutting if there was anyone else that could help, since there were several people waiting. The cutter was super rude to me and refused to call anyone else to help, then MADE FUN OF ME to another customer while I was standing right there! I guess she thought it was unreasonable of me to ask for decent customer service.
Also, their prices on most items are RIDICULOUS, and you can find lower prices elsewhere.

The Jo Ann store is expanding into the space next to it. As a crafter I’m super excited about this.
The store was super clean and organized even though they were having a huge sale to downsize in preparation for their expansion.
The ladies that work here were super helpful.
