Westside Party and Tent Rental

Westside has been amazing from start to finish… and I haven’t been the easiest of customers. I’ve changed my order several times and at each step, they were patient, helpful with suggestions and accommodating. I would recommend them highly… the whole team: Amanda, Marty, and others – a wonderful family owned company that understands customer service and has great quality rentals! Thanks!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. They were incredibly rude on the day of my wedding. They did not deliver the tent at the time they said they would and then charged my credit card. When I spoke to Marty, from the company, he was outright rude and offensive, even though it was their mistake. You don’t have to pay good money for this kind of service. There are plenty of tent rental places in New York that will be professional and courteous. I would never do business with them again. I strongly advise you stay away.

I was trying to place an order for a small (maybe too small) of an event. They nearby and convenient, with a great website.
The only problem was that I emailed them for a quote; the quote I received had just the price (pretty much no words). I had questions about the price and wrote back… no response. I called them and they explained that there was a minimum charge for delivery. I asked if I could place an order on the phone… the answer was no, I had to write an email. So I emailed. Again, a three word answer – the price, and «Please advise,» So then I wrote back and said I would accept that and complete the order, and asked what I needed to do to next (I wasn’t going to just email my cc info)… no answer. Tried calling on Saturday during the hours they open to figure out how to place the order and give them payment info. No answer. I gave up.
It is too bad, I really wanted to order from them, but it didn’t work out.

This review is based on my telephone interactions with this company. We intended to rent Plates, Dishes, Glasses and Utensils from this company. We have since decided to go another route. They are not the cheapest in their field but they are one of the lowest priced companies out there.
I have called them on several occasions with various questions and they have been nothing but patient and thorough. For a nervous bride like me their patience is greatly appreciated. Their website is also easy to navigate. Basically you can go to their website and price out the items you are interested in renting. You have a better sense of cost and this helps in you figuring out your budget. By the way to save money on delivery, they give you the option to pick up the items you decide to rent.
