Pie Place Bagel & Bakery

Fantastic bagels, cream cheese and the open faced lox sandwich is devine. The establishment is clean, has friendly staff and they take phone orders which saves time.
Update: Hardly any lox today and staff just said it’s portioned; if it were portioned it would be uniform.

Went back today ordered the same thing I had last time and I must say it came out fast (there was no one here today lol) but either way it was good… they STILL have no fountain drinks it’s been 3 weeks that I know of I did notice that I’m paying almost $ 3 for a bagel with cream cheese and over $ 5 for a bacon egg and cheese bagel wow I never realised that (my own fault) if a drink was included that would be a decent price but then the water is $ 1.40 I’m really going to have to second guess myself the next time I come but definitely a better experience then last time

If I could give them zero stars, I would. First they let us order three fountain drinks without telling us that six of the drinks and one tea were all out. Next they brought us someone else’s sandwich. Then the cook came out to tell us they were all out of cheddar cheese (big surprise.) Then they brought out our three sandwiches. One was on the wrong kind of bread, which we decided to let slide. There was also no cheese. We went to the register to ask for cheese and the girl working the register handed us a slice of cheese in her bare hands, even though we gave her a napkin to put it in. I think the worst was we watched the girl at the register clean the bathroom sink and mirror without gloves, then put on gloves and clean the toilet and NEVER washed her hands and went right back to taking orders and handing out food… probably more barehanded cheese slices. Was this candid camera or the worst dining experience ever?

I hadn’t been here since they changed the name and ownership, but it’s still just as good as it has always been! I’m a huge bagel and cream cheese fan so when I find a place that has fresh delicious bagels I’m stay loyal! All the employees are always very friendly and helpful and the food comes out fresh, hot, and fast! Now I can’t wait to try one of their pies!

It’s a cute little bagel shop! I mean i took a while for my bagel but it was alright I was enjoying looking at all the items on the menu for my next visit! The workers seem pretty happy. The older lady which I think is also the owner was very nice and always had a smile on her face. And both girls seemed nice as one of them took my order and the other prepared my bagel.
If you’re here to enjoy your food then come here if you’re in a rush you’re going to be mad.

Hours suck. Not open early. Bagels never actually toasted when you order a toasted bagel. Is the toaster broken, like forever?
Decided to give them another try… I’m not sure why.
Every person who works here is perpetually depressed. No smiles, no polite greeting, no greeting at all. It takes everybody 10 times the time to do things that it would take a normal person. This place was empty and I ordered 2 bagels. It took 20 mins and when I got them they were cold and with 2 inches of cream cheese. I even ordered mine extra toasted because they have a hard time toasting bagels here and it was still freaking cold??? How do you fuck up bagels? Seriously? I will NEVER come here again.

It’s been over 6 months and I still can’t get a TOASTED bagel!!! Cream cheese was a bit on the heavy side. On a positive note I Ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches and they were really good… I’m a bit on the fence about returning.
advice to the owners… the returning customer base is there in hopes that you stay true to the great customer service and quality food that CITY BAGEL had… which may have been little pricier, but was definitely worth the couple extra dollars…
I haven’t tried anything g from the new menu but I’m hesitant to spend the money if the basics fall short on quality.
I’ll wait a couple more months to return and update review then, hopefully things get better!
Last thing… place still gets busy, so it is very wise to phone your order In… customer service was professional and friendly.

I come here often enough to say that it’s a great place to grab coffee and breakfast when you’re running late in the morning:)
The bagels seem fresh. I’ve had better bagels, but I can’t complain. It beats going to McDonalds and having a «fake» breakfast.
Customer service is okay. They’ve always been somewhat pleasant for the most part.

Clean, organized, cheap and good! Can’t really ask for more at a convenient «fast food» breakfast place. Everyone was courteous and professional. They have a huge bagel variety. Very similar to Einstein Bagel the chain restaurant/​bagel shop. Maybe a bit better because they have a more unique menu to choose from. Prices are reasonable. They charge .50 cents for debit or credit card use and do not accept large bills. Coffee is good! It’s not bad, at least not in my experience and it’s Saturday morning. It was busy but not packed. I’d say give it a try because the reviews are too mixed on this restaurant. I enjoyed it.

Only three stars for this little bakery that serves fresh breakfast sandwiches, fresh bagels with fresh cream cheese along with fresh coffee! I’m very surprised maybe if they had a drive thru for all the lazy people they would have a higher rating lol! This place is very yummy. Support small businesses!
