Chinese Palace used to be our favorite Chinese restaurant in town. About 2 years ago it became«Panda Buffet». The quality fell enough we stopped going. We tried it again tonight. They cut down on cooked Chinese dishes & added a lot of gooey dessert items. Buffet dishes, that once were delicious, now sit dry & of undetermined age. The sanitation in the place is very questionable based on the lack of cleanliness on glass surfaces I could see. I hate to have to give a completely negative review but that’s all this place deserves.

The food was good. It took me a bit to get someone to man the Mongolian grill, but the sushi was varied and the rest of the meal was quite adequate. One minor detractor, the hot tea consisted of a tea kettle with two tea bags in it, which meant the tea got more bitter and over-brewed as we got near the end.

I was turned off by the fishy greese smell as you entered the place. The Mongolian Sir Fry was fine. The buffet was large, but unappetizing. Egg rolls had only cabbage in them. They had a nice ice cream self serve center. Lots and lots of mediocore food in dark decore. The staff was very nice; they bent over backward to serve you. I wonder what they eat in their own kitchen…
