I really really enjoy the wine from Pasek I was getting from QFC and made a point to get out to the tasting room to try the flavors I couldn’t find locally. While small, they do make you feel welcome and each person is given 5 free 1oz tastes.

Really wonderful visit last Friday. The tasting was fun and taking home a bottle of the Loganberry wine made the visit even more fruitful(haha). There is a lot of options for the tasting, but I have to recommend the Loganberry, the port, and the coffee wine. Definitely go for it!

This is one of my favorite places to go when I am headed south ! When you drive up to the tasting room it may look like a little hole in the wall but don’t let that stop you! Once inside you will find a gorgeous little area set up with many wine themed items for purchase, and a list of all of their fruit wines. Make sure to try all the wines free of charge! I enjoy so many but my favorite at this time is cranberry. If you buy a case you get 15 percent off!

I first stumbled upon this place during a trip to see the tulips and I have returned here many times since. The tasting room is conveniently located right off I-5, so it is an easy stop to/from a trip to BC, Deception pass, and the Tulip festival! In the 4−5x I’ve been here — during peak season and off season, each time the people serving the wine are very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with people like me who ask questions and want to taste everything on the list. Best of all, the tastes of everything are free, though I have never walked away empty handed. Some of my favorites: Passion fruit wine Loganberry Wine Black berry wine Late Harvest Voignier Most bottles were $ 10 – 12. Yes I have a sweet tooth, and can drink some of these like candy … oops. but for those who don’t like things too sweet, these may not work for you. one fun thing: The dessert wines — there is a coffee one and a few fruit based ones — but they can even be poured over ice cream. :)

To be honest I am not normally compelled to write a review on a business unless it is either phenomenal or awful. Unfortunately this was an AWFUL belittling experience. The place was empty which was no problem. We walked in and saw a sign that stated 16 complimentary tastings which covers all of the menu. Not that we would have tried everything. but the server proceeded to tell us there were no set rules but she would«let» us have 5 or so each since we had a driver(which is none of her concern considering we’re 4 grown women) because she didn’t want us to «pass out» in our vehicle on the drive back to Seattle. Slightly off-putting but we continued anyway. She started a pleasant conversation with us nevertheless. We all actually shared a few samples and then ordered a glass. I chose one of the dessert wines(16%) as opposed to one of the grape wines(11%). The server then proceeded to tell me I could have ½ the amount due to the alcohol level. same price of course. How completely condescending?! I should have been done then but took it anyway. I decided I wanted a second while we sat and chatted and told her I’d prefer the regular size serving. She let me know she’d NEVER had somebody come back for a 2nd glass of wine. I couldn’t believe my ears at that. Then she proceeded to tell me she could have her«server’s license» taken away. LADY. WHODOYOUTHINKYOUARE? You served me 2.5 oz! Am I getting 86’d from a wine room after 15 minutes??? Lol. Pretty sure I am. Needless to say we left upset and will never be back. It was like she was making up her own rules as she went along??? I can only hope the owner sees this and deals with it properly. The server overstepped her boundaries in a major way. insulted us all and essentially took money out of the owners pocket. What a shame because the wine was different and a nice stop on or way back from the Tulip Festival.

I am visiting my family from San Diego and stopped in here with my mom on the way back home from the Tulip festival. The wine was absolutely incredible we ended up buying 7 bottles! The fruit wines were incredible and actually made 100% from the type of fruit they are instead of from grapes. The two women working there were so sweet and so nice and incredibly friendly. The wines average $ 12 a bottle and are extremely affordable! I would recommend this winery to all of my friends and family and we will definitely be going back!

A spontaneous stop from Vancouver, Canada to Seattle. We tried some wines and unique ones made with other fruit than just grapes. I found them to be quite sweet but Christine Z. enjoyed them. Our hostess was incredibly friendly and helpful. I ended up buying a bottle for my girlfriend, some snacks and two of the towels in my picture. One for me, one for her. «Drink Up B*tches* kind of sums it up. The store was full of all things wine from wine stoppers, carriers, picnic items and of course wine, cheese and salami. Taste at the counter, or there are few tables in the store. Can’t say I’ve ever wine tasted in Washington before. Now I can say that I have.

