I had an EMG today with Dr. Boutros and his PA Krystle (I think that’s her name).
When I first walked in the office, it was nice and spacious. The front desk girls were nice. Checked me in, fast and simple! My wait time was about 15 mins. It gave me time to use the restroom which is located outside of the office and on the second floor.
Krystle called me in and she was very nice and personable. She basically electrocuted me lol and some parts of the test hurt like heck!!! But she calmed me down and pushed me through it.
Then I met Dr. Boutros! He was nice, great at explaining everything in detail and took his time. He performed the needle test on me and made sure I was comfortable which was important to me as I was super nervous for this test in general.
I’d recommend Dr. Boutros :)

I saw Dr. Boutros a few days ago. He was very nice and to the point. I will be having some testing done and then return for results and follow up. Yes, I did have long waits in the waiting room; then between the nurse who went over what I put on the work up sheet and took my blood pressure, the doctor’s P.A. (very nice gal) and seeing the doctor. I was there from 10:54a.m. until after 2p.m. Lots of magazines to look at but no music in the exam room. The staff was friendly and courteous to me. The office was a busy place. He seems like a fine doctor to me so far. I will return. I have been to two optometrist and two ophthalmologist and only the last one had viable thinking that my eye and facial pain was being caused from the facial nerve and not the eye.

After going to UCLA medical center, I found out Dr. boutros completely mis-​diagnosed my son. His lesions were NOT from falling; they were tuberous sclerosis. So not only are he and his staff unprofessional, he does not even know how to diagnose people.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Boutros and his associate since 2003. I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
As far as the staff goes when you have a good neurologist expect the staff to be busy.
Jennifer and Jenny are organized and do their best to be friendly. They are non stop on the phone and do their best. I think they are awesome.

I known Dr. Boutros for over 15 years and I have never ever treated someone as BAd as JENNIFER DOES. I called the doctor several times since the medication he was prescribing for my daughter who suffer from epilepsy wasn’t working and I never got a response from the doctor, she just keep avoiding me and not letting the doctor that I called a few times after my daughter had a seizure because the doctor did not even called back in two separate occasions. Also the wait time we had to an appointment there at 2:30 pm with Dr. Boutros and after seating in the waiting room until 5:00 pm yes 2 hours and 15 minutes we were called back and saw a PA instead of Dr. Boutros who we had the appointment. Jennifer is very rude and I truly believe she doesn’t give the messages to the Dr. With all this said I don’t trust him to take care of my daughter and will not recommend to take a love one there at all. I got a new doctor for my daughter and is not in Temecula or Murrieta but if I need to travel to have my daughter receive proper care so be it.
AVOID JENNIFER at all cost..

This is the WORST Doctor’s office I’ve ever visited. The PA is horrible and the doctor is not any better. The front office I have to say is friendly. I could hear the doctor yelling at his staff telling them that he is «sick of them… do you hear me… I’m sick of you. When he entered my exam room he looked at me and said, why are you here. I told him I was waiting on my results from my Spinal Tap. He stormed out and was not prepared for my visit at all. I had to visit 4 times over the course of 6 months before I finally got my proper diagnosis. His PA ordered me an unnecessary MRI and when I demanded to see the results of my original MRI (which showed that I had MS), she told me that the laptop was being used for another patient and that I would have to come back when I had the second MRI… which was 45 days later. WTH? I demanded to have my results read from my first MRI as I wanted to know what was going o with my health. She huffed off to get a laptop. When she finally brought it in, she quickly scanned through the MRI and said, you know that you could have pulled these up and reviewed them yourself. I was dumfounded. I’m not skilled to read MRI results nor do I have the computer capability. PLUS, THIS IS WHY I HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE. I have been visiting his office since last September in 2015. We are now in February 2016 AND STILL NO MEDICATION OR RELIEF FOR MY MS. This doctor has kept me ill for going on 6 months now. I WILL NEVER SEE HIM AGAIN. Run… from this office as fast as you can. I heard that Dr. Alvarez is great. I’ll be changing my provider and my primary so that I can see that Doctor.

