Worst sushi and customer service EVER! Asked to speak to the owner who was right in the front and she claimed she was too busy to speak with us!!! Meanwhile the restaurant was empty, DONOTGOTOTHISRESTAURANT, waste of calories and time. I highly recommend Bada Sushi in Suffern NY, high quality fish and BEST customer service.

For your own sake do not go here. This restaurant used to be relatively good once upon a time. Just had dinner there the other day, and not one aspect of it was mediocre. The food was not fresh and most of the waiters seemed irritable and rude. If you want good sushi and or Japanese food in general go either to Wasabi, or New City Sushi.

Best sashimi in Rockland County by far. The food is incredibly fresh. Great list of cocktails and large selection of saki. The best Blue Point Oysters I’ve ever eaten. Try the grilled squid.

First time here and as an avid sushi eater our family enjoyed it tremendously!!! They were even nice enough to accommodate our off menu request and made another dish special due to food allergies. Service was cordial and paced the meal perfectly! Drinks were good! I definitely recommend you try them!!!

Only place we go for sushi! Always fresh and great service… Friendly staff. Love the steamed gyoza! We have been going here 7 years, and it’s always consistent which is a rare find these days.

Disappointed with the quality of the sushi. Not a large atmosphere either. I was very surprised because everyone in Rockland raves about this sushi restaurant.

the place is awkwardly located, very fresh, but pricey. I recommend the beef teriyaki, philly rolls, ginger pork dish, and the shiitake mushroom soup. the rolls are quite expensive, I’d suggest East in the palisades mall to sample.

This place is great, the sushi is fresh and delicious. It gets very packed on weekend nights and can be loud. The staff is great though and very attentive. The menu has a lot of options to choose from, I would stick to Japanese food though the others aren’t bad, but Japanese is their specialty.

Best sushi ever. Food is sooooooo good!!! I’ve been going for years and although it doesn’t have a real hibachi experience the food is just great

The food here is really good! I came here with my sister in law and the food is very fresh and great tasting. The food also comes super fast! I asked if they could do brown rice on the sushi and they said yes of course no charge. I really appreciated them trying to accommodate every dietary need as they have a low carb section of the menu too. A little pricey but nothing too crazy and I don’t mind paying if the food and service is good.

Food’s ok, not more, nor less. Their cucumber rolls(naruto) are interesting, but nothing was exceptional, The staff is very friendly. The place seems traditional Japanese infused with some modern items like a small bar(and Jazz/Pop playing in the background is interesting).

I am a big fan of the Crystal Roll. The other rolls are fresh, and inviting. Large dining area, and I’ve never had to wait for a table. Visited over 15 times.

Great food. Little bit of a wait but well worth it. Staff was very accommodating and made sure we were happy. A great place to eat in Nanuet. Owner here and walking around to be sure people are happy.

Decent food but somewhat pricey. But then again, sushi is expensive in most places. Friendly service, clean locale. I had the yaki ramen beef, which was decent but was made with what tasted to be standard packaged ramen(somewhat disappointing, but still good). Lychee martini was good and strong.

Excellent dinner! I dined alone(single female) and was quite comfortable. I needed to ask for the sake menu and was pleasantly surprised. Not many by the glass but the one I had was excellent. Started with the calamari salad which was okay. Had wanted to start with a tempura app but that came out with my sushi roll. Both were very good.

Great sushi starts with fresh fish. However, the rice has to be just right. Not too dry or crumbly. Sakana sushi is always prepared perfectly!

Pros: huge creative menu — a lot of different cultures here(the couple next to me ordered Pad Thai…) so if you want some modern fusion stuff, come here. Food is tasty and fish is fresh. Cons: it’s pricey. I came by myself and ordered a seaweed salad, sashimi appetizer, and one roll and it came to $ 32.50 before tip. The roll I ordered was a naruto roll(no rice, it’s wrapped in cucumber instead), which was very tasty but it was SOBIG. I am a pretty skilled chopstick user and this just did not want to be picked up, nor could I fit it in my mouth. It was definitely three bites worth for each piece, which meant it fell apart terribly. I’ve had naruto rolls before and they’re not the easiest to eat, but this was ridiculous.