Love Pasek Cellars wines! And loved the tasting room experience I had. Got to taste over six kinds of great fruit and dessert wines, along with a Chardonnay that is now my favorite and a dry red wine which I really liked though I usually shy away from dry wines. Ended up purchasing five bottles of wine as they are all reasonably priced(most are $ 10). I liked how their fruit wines are made of 100% fruit. There is also a shop at the tasting room with coasters with fun quotes, cheese accessories, wine accessories, etc. Lady who helped us was friendly and helpful. Located right off the exit from I-5 so stop by next time!

Pasek Cellars was on our list as soon as we saw they were THE winery of the Tulip Festival & even offered special Tulip-labeled wines… we’re such suckers for marketing! Surprised by the vast number of wines included in their tastings & knowing we had a 1.5 — 2 hr drive to SEA, we picked out those we were only truly interested in…& those started w/the Tulip Festival wines The Tulip Red wasn’t to our taste at all — we prefer a more full-bodied, robust flavor. This was pretty thin & had a bitter aftertaste The Cranberry wine(their top seller) was all kinds of nasty. Tasted like cough syrup. Same for the Blueberry, Pineapple, & Coffee(yes! coffee-flavored wine!) We were hoping for a light, fruity wine or at least an intense port flavor — but these wines went straight for the cough syrup… nice job! What did float our boats however, was their Chardonnay. It was light, fruity & crisp & we chose 2 bottles to bring back w/us… it was however NOT part of the«Tulip Festival Wine» lineup but we just couldn’t bring ourselves to buy anything else Sis & I did feel a bit cheated however when they talked us into their«airport boxes» over just ordering online & getting it shipped. They told us the FedEx rates would be way more expensive than their shipping box but after spending $ 13 on the box then $ 25 to airport check the box as luggage(thanks to the no-liquid policy) we ended up spending more than what we’d have paid via FedEx(we checked)…not to mention the schlepping of the huge heavy box to & through the airport So best tip is IF you plan to buy some bottles & are traveling, save yourself some of your hard-earned $$$ & order online

Wow. I hate to burst the bubble but this place is not cute, or charming, or good. We stopped by after wandering the tulip fields(as did lots of other people) and immediately noticed the two best things about Pasek– the tasting is free and the staff is super friendly and way above competent. The tasting includes pours of all of their wines offered some 15 or so, mostly fruit wines. Such a large tasting flight was overwhelming for the senses and because most of the wines themselves are sweet, upsetting to the stomach. They would do better to offer each visitor one free smaller flight(grape wines, tropical fruits, berries, or desserts). I was not a fan of their wines but found most palatable, if terribly sweet. And the bottle prices are totally reasonable. During such a large tasting I got a chance to look around the tasting room a bit. As opposed to the other reviewers I found the items for sale cheesy, Most egregious was that Pasek, the official winery of the Tulip Festival(and carrying a «Tulip Festival Red») had a large bouquet of FAKETULIPS on display. The lack of judgement and good taste that led to that decision made me question everything else about Pasek.

Now, I know where to get my wines! Happy I found this place because I don’t get lucky finding sweet wines that I love. I was able to try most of the wines they have… and bought my top two favorites. I regret not buying more… Service was excellent!

Our party of 3 stopped in on the way home from the tulip festival and we couldn’t have had a better experience! After a long day of dealing with lines, crowds, and some not-so-friendly businesses owners, Pasek Cellars was the perfect place to get our spirits back up before the long ride home. First, the wine tastings were free. In and of itself, a free tasting might not be so rare… but the NUMBER of wines on the list was incredible. And they strongly encouraged you to try them all! I think there were probably 15+ wines you could try. The staff was very helpful and happy to serve. They have a variety of grape wines, fruit wines, and then fruity dessert wines and I sampled probably 3 of each. The pour was also a little bigger than most wine tasting experiences. Second, the wines were excellent! Fruit wines may not be for everyone but we certainly appreciated being able to try several different kinds to figure out what we liked and what we didn’t. We ended up buying a bottle of raspberry wine($ 10!) and the loganberry dessert wine($ 15 for ½ bottle). Not only will I enjoy these later, but I figure a lot of other wineries would charge $ 10/pp for the incredible tasting we got for free. The shop was cute with lots of wine nick-knacks and was fun to browse outside of doing the tastings, which was a nice plus.