My mom went to this doctor and had a 2 hour wait, I felt bad for her friend that drove her, once she got in and saw the doctor (which the first few times she only got to see his assistant) she said he had the worst bed side manners, and was unbelievably rude and disrespectful, he was so bad that my mom who doesn’t use bad words used some then said she didn’t want to talk about it anymore. Looking through all these bad reviews I hope no one else goes here, or maybe a medical review needs to be made on him.

Dump the P.A. Doc. She’s not earning you any business, in fact, she misdiagnosed my father’s conditions twice and prescribed the wrong meds.

I have gone there three times and the entire staff is awful! I had a life threatening experience and they do not care about any patients. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. I saw the P.A. and she was horrible. STAY AWAY!

Went to them for years not knowing any different. Then He added Dr’s. One of them admitted me to UCI, and found he was over doseing me, and not following up. I got married, he walked in not looking up congratulating me, then said «Would WTF! YER FAT! WHAT HAPPENED? Poor Guy you marry and get FAT, FXCK, GROSS. Well I had gotten stage 4 cancer, and got fat not skinny. His Staff, Rude! Except for 1 chicky in the back… Bookkeeper. I was having 10 + seizures a day, he told me it was all in my head, Duhhhh

I’m going to try to not go into a ton of details about how badly my case was miss handled by Dr. Boutros office, but it’s a nightmare! From being treated like dirt by the front office staff (ESPECIALLY JENNIFER), to having a majority of my personal info and medical history being written down totally wrong, to having my records withheld from me to cover up their mistakes, to being completely misdiagnosed with at least one terrible disease that caused me to lose my license (which I’m still fighting to get back after 7 months) and possibly being misdiagnosed with a second terrible disease (which I’m still waiting on further testing from a new doctor to be done to determine whether Dr Boutros was wrong on that one as well)…and if all that wasn’t bad enough, I was also being prescribed strong & dangerous medicines for both illnesses without the Dr. bothering to follow through to make sure I actually had either one of these diseases! I feel lucky to be alive and I think instead of all of us sharing our horror stories to eachother about the deplorable level of care that we have received from this office, I think we need to band together and do something about it! First you need to call your insurance carriers whether it be iehp, med-​ical or someone else & file a formal complaint or grievance about this facility. You can also call the state board and file a complaint and maybe even the Better Business Bureau. For those of you out there like me, that have been physically & financially harmed by their incompetence, I suggest you speak to a lawyer… These people need to be stopped before they kill someone

I went there once. The front office staff was nice and friendly. I thought I had scheduled with the doctor and instead they gave me the P.A. The P.A. had horrible bedside manner. She treated me like crap on her shoes. It was awful. She was angry with me because I wasn’t answering her fast enough and gave me a snotty look when I couldn’t use a pen to take notes and instead was typing on an iPad using only two fingers.
After a 40-​minute examination she didn’t retain anything I had told her and was instructing me to go take additional tests, etc. When I responded and let her know that those had already been done and I had the reports here with me she was dismissive and told me to, «just go do them again,» and waved her hand in the air like she was dismissing a servant. I left there in tears. This woman should not be practicing medicine at all never mind neurology. What kind of neologist becomes angry with a patient suffering from neurological symptoms?
I will never go back.

Worst Doctor/​Doctors Office Ever! Horrible Staff — rude and basically useless with their attitude. Un-​eager to help or do anything. Getting an appointment (as an established patient) is like pulling teeth. The PA there doesn’t even smile. If they hate working there so much — QUIT!!! And this doctor has the personality of a rock. We sat in the room for over an hour waiting for the doctor, while he was next door in his office on the phone with some tech support. Come on, you have patients, and a rude staff, let them do that type of work. Switching doctors and will spread the word on horrendous this office is.

