I’ve been coming to Dr. Katz and his awesome team for 7 years and came to this page as I was again referring him and his staff to another friend. Clearly everyone likes him as much as we do! Dr. Katz and his team put you at ease, are up front and honest with their recommendations on your dental care and provide thorough cleaning and examinations. And as everyone raves about, I’ve never had a dentist call me the day after a filling, crown, etc, to make sure I was doing ok. Dr. Katz and his team go above and beyond and will put you at ease — go see them!

Wow, what a phenomenal team: very skilled, attentive, professional, and kind!
Really meticulous (reminder calls, gum line measurements, etc.), with followup calls from Dr. Katz after major work. They keep me updated and explain everything going on with my dental health. The staff are all very friendly and available.
Best of all, very honest! I’ve had some dentists who were quick to suggest fillings, but Dr. Katz carefully monitors progress of a potential cavity or replacement filling, and reviews my xrays with me for an open discussion. High level of integrity here, which is deeply valued!

I am not sure why you would go to another dentist. Dr. Katz and his staff are the best. First thing is they are always prompt and on time with your appointment. I never have to wait more than a few minutes. I have seen Dr. Katz for a few things including cleanings and fillings. The dental hygienist always does a good job and even measures my gum line to see if there is an area I need to pay special attention to.

Dr. Katz seems to really care about the health of your teeth and depending on the procedure follows up with a phone call or a handwritten note.

When Dr. Katz worked on my filling, he even provided headphones so I could listen to music during the procedure and not hear the instruments.

I have recommended him to my husband and my brother, so I can truly say Dr. Katz is our family dentist.

everyone in the office are top notch in what they do. From the reminder call about your appointment, to checking in, getting your teeth cleaned, to Dr Katz and taking care of your teeth. I have had several filings and 2 crowns done here as I have been going here for 15+ years. All Done with the minimalist amount of pain and always a nice follow up call (even on the weekends) from Dr Katz himself.

Dr Katz and team are truly impeccable. I cannot express how happy I am with the quality of the dentistry and the friendliness of the team. I have never experienced a dentist who calls the day after the procedure to check how I’m doing (even on a Sat).
My English teeth needed a fair amount of work done and TBH there’s a part of me that doesn’t regret those genes because I’ve now met this wonderful bunch.

Back again to replace an ancient crown. Michael did a fabulous job as usual. He even called on a Saturday to see how I was doing. That’s beyond my expectations. His staff is equally delightful. Something extra that I love — he has fabulous huge photo collages in every room. Visuals that you can emerge yourself into if you don’t want to be thinking about your teeth. Works for me!

Best dentist experience I ever had. Dr. Katz is the most professional, friendly, knowing dentist, his staff is also so friendly and amazing. They’re doing their jobs according to the highest standards, but also there are little things like you can listen to your own music while they are doing filings, you can choose between different tastes for the teeth polishing procedure (including chocolate!), and just everything they do is so caring and positive and welcoming. This is literally a gem if you are looking for a dentist office, you won’t want to deal with anyone else after Dr. Katz and his staff.

I started going to this office as a referral from a co-​worker when it was just Dr. Bares. My teeth were well taken care of then, and now with Dr. Katz, the experience has been just as phenomenal.
The office staff has been there for years, and treat me like family — we all have a great time together. My whole family goes there. Everyone is very competent, caring, and professional. Dr. Katz is exceptionally gentle and sensitive, patient to a fault. I never feel like services are being pushed on me, and he doesn’t do anything that’s not necessary. He provides enough information to make intelligent decisions about the next level of care needed for the particular situation.
The whole staff makes you feel comfortable and relaxed, and they all seem to get along with each other. Exceptionally well run office.

I completely agree with the other reviewers, Dr. Katz is the best dentist ever! Not only does he provide excellent service, his staff is funny, friendly and very efficient.

Dr. Katz is a great dentist! I can tell that he takes his profession seriously. I love how he knows what he is doing and that he informs you of what exactly is going on. He cares about his patients. He is very gentle and makes sure that I am never feeling discomfort. He has put a lot of my anxieties of having dentist work done at ease. I had a lot of work done to my teeth, and had left my former dentist due to poor practices. Dr. Katz has helped me feel more comfortable in walking into a dentist office!