Really love the dessert wine from this cellar. They had a late harvest viogner that was sold out… but there raspberry, blackberry, and passion fruit are tasty too…

I think I’m reviewing the correct Pasek wine-tasting room… Anyway, tasting is free! and I always purchased a dozen bottles every year. The late harvest viognier is my absolute favorite of the Pasek collection. It’s one of those wines that taste better the sooner you drink it(rather than aging it). I like dessert wines that also have a stronger alcohol taste, so I also recommend the syrah port blend. Wines are affordable but the low cost doesn’t compromise the taste! If you’re on your way to the Tulip festival in April, make sure to drop by one of the Pasek tasting rooms.

Late Harvest Viognier from Pasek Cellars is currently my favorite wine, after discovering it in their tasting room. They offer free wine tasting, 11 – 5 every day. They offer full-fruit wines including Blackberry, Raspberry, and Pineapple(which, incidentally, would be great with ham), as well as dessert wines which are fortified with brandy(very sweet, thick wines). Their wines start at around $ 10 a bottle, and they have a nice attached gift shop that sells wine accessories. Exit on the I-5 «Lake McMurray» exit and go west just a little bit, then turn north(right) onto Fir Island Road, and the tasting room is in the big barn immediately after the turn.

Pasek deserves your business. I took off a star because they just don’t have a very good selection of traditional wines. The great majority of their wines are fruit wines(like cranberry) and apparently there are people in this world who love this stuff more than regular wine. Go figure. The tasting room staff were two kind-hearted women, ladies of the best class, gentle, well-mannered, and everything you could want in an aunt or a grandmother, but for a tasting room, I personally prefer to be given a little background, a little story, a little enthusiasm, which is to say, I like someone to try to sell me on the winery, rather than being little more than a polite cashier. But that’s just me.

If you’re looking for delicious, but not pretentious then I highly recommend stopping at the Pasek Cellars tasting room. I’ve only been wine tasting a handful of times and while I always enjoy it, I’m easily intimidated due to my lack of wine knowledge. Fortunately, the people running the complimentary Pasek tasting room are incredibly friendly and informative and were helpful with suggesting pairings. I left with a bottle of Muscat Canelli for TENDOLLARS. Their fruit wines were delicious– guava, pineapple, cranberry, blackberry– you name it. I’m sort of kicking myself for not picking up a few more bottles, since the wines seemed perfectly suited for spring and summer. Thankfully, PCC and QFC carry a few of the fruit wines, so I won’t have to make any special trips north, though it’d probably be worth it.

I’ve been drinking their wine since they started. Their original store was downtown Mount Vernon, but now they’ve moved to Conway, just take the Conway exit and it’s at the Texaco Station. The owners are awesome and enjoy spending time with their customers. They now have a little gift shop that is very nice.

I didn’t expect too much when I walked into the Pasek Cellars tasting room which is simply a counter with wine racks in the middle of a grocery store. But… I was pleasantly surprised. Although I’m usually not a big fan of the sweet wines, these guys won me over. The wine is crisp and lively, with just the right amount of fruit. The«tasting room» quickly grows on you, and the staff is very personable. The wines pair well with the right foods and are also fun to sip on its own. We had a great time. And we both picked up several bottles. Very affordable. Truly unique selection. Definitely worth stopping by. HINT: Pick up several of the Cranberry wine bottles. Pull those babies out at your next holiday party and blow your friends’ minds!

This review is really more for the tasting room which is located at 18729 Fir Island Rd, but regardless, I quite like their wine. Most of their wines are on the fruitier end… of course, I like that. My favorite is the cranberry wine. It’s made from just cranberries and it’s tart and tasty. Mmmm! I brought back a couple of bottles. The tasting room is pretty nice. They are generous with tastes and I like that. Definitely stop by this place.
