A dive bar for sure so don’t go if your not a fan of that type of atmosphere. That being said we loved it! Great bartender very attentive and personable and the beer /alcohol isn’t outrageously priced unlike many other places in the area. They don’t serve food so don’t go hungry but it’s worth a stop. They also have a pool table.

Well now. First and foremost, this ain’t no restaurant. It’s a bar. Somewhere deep in the magical bowels of the Internets, some electrons or wires got crossed. The«menu» that we regulars have been laughing about for years, seems to originate from a similar name outfit in Mobile Alabama. But there’s no arguing with the Internets, or Unilocal either. What we have here, folks, is a failure to…what we have here is a bar. It’s an ancient local haunt with specters and stories; was once Fuchshole(«Foxhole»), Patrick’s(I believe he was extradited), The Laurel for a long time, and potentially The Broken Prop long before that… Four kinds of domestic tap beer… PBR along with Bud, Coors Light, and Bud Light. A selection of bottled beer including a gluten-free brand that no one is brave enough to try. A reasonable selection of common whiskey, vodkas, and a few esoteric and/or top shelf items that come in and out of vogue. A pool table that is quite flat and still costs only 4 quarters. A «kitchen» that consists of a vending machine with various flavors of cheezy poofs and mixed nuts. You can’t get a bad meal here. Or a good one. You can’t get a daiquiri, or a fancy trendy shot. Mixed drinks are 6 bucks for anything up to three ingredients, but ice is considered an ingredient. That forth ingredient will cost you $ 23.95 according to the night bartender… basically, this is a beer and shot bar, nothing more. The bartenders are female by day, and male at night. The locals are fun and tolerant albeit loud, and the craic is usually pretty good on weekends, even though it’s not an Irish bar. Folks here are friendly, and usually fairly lubricated. There is no dress code, and there are no *particular* nights that are designated topless… A nice local GINMILL, with the same attitude, décor, and spirits from an era when people actually drank gin.
