Great deli. Polite staff. Always offering samples. Tasty chicken strips. Generous with sauces. Smooth mash potatoes peppery gravy. Best peach cobbler. Sweet but not overt so

The only down side to this place is that there is this creepy bagger guy that works there named Levi. My sister and several of her friends have complained about him making sexual comments to them and have seen him do it to other women as well on various occasions. The bakery here is great and there is always good sales happening throughout the store. This is definitely a better choice than Wal-Mart for groceries any day.

They do a great job here folks. Great produce, fair pricing, friendly cashiers. Real meat, no additives. Real butchers for a special cut. I dont buy my burger anywhere else. Good produce and meat sales. This is a real grocery store that is run by locals and caters to the locals. Relaxing place to go shop. You also wont find a 2 lb. wet diaper at the bottom of your meat tray either. Their house made breakfast sausage is great too.

The small-town grocer is definitely a world away from mass market stores like Wal-Mart. The selection of brands slightly reflects this. I always relish in the quality of the the cashiers and stockers that well tell you how their day is going and don’t treat the customers like they are a nuisance wasting their time.

This is the only place in town that I buy meat. They make great recommendations if you ask for help. They have a nice bakery, especially, on Sunday mornings. Suprisingly, they have a lot more Mexican and Asian packaged products than Wal-Mart. I like their eggs, too.

Town and Country’s been a major player in the grocery store game in Mountain Home for decades. It’s located on the South side of town and gets a lot of business from people living in that area. I find their prices to be fair, for the most part, but selections somewhat limited compared to a couple of the larger stores. I’ve experienced some very good service from friendly and help employees in the past, but have also been served by some very rude and disinterested employees at times too. I like their lunch offerings from the deli counter during the week. I stop by sometimes to grab something for lunch.
