This antique mall surprised me. It seemed a little sketchy from the outside, and didn’t look too big. Boy, was I wrong. The place was awesome… in fact, it could work as the definition of the kind of place I want to go to when I want to go antiquing. This place has it all. It doesn’t cater to one type of collector… it has big things and small things, cheap things and pricier things. I was impressed by how many«smalls» this place had… little, cheaper things… typically the kind of thing I’m after. Also, this place had tons of books and comics. After visiting this antique mall and coming out with a haul of ten books, two extremely cheap vintage Star Wars pieces, and two pairs of salt and pepper shakers, I can say that I’ll definitely be back… we’re including this in our antique ring for sure.

I always find stuff to buy when I come here. However, I’ve seen the same stuff recently in most of the booths, so I’m guessing not a huge turnover. I went back for some pink Pyrex and most of it was gone, but there was a new pink piece I picked up for a good price. Mostly has floral china w/gold rims though… old lady stuff.

Some of my most prized possessions come from this huge warehouse(my four-dollar snake belt, the Michael Jackson pony-beaded scarf). The aisles are usually dead(except for a few old couples — aww), so you’re free to roam for hours on your own. This place is gigantic, so you’ll need a free space in your day. They have everything from furniture, clothes, bric-à-brac, weird antique tools(weapons?), records, furbys, a huge Russ statue collection, Garfield memorabilia, and just stupid shit that no one should ever save. It’s all set up in separate booths, which is great because then you’ll start to have favorites and you can skip over all that other crap that people sell. Check out the vintage booth near the front — it’s a personal favorite of mine. And since most people in Muncie haven’t caught on to the place, most stuff stays untouched for days.
