Batteries Plus

I cracked my Iphone6 screen. I have the Verizon Insurance through Asurion but it was going to cost $ 200 for a replacement and i would be without my phone for a day or 2. I did reseach and learned Batteries Plus can repair the screen for only $ 129.00. So I made appointment on line and got a $ 10 off coupon and they had it fixed within an hour. I am very pleased with the service the person explained that they stand behind their work and if I had problems to bring it back in and they will fix! Very happy!

I came on One Sunday at 4:30 pm and the lady
Helping us was rude and not helpful at all .
We came here for a battery for my wife’s watch
And she didn’t even said thank you after we paid
Working on Sunday night I know could be depressing sometimes but come on!

I bought a sealed marine battery for $ 300 in December 2013 for use with my Basement Watchdog battery backup sump pump. The battery came with a 24-​month warranty. Fast forward 18 months, and the battery dies (discharged, will not charge). I took it back to Batteries Plus, and they gave me fairy tales about how it could have been my Watchdog or it could have been this or it could have been that; basically any excuse except that their battery failed during the warranty period. I escalated to the store owner and he gave me the same song and dance, refusing to honor the warranty. Stay away from this store and this company, they are dishonest and will not honor their warranties.

The 2 people working there today, 6÷23÷15 were much more interested in each other than the customers. Actually, that isn’t entirely true because the female employee flirted with a customer for 8 minute while I stood in line and watched the male employee take several phone calls before waiting on me. When he finally deemed that it was my turn, he couldn’t figure out how to open my watch to put in a new battery or whether it was lifetime warranty, or not. The female employee helped him with this dilemna so he could, finally ring me up. I bought 2 items along with getting my watched battery changed. I paid with a debit card and he gave me a receipt while my 2 items sat on the counter. After I stood there for several seconds, he asked me if I wanted a bag and only put 1 of the items in the bag. When I pointed at the second item, and the watch, he held the bag open and said «der». Oh yeah, he was, sort of, dancing to the music that was playing in the store the entire time. Usually, the service at this store has been excellent and they always try to sell you something that is on sale or would go with the items that you bought but not today. I will go back because I don’t think these 2 people will be there too long.

My key fob battery was going out after three years of owning the car. My coworkers suggested batteries plus. I went there and for 11.00 they changed my key fob battery. Three months later my key fob starts acting up, so i think that i just changed my key fob battery, must be something wrong with my car. Before taking the car in i go to walgreens, buy a new battery for 5.99, just on the off chance it could be the battery. It turns out the battery was out, the battery they gave me only lasted 3 months. Apparently they charge an extra 5.00 to change it for you. What a rip off.

Brought in a watch (moderate priced Seiko) they promised no problem, did not ask anything about the watch, just took it from me to an area where I could see what he was doing with the watch. He struggled to get the back off from what I could tell, and instead of stopping and admitting he did not have the correct tool he scratched up the back of the watch, and then acted like nothing happened, and he did not acknowledge he made a gouge on the stainless steel back (case) and worse, made no effort to fix or make the situation right. of course no apology and I am sure he was hoping that since they were busy, it was a Saturday, I would just be pushed away and out by other customers.
Beware, do not take your watch to this place. All Batteries Plus are not the same, some are awesome (Awesome is on Kirk Rd. Aurora where they actually discussed the situation and were replace the battery, had the correct tool, and were super nice people over all!)
Stay away from Ogden Ave Store if you value your watch, no matter how much the watch is worth. Very poor customer service, felt bad when I left. Thank God the other store in Aurora is owned by a caring person and I went there next…

I’ve bought a number of Rechargeable batteries here, a higher end charger and have my alkaline batteries recycled here for free. I’ve always been pleased. Staff is knowledgeable and they’ve been helpful to me. The store is always clean. It seems like a well run business. I asked the staff who owned it. It’s a franchise. The owner is a local resident. I like that.

Did you know Batteries Plus sells car batteries?
Yep. They do. I assumed this was the place you go to get over-​priced cell phone replacement batteries or weird watch batteries, but no.
I went to the MINI Cooper owner’s message board to get recommendations for an inexpensive place to find a new battery to fit my Cooper. After 6 years running on the original, I knew it was only a matter of time before this one went dead. MINI’s are fun but strange little cars and you have to be pretty careful about the battery fit. So, I was pleasantly surprised to get a recommendation on the board for Batteries Plus. I had no idea they sold car batteries.
I called the store, and the very helpful guy on the phone found the exact battery I needed (the one that would actually fit the weird MINI dimensions) and it was a decent price. Definitely on par with the price of all the other shops that sold car batteries.
I didn’t get the chance to go in right away to get the battery, but when I called a couple of weeks later, the guy remembered me, confirmed they still had the battery I needed and we went right over to the shop.
Installation took about 10 minutes. I paid, we left.
Seriously easy.
And the guys working were very polite and helpful. Fantastic service over all. Definitely recommend for car batteries and more.

Awesome service… some men may lose themselves in here cause of cool stuff… I myself came here to ask about a phone battery and spent 30 bucks on stuff.
Customer interaction (i really need to remember names.) was great… coordial and friendly. And the phone skills were very thoughful and showed he gave a damn about the customer.

Great local find! I needed to find a bunch of batteries for my home phones that are discontinued and getting hard to find replacements! At the cost of the batteries at other places I may as well just buy whole new units and forget the batteries, unless the units are no longer made! Well this was a great find, cheaper batteries! New concept! Thank you, I found a bunch of NEW batteries for about half the price! I am going to have to check this place out next time I need a new laptop battery! I guess they sell light bulbs as well. I might have to see if they have my Dad’s old projector light bulbs. He’d be so-​o excited!
