If you are looking for your greasy doughnut be prepared for other worldly adventures. This store is hidden away under an overgrown tree near Costco. The frustration forced us to become sad that we couldn’t locate our food source. A view from above must have been comical, watching us circling the parking lot, leaving the parking lot to return again and again. The front passenger succumbed to bowing her head and covering her eyes in distress. My car’s GPA kept getting stuck finding the location too. Like a boat lost at sea for several days, I anticipated sighting land, asking someone to hold the wheel while I threw over the heavy nautical rope to bring us closer to shore. A shiny light caught my eye from above, and I noticed the Jolly Green Giant using his index finger like a laser pointer, clearly insulted we refused his healthy choices, while making us go in circles like a cheap toy from the dollar store. It was the loud belch from a family leaving that allowed me to zero in on my location. So when you leave, please be gracious enough to burp up your doughnut loudly, to signal other lost victims in the parking lot because otherwise they will struggle as well due to the overgrown monstrous tree.

I haven’t been to Krispy Kreme in ages! But their donuts are still the best I’ve ever had, and I’m so happy they’re still in existence. I came here with a friend and we got a half-dozen donuts combined. I absolutely love their maple and regular glazed donuts. You can never go wrong with their classic glaze! We ordered from the drive-through and the whole process was very quick and smooth! I only wish the donuts were warm, but not much else to complain about! Gotta come back here more often and relive those childhood memories :)

I love this place, especially its location. I always stop by here on the way to San Francisco. Doughnuts are great! Make sure you check their hot ready hours, that’s the only time to go. My go to place for doughnuts in the Bay Area.

All of the staff was overtly rude when presented with a coupon from the newspaper that CLEARLY included their store. They refused to honor the coupon and repeated phrases like«we don’t care and we don’t have to honor ANYTHING». Nothing but blantant disrespect in front of my 7 year old daughter. I was shocked and spent two days trying to explain how people can be so abusive and disrespectful to their own customers.

Not everyone is a fan of Krispy Kreme donuts but I don’t think that matters I am a fan I believe they serve really good donuts and this location has a great presentation. Very clean ample parking nearby very visual and good customer service. The coffee was a little cool and there was no way to heat it back up to where I was comfortable but it did not matter I was here for the donuts. They had plenty of donuts and we’re constantly cooking them will look like in the back so this is a busy location right in the heart of Google and Yahoo and everything digital and technical in the immediate area. There is a Costco and McDonald’s in the same parking lot along with other venues and food and a gas station a few blocks away if you need gas. I recommend this place because of the location and the need for something really sweet and basically a nice delicious fattening donut to tear up and enjoy. Feast my friends.

Never ever had a Krispy Kreme doughnut until recently and not in a rush to have any of them any time soon. That’s not to say they aren’t pretty decent little bites of sugary goodness, but they just don’t appeal to me that much. Tried a chocolate filled one they gave me for my birthday and found it to be too sweet, especially the filling inside. Recently, saw that they were offering six free glazed if you downloaded their app on your phone. I’m lazy, but not that lazy. Easy peasy. Saw on the app the hot n ready sign was on, so cruised on over the day after Xmas and was the only car there. The petite and polite Asian girl working the window had no idea how to comp the coupon and the manager had to come over and they actually took my phone to who knows where, but after three or minutes of confusion, they finally handed me my box of treats. Had one and the rest were for the guests. Good, but the whole time I was thinking how long to burn off these calories. Just simply more of a bagel man than a doughnut dude. They definitely are better than some mom and pop shops around the area, so I give them credit for that. Also, about a week earlier, my girl had gotten a dozen for helping out somebody’s fundraiser and I didn’t touch a single one. And, yes, they just sat there out in the open trying to tempt my belly and I showed restraint, not easy for your neighborhood LaVeyan. Eating one out of eighteen doughnuts? That IS discipline.

This place is fun. From the first time I had a glazed donut fresh off the line, I was hooked. First it was coming here with my wife, then this has turned into coming here with my seven year old son. He loves to watch the donuts getting made and his favorite part is the glaze shower. We’ll return!

I only stopped by because I was nearby, hungry and in the mood for a donut. The price I paid for a cream-filled chocolate donut was decent and, on the inside of the place, it’s very clean, well-lit and spacious. Facts: * It’s located in a sizable shopping center, but be warned that this shopping center can get very crowded whenever Costco is open. * You can also go through the drive thru, but be warned that the line there can be long too. * Huge variety of donuts to choose from. Overall, my donut was not terrible, but the freshness that I would expect from a donut that I bought first thing in the morning just wasn’t there. I like the small mom-and-pop donut shops better because, in my experience, they put more emphasis in the freshness and taste of the donuts than the chain places do. I might return if I’m in the area. 3 stars

Okay, okay, now I know what all the fuss is about! I finally came here when their«Hot and Fresh» sign was lit up. I had been here a handful of times before, and just got the donuts ready made from behind the glass which are fine and dandy. But when I took my first bite of that hot and fresh glazed doughnut, I was transported to a world from a long ago time… being a kid and having donuts and just enjoying the heck out of them! The glaze had formed a crispy shell and the interior was so soft and fresh aaaaaghghghghghg(Homer Simpson noise). Dang that was good. I got them late at night and had them with the family for dessert. I think they are better for dessert than for breakfast even.

This location has a drive-thru which is super convenient. Today I was helped by Fabio who was one of the most helpful and kind chain employees I have met thus far. He was knowledgeable about the products and provided wonderful customer service. I felt he needed recognition as he positively changed my otherwise rough day, and I really appreciated that. I got a glazed original, Halloween sprinkle, and a mixed cup of donut holes. My tip if you’re taking them home: zap them in the microwave for about 15 seconds. :) The experience was 5 stars. The donuts were 4 stars.

