I don’t really understand this store or why someone wouldn’t just go to Target, Meijer, Walmart, or Borders. Those stores are much better and cheaper and within walking distance.
My bf and I came here hoping for some good deals and found nothing of the sort. The stuff was actually more expensive than the stores I listed above and the selection was juvenile at best.
My bf and I left thinking that we could have more stuff we wanted to buy at the stores neighbor store, Babies R Us… and we HATE children.

This store… is bizarre. It’s a store for an online site, so I suppose that’s to be expected. The store is littered with ads for the website, touting their «free shipping» and «great selection». Which is awesome, sure.
But then you realize you’re not at home on your computer… this isn’t the internet… and the selection’s not as great here as it probably is online.
And then you wonder, «Why am I here? I could be at home, in my pajamas, viewing a much better selection… and not even have to pay shipping to have it sent right to my door…» And by the time you finish all of that, you’re hopefully already on your way to your car to do just that.
So overall, this store is fine and all… and the prices are great… but I just don’t personally see the need for it, I guess.

This place was on my list of places to visit I stopped by one day when I was in the far west suburbs.
DVDs — selection is good, probably comparable to a Best Buy. However I thought prices were similar. Fry’s probably has the best selection of DVDs (eg sitcoms, foreign, animé, etc) in the area.
Book and CD sections were smaller than I expected. Part of the joy of a book store is browsing and finding something unexpected.
Nice, brand new shiny store but it really doesn’t distinguish itself.
Note: Ignore the street address. It is on Route 59 just north of the Super Target and south of North Aurora Road.

It is a good store with very helpful employees. However, no house or trance music.
