The sausage roll calzone is amazing. The bread they give you is delicious as well. The chicken parm is not any better than what you get at fazolli but everything else is delicious. Reasonable prices.

I am a small business supporter, and being that there are few in Mount Washington, I was excited when we got Tuscany. I have been to their Louisville location and it was good. Since they have opened it wasn’t quite on par with Louisville but their new and the food was good. I had to be fair to give them time to get their footing. After several good visits, we had a out of town guest who wanted to grab a bite to eat Thursday 9⁄17 before they hit the road. We arrived at Tuscany at 7:05, we seen a big party in the very back and they said it was a party of 50 but it would not effect our service, they have their own servers back there and have already ordered. Since we had a guest who needed to get on the road we wanted to be mindful of time. Well it went down hill from jump, 7:15 rolls around we have no service I went to the hostess stand and asked as several servers looked at us but no one stopped. I asked the hostess if we could get our server or at least our drink order(sodas). Bout 3 – 4 mins later Melissa came by(the same girl who walked past and looked at us numerous times), at that point we were ready to order we got cheese bread for appetizer, sampler platter, baked spaghetti, steak sub, and chicken carbonara for dinner. OK so by 7:25 we finally have drinks, and about 10 mins later have our appetizer, things were finally moving or so we thought. At 8:05(by this time were watching the clock) 40 mins after we put in our order I asked the server if our food was coming we have waited a long time, she said there was a party, we advised that we were told they wouldn’t affect our meal she said«oh I don’t know?» She then proceeded to tell us several people have left without their food because of the wait(which we seen 2 tables get up and leave). She came back and said that it was almost ready everything was in the window but the chicken carbonara but she couldn’t bring the food till it was all done, but should be right out. 10 more mins past and no food so I asked for the manager at this point we’re 50 mins after initial order however she never brought the manager. Our food came out the plates were hot but to our suprise(since they said they were cooking and that was the hold up) our food was cold. The fries for the sub were cold and hard not even like warm, the spaghetti had literally dried to the plate and was cold. The carbonara that was the hold up was Luke warm at best and the sauce had that dried look to it… I went to the hostess stand cause the manager was up there and I’m sorry I’m not trying to be rude but he did not speak much English and could not understand a word in was saying. I told him our whole ordeal the only word he got was chicken carbonara, he did sorry with no interest what so ever and said I’ll look into it.(I think that’s what he said). Not one person in our party ate their food we put it in boxes as we had to take it home to warm it up. So after an hour and half, $ 37 ticket(he did take off chicken carbonara) we had to take our food home to warm it up just to eat it. When we got to the car I called the main restaurant in Louisville and asked for the owner I spoke with kelly she said she was manager at the Louisville location I told her what happened she apologized over and over again however it was not her store she managed so she couldn’t do much. I told her that the manager was absolutely no help she said he don’t speak much English and probably didn’t understand me. She said she would relay the message to that manager and she took my info, 24 hours later no call from the manager. Mount Washington is a small community if you want to survive I. The restraunt business here you have to be good. That night they lost us as customers and I know the other tables that left as well. One table walked by us as they were leaving and said«good luck.» The pure lack of unprofessional ism and service is embarrassing to the restraunt in louisville that has always been good, but because of my experience here I can no longer support this business. Thankfully they are getting or so I have heard an olive garden in Shepherdsville, I hope so i will definitely drive the extra 10 miles for good food at this point if I want italian I’ll drive to fazolis. Very disappointed iwtn Tuscany they should be embarrassed. Save your time and money.

Terrible service! Over 3 hours to get food. Not very busy either. Never heard an apology. Can’t say I’ll be back. Some of the food was ok according to friends. But the hot tuna sub didn’t have hot tuna… straight out of the fridge.

Food was great but they grossly underestimated the amount of consumers to be served. Service was slow but not for lack of hard work. The staff was great but this failure is squarely on the ownership.

This is our second time visiting. We will definitely return. The food was great and the service good. Everyone needs to eat at this place. I do not want it to close for lack of customers. We don’t have enough good restaurants in Mt Washington.

Let’s just say I am impressed that we finally got a good place to eat great food in Mt. Washington. The food was fantastic. Chicken Picatta was perfect and the chicken Alfredo was the same. They are working through the kinks of starting up and are having issues with help so the wait was a while. Hopefully the help comes because the food is a blessing to have.
