3 stars for the décor, as pic shows, quite clinical and old, their Bellingham’s better action.
And this place seriously has real deals. Everywhere i turned, my neck was hurting, esp. the Epson & HP e-​printers but i recall one type has network requirements where it’s automated printing but I digress. More on Andrew.
A superstar: every question, he either answered or didn’t know but would find out: no bs’ing.
quite helpful too: was really contemplating this desk/​hutch phenomenal deal, reg. $ 600, on sale til Dec. 6 for $ 330 and was worried about the dimensions, whether I could cram this in SUV even with seats down… he got the measurements, added all up and lent me a measuring tape to check out the space… sadly, wasn’t able to bring her over the border ;(
it’s amazing as to when you get older, how these things excite you more than clothes or electronics lol.

It’s rare that a national chain would get 5 stars from me but this location has excellent management on staff.
I previously went to the Marysville store and had to come here to get the remainder of what I needed.
The manager dealt with me personally, got me everything in stock of what I needed and wanted to make very sure that I was happy with my shopping experience.
They still came up short (that’s what happens when you want 50 of the same binder) but they sent me to the next store in Bellingham, complete with printed map and directions.
Definitely come here, especially if you have any unusual requests.

I almost never give five stars but the Mount Vernon Washington Office Depot totally impressed me. First of all I do not normally shop at Office Depot because I live much closer to Office Max. I have shopped at Office Max for years. However, I wanted to order three high quality Hon four drawer file cabinets and after spending about ten hours online, I chose to order them locally, even at greater cost, from either Office Depot or Office Max. My reasoning was that by buying locally I would be able to inspect the cabinets for damage before taking delivery. It is all too common for file cabinets to be damaged during shipping. Picking them up locally would also allow me to pick them up at the store to help avoid the chance of shipping damage to my residence. I wanted to be able to see the unboxed cabinets before taking delivery.
Well, it’s a long story but after talking with Office Max and getting nowhere, I ordered them instead from Office Depot and I was amazed. At every purchase stage, the people at Office Depot listened and responded to my needs. Office Depot provided fast delivery, deboxing and inspecting the (non stocked) cabinets, excellent phone communications, politeness and professionalism, acting in behalf of the customer and going beyond expected service levels.
I can’t even explain the high quality customer service I received, it is so unusual. If I had to guess, I would say there is something special about the business culture or managment of the Mt Vernon Office Depot that not only sets it apart from other office supply stores but most other businesses I have used in the last few years. Thank you for the great service.
