it is a total SHAME make sure you ask for a sample of the crust or outside layer, I had the seller who said he use to live in New York a tall black man, Oh boy did he take me for a ride was he a great UPSELLER buy 2 get 3rd free, buy 1 and get next free, and buy 1 get next free for everyone you buy after that… but when he gave me a sample he took it from the soft fresh inside I spent over $ 90 bought it for the stewardess’s on the plane from myrtle beach to Atlanta & the stewardess’s from Atlanta to Newark telling them how it melts like butter on your tongue only to get home and find out the STALEFUDGE they pawn off to foolish tourist LIKEMEGOD I bought for my mom, my in-laws my children’s teachers I’m ashamed to give it to them I bought 6 chocolate 4 chocolate with nuts 2 chocolate peanut butter now I stuck with all this GARBAGE I’m super pissed right now, and they say it stays fresh 6 to 8 months in the freezer BULL I SAY Shame on this store if it’s STALETHROW-IT out, selling it is no way to do business really

The terrific personality of the staff members and the atmosphere they create is what earned them the decent rating. They were singing as we entered, giving free samples, joking with the customers. Very entertaining. I got a slice of the peanut butter fudge and it seemed a little old. It had the crusty texture around the edges that fudge gets after a week or so. As I wrote in a tip, I would get their top seller if you’re there during«off tourist season.» Also felt the price was a little steep. $ 7.99 for ½ lb. At home I can get better fudge for $ 9.99. I realize it’s pretty much a tourist center, but there’s no need to take advantage.

OK seriously? What an awesome place! First off it smells like willy wonka HEAVEN and the staff was singing during our visit… what?! They even do a hilarious Fudge show which made me feel like a kid again! Cheery atmosphere, and decent pricing. We got 4 different kinds of fudge and got to sample first. A must go to for fudge lovers, great experience.

One word: YUM! Tried the Rocky Road and also the chocolate peanut butter as a Tanger Outlet location. Decadent, flavorful, melt — in — your — mouth fudge. The best!

The staff were full of energy and singing which ended up being the best part of our experience. Upon walking in they give you a sample and you can see how they make the fudge(really interesting)!! Unfortunately we picked the peanut butter fudge and we weren’t impressed. It was $ 8 for a chunk of bland flavored fudge. :(

DELICIOUS fudge and the employees put on a «fudge show». The employees were funny and very interactive with the crowd and I really had a great time in there. All in all spent $ 100 on fudges! The guy behind the counter was HILARIOUS, his nickname is «extraordinary chocolate»

I never thought I would laugh so much in a fudge shop. While down in Myrtle Beach on vacation with my family, we had a hankering for fudge. Thanks to Unilocal,we found this place and drove on over. Immediately upon entering, the sweet chocolate smell hit my nose and I was intoxicated. The guy behind the counter gave us a sample of their«extraordinary chocolate» and that was all we needed. We knew right then and there that we were buying some fudge. But then he told us to hang on because the fudge show was about to start. Fudge show? My ears immediately perked up and I looked around the shop and noticed a small fenced area and behind it, a slab of marble with a big pile of chocolate on top. If there were small children in the store, I’m sure I would’ve pushed them out of my way to be first in line to see the fudge show. The two employees put on a hilarious show which consisted of joke telling, singing, and a lot of fudge turning. They kept us laughing and involved in the show and at the end handed out a small sample of the still warm fudge that he had been turning on the table.(Sidenote, my absolute favorite joke of the day was when he was talking about his table made of gorgeous Georgia marble. He then asked the crowd«Where did my marble come from?» We loudly replied«Georgia!» to which he replied«no, it came from the Lowe’s down the street») The price of the fudge was around $ 7 per slice, and each slice weighed around a half a pound, which is a little high but the quality of the fudge is what makes it worth it. We spent quite a lot of money inside the Fudgery that day, but it was money well spent in my opinion.

HALLELUJAH!!! Love how this place is set up like an ice cream shop! They have an assortment of fudge that they sell and you’re allowed to sample bites of everything before buying, it’s absolutely awesome! It’s been a week since we were there so I actually cannot remember the flavor that I ended up buying, but I know I sampled atleast five different types of fudge. The chocolate peanut butter, creamy vanilla, rocky road and chocolate nut were all good. I think I ended up with the chocolate nut. Whatever I bought was sugarlicious and I ate up the whole thing! Heads up that there is a half pound minimum and it’s not cheap, I think I shelled out over $ 7, but it’s a nice occasional splurge.

Like most ice cream/candy shops and roasted nut stands, this place smelled AMAZING… the smell coupled with the obvious gathering of crowd and the employees singing caused us to gravitate inside. You can watch the employees mixing up the fudge(live!), and get samples of almost everything(yum!)…which is what we did. Everything was soo delicious and fresh. I’ve had hard fudge, dry fudge, bad fudge… this fudge was creamy and on-point!

Aside from being expensive, this place is awesome. I love the«show» that the staff put on, I think they are charming and hilarious. I can’t help but crack a smile, even after I’ve passed by the Fudgery several times and been asked if I want«FREEFUDGE» 20 times already that day. The fudge is very very good. I find it expensive, though I know they have good deals if you buy a few slabs at once. Who can really eat all that fudge though? I don’t know about you, but after a few bites I am good for the rest of the year.

Walking along Broadway at the Beach, I noticed a crowd of people gathered inside of The Fudgery, all excited, screaming and chanting for fudge. Being the leader that I am, I stepped into the business and also began to chant. «How many people want free fudge? If you want free fudge put your right hand over your heart and repeat after me, if everybody doesn’t do it, then nobody gets free fudge.» I quickly placed my hand over my heart, and repeated a pledge, promising never to eat Little Debbie items, M & M’s, snickers, or any other mass produced candies. «The louder the audience, the more fudge we’re going to give out. Do you want free fudge, let me hear you say Oh Yeah!» OHYEAH!!! I yelled out, sounding like a nine year old. I believed the fudge man, he had charisma, he sounded honest. I was so pumped. Here I am, thinking that I will be feasting on free fudge as a reward for all of my audience participation. But after 20 minutes of extreme fudge-pounding action, I received only a taster sized spoon with a hint of fudge in it. I had been duped. It turns out, all of this chanting and yelling was part of a massive plan to raise interest in fudge in order to make a sale. Here’s where the real free fudge comes in; The man made an offer; for the next 20 minutes only, all fudge would be «buy 2 bars, get one free» Then, all of the employees sang a song about fudge, and guilt tripped anyone who walked away without buying. The whole production is repeated every hour. The fudge was… excellent.
