These guys are great! I just recently became aware of this floral shop and they are great to work with. I’ve used them for a couple of events over the past 3 months. The arrangements were beautiful and were delivered on time. What I found amazing was how long the arrangements lasted. After 12 days they still looked good. I’ve bought arrangements from other places that only lasted 4 or 5 days.

Completely lazy with irresponsible business practices. I ordered a same-day delivery arrangement in the morning, and by 7:15 pm, hadn’t heard anything from the recipient. I called Dave’s to be sure the delivery had been made, and his response was«oh, well we called to see if she was home but she didn’t call us back» so they didn’t deliver. They didn’t try once all day! The florist is 15 – 20 minutes away. How lazy can you be? Who calls first to confirm a floral delivery? I have never heard of such a thing. I asked Dave’s why they didn’t bother to call me to let me know they needed to hear from someone(the recipient was literally home all day and simply away from the phone), and the response was«oh…» What a joke, what a disappointment. Needless to say, the recipient never did receive the flowers, and I will never call Dave’s again…

First they need to put an option to where you can rate a business with negative stars. I do not write many reviews on businesses but this one specially deserves my attention and time. For Valentine’s Day this year I placed an order through FTD for 3 separate orders so my fiancé would receive flowers through the day. The delivery was to be delivered to her office and the first 2 made it there flawlessly from Pesche’s Floral in Des Plaines so thank you very much from keeping the day from turning into a total disaster. But then comes the time for a delivery from Dave’s Floral or I should say the lack there or. The delivery man was courteous and apologized on a message late that night that he was not able to make it so my fiancé called to business the next day and was greeted by a woman who claimed to be Laurie with a barrage or rudeness. Unacceptable and the unprofessionalism deserves more notice than the one comment posted here on this form. My advice is that if you want to be treated professionally like the customer that you are spending your time and money to deal with an order to look elsewhere. I will be contacting FTD and also filing my complaint and requesting some sort of repercussion for such an intolerable way of handling ones business…