Unable to speak to the competence of the doctor, since we never saw him in the two visits made over a three month delayed period. My wife is unable to walk, yet the staff unilaterally and without concern for her having to be driven in a wheel chair van for 60 miles arranged for a series of MRIs to be done near their office. I contacted them and asked for assistance in changing the venue of the imaging center and was brushed off with, «You’ll have to do that yourself.» Which I did, getting the center just down the street from her nursing home to accept the order. The office had scheduled a followup appointment on the same day the MRIs were to be done, but refused to respond to a number of calls I made asking for rescheduling. Eventually I had to enlist the help of a senior staff member at the nursing home, who said she wasn’t contacted until after a half-​dozen calls. The appointment given was too early in the morning to be met, considering the 60 mile trip to their office in a chair-​accessible van; it took pleading with the office to change the time to early afternoon. We arrived early, my wife in a hospital gown and catheter bag in plain sight, humiliating enough, but then we had to wait in the public outer lobby for over an hour with her voicing pain from the long time having to sit in the chair; finally ushered into an exam room, where the afore-​mentioned Jennifer abruptly took her vitals and asked her three questions: height, weight, and husband’s name (perhaps this is some cue to her mental capacity?) She left and we waited nearly another hour with wife’s pain increasing steadily, no one checking on her, and I finally wheeled her out of the exam room and into the lobby, demanding return of my co-​pay since nothing had been done except to exacerbate wife’s pain and condition. This they did comply with, reluctantly, but stated they were going to shred her paperwork, apparently in retaliation. One of the staff apparently realized this was not proper and did meet us in the outer hallway with the paperwork, but remarked that the medical group would be advised of my bad attitude. Today we received a certified letter signed by Dr. Boutros stating that his entire NeuroCenter physicians and providers would no longer be available to my wife due to our actions; I’m sure he was provided with a completely slanted version of the events that exonerates his surly and inconsiderate staff from any wrongdoing. It matters not, since my wife has already stated she will not accept any further abuse from this doctor’s staff and we have notified her house doctor to arrange for a closer and more cooperative neuro consult. I have been considering a formal complaint to the medical group, which will probably accomplish nothing… but bad behavior requires notice.

GREAT DOCTOR, HORRIBLE STAFF SERVICE. If you want a good neurologist, Dr. Boutros will fit the bill. HOWEVER, there is a staff member named JENNIFER who is horrible. She is always rude on the phone. ALWAYS. She’s on a power trip. And this is from someone with 2 family members who have used Dr. Boutros for many years. I’ve had to deal with her for years and it is always a negative experience. She isn’t just rude, but she refuses to give the doctor messages or transfer you to him, regardless of how urgent the matter is, she randomly refuses refills for life saving neuro medications, WITHOUT CALLING TO WARN YOU SO YOU CAN TAKE STEPS TO MAKE SURE YOUR FAMILY MEMBER ALWAYS HAS THE NEURO MEDICATION THEY NEED. We’re not talking about ADHD meds, these are meds that correct imbalances necessary to survive, and can cause horrible side effects or death if stopped suddenly. When an MRI came back normal, she tried sending us home without letting us in for our apt to talk to the doctor about our family member’s symptoms. It took me following her down the hall shouting all the reasons why we had a right to this apt and listing the symptoms and the doctor hearing me to get this person in. Once we did see Dr. Boutros, he was great, diagnosed the condition perfectly, the medication he prescribed worked wonderfully, most likely saved their life. A year later, we had all the other issues with her. When we finally saw the doctor, she had already made sure to tell him a different version of the stories than what actually happened (very manipulative) and had stonewalled us from speaking to the doctor over the phone. We tried to talk to him in person about these issues, and he really didn’t want to hear it. He was convinced she did nothing wrong, and nothing was done. I wish he knew how much money and patients she costs his practice every year. My other family member has the exact same issues with her. She never acts like that to your face, either. All the other staff members are nice, wish we could always exclusively deal with them.

Dr Boutros is the rudest and most arrogant Neurologist I’ve ever visited. His staff was so unfriendly and the wait times are unheard of. I had another Doctor who was familiar with him even gasp and make similar comments after seeing he was my neurologist at the moment. During one visit, patient complaint letters surfaced the lobby. If this is a known issue, why is he even still in practice?