Dr Katz is a great dentist. His office does everything to make your dental experience as comfortable as it can be. They take my Delta Dental Insurance as well. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the area needing dental care.

I highly recommend Dr. Katz. My experience as his patient for 4 years is exactly as the rest of the reviews describe it. His staff is incredibly kind and I like the low-​key, friendly atmosphere in the office. I’m always surprised by how much they remember about me each time I go back.
Dr. Katz is thorough, patient, and genuinely cares about his patient’s oral care and comfort. Last Christmas I chipped my tooth and left a voicemail with his office to set up an appointment to repair it– failing to mention it was a minor issue. Within a few hours I got a call from Dr. Katz saying that he was out on holiday but if it was serious he would try to get me in as soon as possible. I was really struck by his quick response despite the fact that he was out on holiday.

I am 63 years old and this is absolutely the BEST dentist and staff I have had the pleasure of doing business with. The dentist is a «scary» word but since my first visit i felt at ease and was treated very very well.Dr. Katz is so compassionate and gentle… and his techs and staff are just so darn nice. I actually do not mind going to the dentist anymore. it is a clean, cozy and welcoming atmosphere. and just recently after a 400 mile drive up from LA on Fathers Day he and Joanne met me at their office to fix my broken crown!!! it does not get any better than that… FYI i had another dentist previously who was very well known and did not like how i was treated after going there for a whole year… i was just a number… Dr. Katz and his staff treat you like family…

I have been going to this office for over 10 years, since it was Dr. Bares. When he brought in Dr. Katz I was, of course, apprehensive, but I trusted Dr. Bares to find a suitable replacement.
Dr. Katz is more than suitable — he is outstanding, both in his ability and his compassion. I very much appreciate his approach to dentistry and to the care of his patients; he is always concerned about my comfort and more than understanding and patient with me.
The entire staff is terrific; the fact that most of them have stayed over after Dr. Bares left is another testament to Dr. Katz. It’s hard to go through a transition like that, but the office staff is a genuinely happy group, even first thing in the morning.
As for another review about Dr. Katz being good-​looking, I have to admit I had never really thought about it. He’s certainly better-​looking than I am, but, to be honest, so was Dr. Bares. I feel much worse about him having to look at me than my having to look at him, and I suppose that’s a good thing.
I certainly recommend Dr. Katz and the rest of the office to anyone who needs quality dental care.

Dr Katz has always taken as much time (and Novocaine) as needed to ensure my visit is a pain-​free experience.

I have been coming to this office ever since my adult teeth finished pushing my baby teeth out. Back then my dentist was Dr. Bares and today Dr. Katz carries the practice along with lots of grace. I don’t think I can think of a single negative thing to say about Dr. Katz and this entire Dental office. I have never had a bad day at the dentist thanks to them. Now my teeth are a different story. I floss every single day and I carefully brush twice a day but I still seem to have a cavity every now and then. But somehow Dr. Katz and Joanna make filling that cavity an enjoyable experience. Thorough, gentle, caring, funny, and kind are words that apply to everyone there. I hope I never have to go anywhere else.

Highly recommended — a visit to dentist has never been this refreshing and hassle free. I was initially recommended by my co-​worker and that was when I first moved to the area — so I duly took her advice and went here… with a grain of salt of course.
I’ve been going here for ever since I moved here, and I just love it — it really feels like I am there to have my teeth taken care of. The atmosphere is very cozy, congenial and warm — something that’s not really common at dentist offices.

Dr. Katz is a phenomenal dentist. I don’t have problems with my teeth or mouth in general, but he is kind, very concerned about my comfort, attentive, always calling the next day to ask how you are when you get fillings, and good looking. I had a dentist once that had weird flappy lips and too much nose hair, and so I consider good looking to be important for someone that is going to be 6 inches from my face.
But really, the best thing about this office is the support staff. The dental hygienist is amazing, and the office is run like a TOP! My insurance paid more than they expected, and they sent me a check immediately. I hadn’t even gotten the statement from the insurance yet.
As a bonus, everyone gets along and are really funny. It seems like a happy and fun place to work!
