We ordered on pizza from pizza king at 11:20pm and they said okay you can probably expect it sometime before 1am. Really?! 1.5 hours? That’s ridiculous.

The BESTPIZZA in the Midwest. Shayna is the manager of the McGalliard location and I personally watched as she busted her butt in the kitchen, during a very busy evening. Love this place!

Meh. Not impressed anymore. Maybe it was the shine of being new here when I first reviewed PK. But now, I think the food is just meh especially for the price. Go to Greek’s or Mancinos instead.

Good pizza but definitely not Greek’s. Price is a little high for the quality. Never could get use to the small crumble style sausage they use. It does not have the texture of sausage. But then again I guess I am spoiled on Greek’s Pizza in Muncie for quality and price.

When near the BSU campus and craving a road pie — I roll over to McGalliard or Bethel — both are predictable Pizza Kings. Just get a large Royal Feast, garlic cheese bread and leave perfectly satisfied, and you may even have leftovers — unless you just can’t get enough. It’s a standard, perfectly predictable. Very difficult to call their iteration a «Salad Bar» though. Service/Server can be spotty — and busy weekends near campus can be a little overwhelming.

Square pieces. Royale Feast. This Pizza King has the old telephones to order from. More importantly, they have a small, but adequate salad bar

Three words that you should say when you are in Pizza King is «Royal Feast, Please» it is the bomb… Be aware that some PK’s allow smoking in the restaurant, so that is my main reason for them only getting 4⁄5 stars. This in 2012 the rest of the world has banned smoking inside, when are you guys going to,

All my life, this has been the«go-to» pizza of choice for me and my family. Sure, we jump around a bit, but always come right back when you want that food that takes you back and always satisfies. Yes, it’s a bit more expensive than others. My favorites: classic pepperoni, and the classic Royal Feast. Tiny squares, big taste. Man, that got me hungry writing this. :)

I’m as «Muncie» as you can get, which means Pizza King is my favorite pizza in the whole world. I try pizzerias everywhere I go and I’ve never found anywhere I like as much as Pizza King. The McGalliard location has good service and the food is awesome. You’ll probably feel like you stepped into a 1970s pizzeria with plants by the windows and«now that’s what I call music» albums from the 1990s. They have Metallica’s «Black Album» and«Appetite for Destruction» on the juke too, so it’s not all bad. Aside from being conveniently located along with all the other restaurants on McGalliard, this Pizza King has a couple other nice features that you may appreciate. There is a Salad Bar, it isn’t fancy, but it is a Salad Bar. Secondly, they have both Pepsi and Coke. Which means this is the only location in town that Mt. Dew enthusiasts can enjoy their favorite soft drink with their meal. They also have cheap beer/wine if you are interested in that kind of thing. If you get breadsticks, order them half baked. The pizza is the reason everyone is fanatical about this place. I love the pepperoni and sausage, if you are unfamiliar you need to try the royal feast too. Basically this place is a Muncie staple. Get breadsticks, plenty of pizza, and some drinks and you’ll have a good time. Oh yeah, you get to place your order on a telephone from your table too. Neat, right?

Oh Pizza King, I weep for you! I’m just a girl from Hawaii visiting family and I hated your pizza at first… it was reminiscent of Totinos frozen party pizza… but then, you touched my lips for the 2nd time, 3rd time, 4th time, and now I can’t live without you!!! I don’t know if its your Royal Feast, your small squares, your edge-to-edge toppings, or if you just put something in there that made me addicted, but I want you, and I want you BAD! The next time I’m in Muncie, I will ring the King, and we will meet again. Smooches!

i had the pepperoni pizza. as stated in other reviews it is a diced/crumbled pepperoni which is okay. however, the crust was thin and obviously frozen. the sauce was plain and the cheese was flavorless. overall it was as good as those 99cent frozen pizzas from the supermarket. i will not return here.

Food: 4⁄5 Not a fan of the pizza, but the subs are truly awesome! Service: 4⁄5 You place your order by a phone from the table, I thought that was always neat

All toppings, thin crust. Finely diced veggies and crispy mouthfeel. Delicious buttery breadsticks(try half-baked or keep them lightly crunchy) with fake stadium-quality orange cheese, ranch, and/or dill butter. Dine-in, take out, delivery, either way, you always«ring the king.»(Restaurants come equipped with phones that direct you to the servers and you order without face-to-face human interaction.) I can’t wait to visit home just to get my mouth around some of this midwest white trash pizza. It really cannot be found anywhere else.