We drove here expecting to get glazed donuts tonight. We walked to the front door and the guy standing in front of the door says that they are closed. They need to change the time that they are open to reflect their actual hours. It was a disappointing trip because we don’t live near by. Next time we will drive to the one in Daly City. I’m giving this place 2 stars because the glazed donuts are quite good. As expected, it taste the same as any other location.

So Unilocal asks me: «You’ve checked in here two times. What keeps you coming back?» Well first off, Unilocal,I’ve been here WAAAAAY more times than my check-ins indicate. Secondly, you ask me what makes me come back to Krispy Kreme? I will give you two guesses. OK, back to the review. I like coming to Krispy Kreme because of the donuts, and I like coming to this location because drive-thru is fast and friendly. The coffee’s good too.(My rule is that, if a donut place has crappy coffee, they have no clue what they’re doing, and it’s best to never return. I’ve had some of my *favorite* cups of coffee at donut shops.) It does seem like Krispy Kreme’s a bit different than I remember, though. The dough(for the non-original styles) is not as sweet — seems like they’re counting on the icing to do the work, but that’s not quite effective. I mean, the icing and fillings are REALLY sweet, but the dough is basically bready. I mean, I still like the donuts, but I would prefer to have the sweetness more evenly distributed.

I used to go here since it first opened. And slowly the place has been in decline. Since these are franchises, I believe the ownership has changed. My recent trip was horrible! The coffee was ice cold. When I brought the coffee back to the counter — immediately the clerk said the coffee is cold! I did not have to tell her what was the matter with the coffee — she knew. The coffee also tasted horrible. It’s pretty sad that a donut shop doesn’t have decent coffee. And this wasn’t an «off’ day. I have noticed the coffee tasted terrible the last few times I have been here. And don’t use the bathroom. The bathroom is grimy and dirty. Okay as I said the ownership must have changed. In the past the coffee was great. It was hot and tasted really great. Sometimes I used to go here just for the coffee. And the bathroom was clean! I think they are doing something to make the coffee weak and they don’t toss it when it got cold. And they used to keep the bathroom clean! It is a depressing place to go to now. I would recommend going to the McDonald’s next door for a coffee since they make it well and the bathroom is clean!

Who hates Krispy Kreme?! Not this girl! I actually didn’t like Krispy Kreme until later in life. I’ve been missing out! Their original glazed donuts are where it’s at! They’re so good and fluffy! I’m less of a fan of cakey donuts so Krispy Kreme is just right for me. They bake them fresh very often so be sure to grab a box of fresh donuts. When they’re fresh they’re very squishy and the donut just melts in your mouth. If you wait a bit and the glaze hardens but the interior is still soft, they’re still delicious. It depends on your taste — I prefer when the glaze hardens a bit.

I’m now convinced that I prefer mom-and-pop donut shops to Krispy Kreme! I remember liking Krispy Kreme when I was younger. I tried it again recently and think the donuts taste somewhat«fake» to me. I don’t know if that’s the right word to describe them — but they weren’t satisfying to me. (I had gotten a box of a dozen donuts with a number of different flavors.)

Whenever I pay a visit to Krispy Kreme, I feel like I snuck out and had an affair! I always have this guilty pleasures that I have«sinned» munching these sinful morsels. I can’t help myself but be drawn to the«Green, White and Polka Dots» sign especially whenever I am on my way home taking route 101! How can I not, the service here have always been fantastic. There is always that nice gentleman and lady who helps me with a genuine smile, and I don’t even use their drive-thru! At 8pm at night when I have worked 12 hours, I chuckle with gratitude when they make me smile and give me a nice toot of LMAO! Krispy Kreme, thanks for smiles! Until then, Cheers! ~ :p

Krispy Kreme came into my sight. haven’t tried them for awhile. eats: triple chocolate crème(1.29) –pricey for a small donut(9.99 a dozen?) –solid chocolate crème and chocolate topping very sweet. –donut not melt in ur mouth, not the freshest crumbs: –slight aftertaste, frutose? –service ok –got sticker shock looking at the prices. only krispy has raised their prices. no one else has. maybe it’s just this location.

I had a weird craving for Krispy Kreme the other day and dragged the family here. First thing my dad’s comment was wow, I can’t believe this place is actually still open. Which is actually quite true. Krispy Kreme used to be the staple birthday party treat that kids would bring in to class in elementary school. I used to love those days and the people who actually brought in a variety of doughnuts so you wouldn’t just be stuck with the boring glazed ones. Sadly times changes and Krispy Kreme no longer gives you that free one glazed doughnut when you first walk in. Those were the good days. They are master manipulators at their prices though. You’ll notice that prices are split by a single donut vs a dozen. In case you were wondering, a dozen is $ 9.99, a single is $ 1.49, and if you want to get six it’s $ 7.46 or some other odd specific number. Anyways. It kinda sucks because it basically means you have to get a dozen if you don’t want to feel like you’ve been super ripped off for your doughnuts… but unless you’re going to a party or you have a million friends you really, really do not and should not be eating that many doughnuts in a day. I went with the dumb move and ended up getting six which was a total rip off but at least still cheaper than the dozen? yay? Anyways, donuts here are pretty prime. Maybe it’s because I was raised on Krispy Kreme, but I really don’t like donuts anywhere else. To me, the Krispy Kreme donut is the standard donut to which I compare other donuts to oddly enough. It’s not exactly a culinary masterpiece, but it’s still pretty darn good. Their glazed ones taste just like they did in the 1990s. Now that’s art. tldr; I really did not need to write a novel about Krispy Kreme. basically their donuts still taste good yay yum. but hope you have a lot of friends and buy the dozen otherwise you’ll be terribly ripped off.
