I’ve been wearing eyeglasses since I was a child, and Dr. Rubin is my favorite optometrist so far. I’ve had all kinds of optometrists — the bubbly but overbearing doctor, the stiff but efficient doctor, the one who only has time to look at your info after the assistant did all the tests… Dr Rubin is the best of these doctors — he is quick, efficient, friendly, and really knowledgeable — he has the latest techniques and machines, he does the full exam himself (no puff-​of-​air machine, btw!). Most importantly, Dr. Rubin is honest about how my eyes have changed in the past year and whether changing my glasses or contacts is essential or good-​if-​i-​can, which is so helpful since my prescription is costly.
