What keeps us coming back? My husband loves wings. I enjoy their beer selection — while not extensive it is always changing. Most of what I’ve ordered off the menu has been good. The specials are usually nice(Monday is wing night with a choice of a number of sauces, Tuesday is clams, and I believe Thursday is lobster). Soups seem to be house made and are creative in nature. Staff is friendly, although servicIe can be a problem when the place begins to hop.

I hate leaving a one star review but in this case I will give two stars because my bottled beer was at least cold. The draft list is horrible. No IPAs to be found, just some generic stuff. BUT. That is excusable. What is not excusable is the hour and half wait for food. The kitchen and wait staff are horribly disorganized. Other tables who came in way after ours got their food earlier which leads me to believe that there is no real order to when tickets come in. I think it’s basically luck if your ticket gets fired when you ordered. So frustrating especially since it’s plain old bar food. I have been in many dive bars where food is delivered promptly. I’ve also been in Michelin starred places where service runs like clockwork. What is this place’s excuse? Lack of waitstaff? Perhaps. I think it is incompetence all around and a general lack of organization. For my money and time I would rather go to the Ice House pub in my ‘hood. Yeah it’s a dive but at least I don’t have to wait an hour and a half to get some goddamn chicken wings. Skip this place. Update: actually when we got our food, it wasn’t very good. Even more of a reason to skip this place.

This is a really great spot for food. They would have gotten another star, save for two things. They should have one more bartender on staff(drinks can be a bit slow), and they should have a sign! I almost gave up my first time trying to find the place! Their only sign is on the inside of the door(conveniently facing inwards?), which you can’t see from either street.