This is the worst excuse for a human being I have ever had the displeasure to know. I was referred the first time to him by my primary care physician. I made an appointment to see him and was handed off to the PA who is being trained under him. Terrible appointment and said I would never go back. The PA wanted lab work and x-​rays’. I told her that she didn’t have to worry because I was never coming back. His office staff called me a week or two later and asked me if I had done the blood and x-​rays’ and I told them no, they wanted to make me an appointment to see the Dr himself. I replied that I was not going to have the tests and not to call me anymore I was once again referred to his office for a nerve test. The girl that gave me the test explained everything she did before she did it. Sweetest thing and you can tell she loves her job. I went in for this test on September 3, 2014. I was scheduled for surgery with Dr. Tooma on my wrist on September 11, 2014. I was at the outpatient surgery center when my Dr Tooma called and asked if the results were done and was told not yet. I called Dr. Tooma’s office and asked when they were going to schedule surgery and this was September 23, 2014. They told me I had to call Dr. Boutros office and find out was they had not received the results of my test. The office staff Jennifer at Dr stated that they had called me at home 2 days ago to schedule the Secord half of the nerve test because Boutros wanted another test, which was not on my answering machine. I went ahead and went to the appointment on September 24, 2014 at 12:30 PM. I waited for 40 minutes and was then called in. The girl that took me back to the exam room told me that Dr Boutros was going to give me the test. He came in and said my name if Dr. Boutros and started to put a large magnet type thing on my hand and put on a glove. He asked me if I ever had numbness in my hands, if I had pain and where then told me to hold up my sleeve. He started stabbing me in my right arm with this 2 ½ to 3 inch needle. The pain was so bad I could not hold back the tears. A few times I let out a loud ouch and he told me not to scream that he could not take it. He is an unfeeling jerk. I can take a lot of pain but I this asshole should not practice on human beings. He is the worse excuse for a Dr. He is not a Dr. in the true since of the word. This is not a patient friendly Doctor to go for health care services. I will NOT be back to this jerk, and let my primary care physician know about my poor experience. I would never refer him to anyone. The review on this staff and Dr. is true, please read it and take it to heart.

My wife recently had an MRI in which they detected a pituitary adenoma. Her physician referred us to Dr. Boutros. I’ll say this: If their phone interactions are any indication of how this office – and I’m using the term loosely here – «functions,» then I’d do my best to avoid this place. We had several interactions with a very surly individual over the phone, who ultimately told us that Dr. Boutros «wouldn’t touch our case,» without any clear indication of why or why not, just the same surly person stonewalling us on everything. We’ll definitely be seeing someone else.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with most other reviews. I took my teenage daughter there to see Dr. Boutros recently. Right off the bat, the front office staff doesn’t smile or look happy to be there. They are very cold and abrupt. Not a good first impression, especially coming from the Front office. Dr Boutros was kind and thorough for the most part. He ordered an MRI. After waiting over a month for a follow-​up, we go in and the front office staff is once again unfriendly and do not look like they enjoy working with people. Then, instead of seeing the doctor, we see the Physician Assistant for the results and what medicine she will be on! Dr Boutros was there as I saw him. The PA was nice but could not answer some of my questions. To add insult to injury, I ask her if they could please show us the areas of concern on my daughter’s MRI. She looked at me like I asked a foreign question and then said flatly «No, I can’t do that». She didn’t even OFFER to have the Doctor show us! Sadly, we will NOT be back to them and I will let my daughters Primary Doctor know about our poor experience. I would never refer them to anyone.

The worst and liziest Dr I HAVE ever seen and meet. He NEVER once concerened him self with my issues I came in for. ANd not only that he used his own cell phon twice when I was in there. When there is a very LARGE SIGN to not use them. Long story short Im still in major pain and he did not take one look at the issue and made a 3 moth follow up… Yeah right… What a loser. Never going to see, And I agree 100% with the other people that wrote reviews here…
