If you are the owner of the property, GREAT. If you are the tenant, then BEWARE!!! Regardless of what they say, you will pay for normal wear and tear! Read your lease close, it is all there. We only called on them for major problems, like when their bootleg ceiling fans fell out of the ceiling in the middle of the night, or finding out we had no GFCI outlets near water sources, in the middle of a flood brought on by the improperly installed washing machine, multiple sewage backups, multiple instance of no heat in the middle of winter. And this was not a house in the ‘hood. While leasing their house, we took it upon ourselves to repair the property whenever possible, upgrading fixtures when their cheap apartment fixtures fell apart, repaired broken fencing, etc. They do not care, and as much told us just that. In fact, they told us they go into«every» transaction as if they were going to court. This is EXACTLY the advice I would give to anyone to leases with this company, especially. I completely agree with the poster who said to have a lawyer look over your lease. The terms are unreal! I regreat not having paid close attention before leasing with these people. Do not assume because you are a nice, quiet tenant who always pays on time that it will get you anywhere. Not to mention, the leasing agent is very rude and condescending. Definitely would not recommend! Thank GOD, we’re out of the leasing game.

Dedication and excellence are the first two words that come to mind with this team. I had the pleasure of meeting Suzanne several years back when my family was relocated to California. Remarkable Properties helped ease the transition and took control of our Texas home. Being 1400 miles away we had to rely heavily on them. They did an excellent job, managed the tenants, and buffered us from the worry of being so far away. Now, 5 years later, we are back home in Texas and selling our home. Suzanne and her team hit the streets for us to find the perfect home and sell our home. The process is not easy but having their expertise and dedication on your side makes it palatable. I agree this is the Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. I also pay on time etc… They do not respond to anything unless you hound them and the maintenance department is the worst. The owner of Remarkable actually asked me how I was measuring how hot it was in the house when the air conditioning was broken… So I took a picture of the thermostat and sent it to her… Really??? It took a week to get it fixed. If I could I would move tomorrow but I can’t afford to break the lease. Never rent/lease from this company and if you do have a Lawyer check out the lease before you sign it. But no matter what remember they have the Worst customer service.

Worst Property Manager I have ever dealt with. For 2 years we have paid on time and improved the property. They have not made any repairs and blamed us for break downs they caused by neglect. They even threatened to charge us for unneeded work requests when the air conditioner didn’t work in the 100 degree summers. Now that we have given notice, they are showing the property from 8am to 8pm 7 days a week. They are desperate to sell this broken down property they have not maintained… NEVER Rent a property that they manage… BEWARE Suzanne Athey RE/MAX Hi Net or Remarkable Property Management
