Always Helpful and Great Customer Service. Both Kenny and Dr. Jenny were very nice and answered any questions that I had.

I’ve had a great experience here. The exam was great and the doctor knows her stuff. Also I needed a slight adjustment when I got my lenses back and they did it with no hassle or issues. I’ll definitely go back next year.

Dr. Jenny Cheung is awesome. I got my sunglasses from her and they are perfect. Highly recommend this place.

This update is delayed when in fact my issue was resolved almost immediately after my original post. I received an email from Kenny the owner and after we spoke in person we reached an equitable resolution. Kenny demonstrated profound commitment to his business, and customer satisfaction.

I wear progressive lenses. Kenny has always given me the best service. Plus he is the best at lining up the prescriptions for the different lenses.

I would like to retract the review that I gave on 4/​23, and will give Site for Sore Eyes 5 Stars. I received an apology message on my phone from Kenny, the manager, after reading my review here on Unilocal.He apologized profusely and wanted to make it up to me by re-​doing my glasses at no cost. I returned the call, and thanked him for his graciousness and soon thereafter I gave him my glasses to have them redone. Today, I picked up my glasses, and was very pleasantly surprised that they were perfect, and I was again a happy customer, and will go back to Kenny at Site for Sore Eyes. I applaud his sincerity and professionalism about my previously bad experience.

The reviews for this business scared me a bit, but since they accepted my insurance and were relatively close by, I decided to go in to get my vision checked since my prescription expired. My insurance covered the vision exam, but it cost me $ 60 for contact lens fitting.
Easy process and Dr. Jenny Cheung was friendly and helpful. I showed her my old prescription to quicken the process. My vision hadn’t changed much and I had only needed a new prescription to order more contact lenses.

I needed prescription sunglasses done within one day, Kenny was extremely helpful, promised that I’d have them on time and arranged special deliveries to their lab to make it happen!

Kenny is really sweet and the staff is always helpful. They remember me every time and the details of my account. They match any price I’ve found online for contacts, and they even hand-​delivered lenses to my door.

I came here to adjust /​straighten my existing frame. Kenny was very friendly and did not charge me. He was also very patient and adjusted the frame a few times to make sure I’m happy with the glasses.

I had the worst experience ever here! It took them three months to get my glasses done right and even now they are not quite right. However I am too exhausted to go back and deal with them anymore. The first time the glasses were made wrong so they had to be sent back to the lab. Then when I got them back, the strength was wrong so they had to be sent back again! When I finally got them back, the lens popped out the first day and cracked! So back to the store! This time I never got a call to say they were ready so when I called to find out where my glasses were, the manager was rude and unapologetic and said he had called and left me a message! Turns out he called someone else. I do not recommend this store at all and will never go back there again!

This review is regarding eye exams. My kids and I have been going here for yearly eye exams for three or four years. We have seen the same optometrist each time, and I find here to be very thorough. She is very good with patients of all ages and is good about answering all my questions. I would be happy to recommend her.

If I could give them no stars I would! I ran out of contacts and my prescription had run out. Since my office is right by this location I thought it would be perfect. I went in for the initial check of my eyes and I feel like I was rushed in and out right way. I didn’t have my former prescription so the Dr should have started from scratch. I let the Dr know I was seeing a little doubling in the contacts and she said it would go away when I wore them for a bit (–4.0 in both eyes). I went back in a second time and Dr gave me another pair (–4.5) that wasn’t any better and was told if they don’t work I would have to pay for a different type of consultation and the contacts would be more expensive. After two days of not seeing anything I called my last eye Dr to see what my old contact prescription was … My left eye was –3.75 and my right –3.5. Thankfully he had an opening and got me in right away. Now I can see!
I just called to cancel my follow up appointment and told them about the bad prescription. The guy on the phone asked me to hold one moment and hung up on me.
Bad Customer Service and Bad Prescription! Don’t go here!

This review is related to the Groupon offering that is currently running — $ 20 for $ 150 worth of eyeglasses. DON’T BUY IT… The selection of frames you can pick from is really small and very low quality. AND then, you still need to pay approximately $ 130 on top of the «$ 120» credit of the groupon so it’s a complete rip off.
Other than the sucky Groupon offering, this vendor is probably fine for frames though I didn’t bother checking the frames that were not part of the groupon. I needed a cheap second pair of frames to leave in my car — I think I’ll stick with Costco Optical for this next time.

They always did a good job. My entire family and I come here for our glasses. And its a reasonable price with in our budget. :)

I had a good experience here. I found a frame that I liked, and I got high index lenses with anti-​reflection coating. The service was quick and professional.
There were two minor issues, but both were fixed quickly and without fuss. I don’t expect prefection, so what counts is how the issues were dealt with, and Site for Sore Eyes did well.
Recommended.

Just came out of the store and I had a terrible experience. Customer service was pathetic, the person in charge was really arrogant and not helpful. I wanted to take advantage of a $ 130 credit from my insurance for sunglasses (no prescription), and when I asked to see sunglasses around that budget he said the minimum price was $ 190!!! $ 190 the cheapest sunglasses with no prescription and not even polarized, are you kidding me? Then I asked him if he would have may be some discontinued models, he said they never sell discontinued models. That was a flat lie: I bought some discontinued Oakley about 3 years ago for $ 90, at the exact same place.

As someone who’s dealt with vision problems their entire life I usually know what to expect from an optometrist. My prescription runs quite high and usually my contacts range around 100 per pair as a result. When I came here a rude male salesperson tried to bully me into buying four three month pairs per year instead of my usual one to decrease the effects of calcium deposits. (which makes sense) However he also wanted me to pay four times as much for it, which was unacceptable.
When I tried to get the optometrist to find a brand that makes annual lenses she told me after one appointment that she tried and she didn’t want to look for it again.
After I went back to my former optometrist I found that Site for Sore Eyes had inexplicably used far more of my insurance allowance than average on my appointment, and I was forced to pay for much of my new prescription out of pocket.
Avoid this place, it is stressful a waste of time and money.

I’ve bought three pair of glasses here. What led me to write is the awesome service I’ve gotten when I’ve had issues.
First, I had an issue where I dropped my glasses on the pavement and scratched them terribly. Even though I didn’t have a warranty, the store replaced my lenses at no charge. Then, I broke the frames, and they fixed those immediately. It’s great that they stand behind their products, I’m a big fan.

These guys were fantastic – I brought my bedridden Mom’s frames in with a popped out lens – she had another place look at it, put it back in, and it quickly came out again.
The optician said it was unfixable (which is why the lens came out in the first place). I told him my Mom is in a nursing home with little money – he said give him 15 minutes and he’d see what he could do. Fifteen minutes later, as promised, he had put her lenses in a *new* frame, and refused to let me pay for the frames!!! He said he likes to help out the elderly! I told him when my Mom needs new glasses, which will be soon, she’s coming to Site for Sore Eyes!
Can’t ask for anything nicer than this…
