Best old-fashioned burger in the valley! Order the deluxe burger basket! Burger sauce is the best! Fries are crinkle cut and so tasty!

Good food for a good price. Love going in the summer and eating at the outside tables.

I had the western burger. Onions grilled perfectly, bacon just recently staged and ready to go, ooey gooey cheesiness, crisp lettuce and tomato, all surrounded by a bun sized hand battered onion ring. You really can’t beat the price, for what they give you! The onion ring batter alone makes me want to go back for the fish-n-chips.

Good old fashioned burger stand food. Always hot and fresh, always delicious. price is right. There are better burgers in the valley, but sometimes you just want an old fashioned burger, none of the brioche bun goat cheese arugula stuff. Doesn’t get any better than The Net for that! Haven’t tried the shakes here yet.

Hamburgers– B, Fries-B, Fish sandwich-C–(portion size was good but fish patty was too mushy). Shake-A+ Friendly service and locals rave about this place. One person I talked to had been going here for over 30 years! Very loyal following. I’d probably try it again and just not order the Fish Sandwich.

It’s a Burger Stop, just off of the Highway, walk up, order, take your food with you in the car. It’s good enough to return over and over. The milkshakes are special but contain corn syrup. Call it in ahead(360)424−1384 and pick up on the way to the Ferry.

It’s good, not great, except for the milkshake, which is great. The burger was good but dry. The fries are frozen but cooked well. The staff is friendly and pretty fast, especially given how busy they are at lunch time. Probably stop by again but won’t go out of my way.

Great food. Had a fish basket and a shrimp basket. The shrimp and fish were excellent. The fries were ok. It was about a 10 minute wait for our food. Friendly staff. No cocktail sauce. Eat outside or in your car. Portapotty

I don’t come to Mount Vernon often & was really excited to try this place. We drove by & it was pretty busy, which is a good sign. On our way out of town we stopped here & got burgers & fries. The burgers were amazing. Vegetables were crunchy & the bun was not greasy at all. The homemade tartar was really good! I’m a big fan of tartar, so any tartar is usually pretty good in my book. I will definitely come back to this burger joint when I am in the area!

Solid 3.5 stars, maybe almost a 4 star lol. Just hard to give a 4 for a drive-by joint off the main road, as it’s easy to miss if you’re doing 40mph or whatever the conversion is, it’s easy to miss as it’s a small shack-like, but I digress… Nice summer day recently, and Unilocaled this as the best combo of burgers and milkshakes under one roof. While waiting as 3rd in line, both people ahead of me ordered the Western burger, with its sauce differentiating itself from their Deluxe. Just as expected, not an overly size of patty for $ 5.50 but nonetheless, the veggies and yummy grilled onions made up for it. Fries were probably a bit overrated, though it reminded me of the ones you get at a fair or something. Impressed with real Heinz ketchup, hey, what do u expect in the states! Now to the milkshake: 2 kinds, so can’t remember exactly as I know it was chocolate, a bit too thick for my liking but worth ordering again for just $ 3.65 for the large. Next time, and it’s definitely worth a repeat, I’ll go for the malt for some extra flavour.

This hit the spot. That perfect little roadside dive when you want a cheap, messy burger. Lots of milkshake and malt flavors, and a great black bean chipotle burger!

This is a good little burger and shake place that you’d probably drive right past if it weren’t for the line of people standing outside placing their order. All of the food is cooked fresh to order, so it takes a few minutes longer than a typical fast food chain. The cheeseburgers were good and so was the butterscotch milkshake.

If you want a decent burger at a good price, it’s worth the visit. I had a veggie, and co-worker loved his western burger! You can share an order of fries and the vanilla shake is real, and amazing!

Worth the drive to the West side — best fries in the Valley except for 5 Guys — burgers are good old fashioned Americana — all a a reasonable cost — I can’t see my toes sometimes because of how many Raspberry Shakes my fat arse has consumed — The Net is a Classic Skagit Valley Burger joint — sort of a cult Restaurant.

I love drive-in style burgers. However, I only liked this burger. I had the Net burger which was two patties, cheese, onion lettuce tomato and sauce. This is the second time I have been here and I wanted to give it a second chance. I would actually give a 2.5. Not bad, not great. I didn’t get the fries since I am not a fan of the thick crinkle cut fries…

A little slice of Americana. My wife brought me here when we first started dating to introduce me to one of her childhood staples. It’s nothing outrageous and they keep very odd hours of operation but there’s something special about a roadside hamburger joint that’s been open since 1955. Support this place if you drive by and it’s open.

Some of the best burgers in town! A lot of people love their fries too, but I’m not a big fan of the fatter, crinkle cut fries they use. Usually takes at least 10 mins to get your order. Have patience, they make everything fresh! Wait times can be up to 30 mins on a busy day. Plan to kick back in your car or at the picnic tables until your number is called. They have a PA system, so you don’t have to stand right by the window if you don’t want to. Big props to their hand blended milkshakes, worth the trip for the shakes alone!

I drove by this little shack all the time when I go to the tulip festival. So, this time I stopped by and tried it. We ordered a double dex and a fish and chip. The order took a long time to fulfill. Later on, I found out that there was a big order in front of mine. Then, a gentleman who dine at The Net all the time said that the slow deliver is the norm. To me, I think it is okay because I am not in a hurry. So, I enjoyed my wait. Anyway, the burger is better than I expected and the fish and chip is actually pretty tasty. If I have to pick anything negative out, it have to be the older cooking oil was used. The deep fried fish is a bit brown. In general, the food is pretty oily. Oh well, almost all tasty food is not too good for us. Right?! BTW, there are a couple wooden picnic tables for us to use by the fields. Price is just right.
