This was our first time here, they took the time to show us the menu items. My husband had the meatball sandwich and I had the chicken parmesian sandwich. I was the best chicken parmesian sandwich I have ever had. It will be a drive for us, but we will be back! Fantastic food!

Been to this place a few times now. Great hot dogs and fries for lunch. The stuffed peppers are also a good bet. Friendly folks running the place. Will definitely repeat.

How did I not already leave a review? I finally got a chance to chat with one of the owners about how much I’ve enjoyed my visits. I love supporting small family owned businesses. Good news, they’re bringing in Italian ice soon, as they approach their 6 month anniversary. Their beefs and meatballs are excellent and I plan on trying their ravioli soon. Plenty of outdoor dining in the lot behind and they have plans to improve the garden too.

Franco’s offers a simple menu that includes Sausage Peppers and Onions. The limited menu actually offers two choices for the classic sausage trilogy, large or small. The«secret» menu offers a sandwich option served on «Alpha» bread. Now you know. The Italian Sausage is extremely tender and flavorful and served with the perfect char. The peppers are green and traditional. As for the onions, they kind of ‘melt away”. Customer service identifies sporadic confusion indicating a work in progress… time will tell. The Sausage Pepper and Onion is solid. Shit can the fries!

We live in the neighborhood and have a baby, so we were really excited that an Italian-American joint opened up within a 5 minute walk of our house as making dinner isn’t always a priority these day, but getting it fast is. Love that the menu is to the point. We have been very happy with our food every time we get it, which at least once every other week. I have high expectations for my Italian-American cuisine, and the eggplant parm is delicious! Even our baby loves to eat it! The Italian beef, and chicken parm are on point too. I can’t comment on the sweet peppers like others, we eat giardiniera in this house, but I would never suggest anything be like portillos. People who know true Italian beef never go to portillos. The fries, one of my guilty pleasure foods, are great if you like the classic thin salty fries. I could eat them everyday from Franco’s. We feel fortunate to live so close to a great family ran business. The only thing that is missing to make it truly feel like it’s from nonna’s kitchen is the Italian. If I could come in and order in Italian I’d give it best little joint in Naperville. And maybe if panzerotti were on the menu We’re walking over there now, actually.

Good Italian Beef. Great fries. And, I’ve heard lots of good things about their sausage and parm dishes. That’s what the next visit is for.

Franco’s is FABULOUS! Family run place with awesome(and quick) food! We loved the Italian beef, chicken parm, and meatball sandwich. People are very friendly, the food is outstanding, the it’s SO convenient to downtown Naperville(just east of downtown on Chicago). Great for North Central College students — just down the street!

I was in Naperville the other day for business and it was later in the afternoon and I hadn’t eaten lunch yet so I stopped by and am glad I did! This place is a gem! I had the beef which was delicious and big. What great value for the money spent. The bread was very fresh and soft, meat was moist and flavorful. I got a side of fries which were really good. I like crispy fries so these were right up my alley. Staff was great– could tell it was a family owned business and I like to support the locals! Make sure you stop by Franco’s. Next time I’m down in the area I’m going to be sure to stop by again.

Excellent beef sandwich which had great flavor and tasted like quality meat. The meatball sandwich was stuffed with 3 giant meatballs smothered with red sauce and was also tasty. The stuffed pepper wasn’t bad either! Super friendly and accommodating folks. Second time here and without a doubt I will be returning and telling my friends about them!

I ate here last night. Service was very good. Ordered a beef sandwich with sweet peppers. Very fresh bread, excellent beef and juice and I really liked the sweet peppers. I’d rather have the smaller cut sweet peppers over the 2 large slices like most places give because you can taste them in each bite. I’ve stopped in before and had the beef and sausage combo and it was also very good. I will definitely be back and look forward to trying some of the other items on the menu.

Love Francos. I drive right past portillos to get here and don’t think twice. Outstanding beef, meatballs and service. Great addition to the neighborhood. Highly recommend. Try an Italian beef with meatballs on it. Not on the menu but they will custom make it and it is delicious! Fries are fine and fresh.

This place is a family owned business. They care about their food they produce and interested in your opinion. My family had their Italian Beef, Chicken Parmesan sandwich, meatballs and fries. The food was excellent and served fast. –Italian Beef, Excellent, wet and not greasy! And a ton of beef! –Chicken Parmesan, The chicken was so big it didn’t fit on the bread. Purdue would be proud! Great taste! –Meatballs, Just like momma makes! Again, If size matters, this is the place! Most of the time we can’t finish the whole sandwich. Everyone needs to support our locally owned businesses I this is definitely a winner!!! It’s not fair to compare the foods from other restaurants to Franco’s. Each restaurant has their own signature way to serve their food. So does Franco’s. Their fries and peppers are just fine! The way mamma made it. And you can’t criticize mamma!!! Keep doing what you are doing!

I just got food from here for the first time, and it was very good. I really like the Italian sausage with onions and peppers, and the fries are good too. This is a new restaurant, and it’s small, so I really hope it does well.

Finally got in to try Franco’s. We really wanted to give Franco’s 4 or 5 stars but it didn’t quite make it. This is a new mom and pop operation and we wish them the best. We ordered a combo sandwich with sweet peppers and a hot dog. The combo sandwich itself was great. 7″, both meats were tasty and it was on some really nice, fresh bread. The drawback was the sweet peppers. They were a small dice of what tasted like raw green peppers. Maybe they were just steamed or microwaved. The fries were overcooked and starting to get hard. Maybe it’s because they choose to use the thin shoestring type of fry. They cook fast but it is very difficult not to overcook them as ours were. I tasted my wife’s hot dog. The meat had an unusual taste. Not good. We wouldn’t order that again. Note to the owners: You have a lot of stiff competition for your product in your area. Ogden Ave. isn’t that far away. If you want to see what hot dogs and what sweet peppers should be, go to Portillo’s and order an Italian beef with sweet peppers and a hot dog. That is your competition. If you want to see what fries should be like go to Nickey’s and give them a try. If you plan on staying in this area long term you may have to step up your game a little.

Franco’s is a hidden Gold Mine! Once you try it… you will be back… no questions asked. Portillo’s in Naperville has always been good but why would you keep going there when this place offers better quality of beef(freshly made daily) and they also have home made favorite Italian items such as meatballs and sauce, egg plant sandwich, chicken Parmesan, cheese ravioli, and stuffed peppers. Their hot dogs are solid too. The service is incredibly friendly as Domenic and his two sisters, mother, and grandmother all help greet their customers and share in preparing the food. My first visit I had a delicious wet beef with cheese and sweet peppers. I also had a meatball with sauce on the side. It was awesome! My second – I tried the egg plant parmesan sandwich. It was incredible as well with great flavor and the bread was so FRESH. On my 3rd visit I tried the hot dog and fries… very well prepared and tasty. My fourth visit –I tried the chicken Parmesan sandwich. It was once again delicious! I asked Domenic if they served anything bad in this place… and of course he said no. Next week I will probably try the stuffed pepper and then the combo. This place will quickly become a popular stop and a quick place for the local high school(Benet) and colleges(North Central &IBC) to visit for lunch or after school and games. Franco’s is doing it right!

Franco’s is new to the Naperville area and what a wonderful addition! Both my husband and I are beef sandwich snobs. We love a good, fresh beef sandwich on great bread. We typically stay away from ordering a beef sandwich because it just doesn’t meet our expectations. On Thursday I was driving by Franco’s and thought I would give it a try. The beef sandwich was made fresh, the bread was delicious and the sweet/hot peppers made the sandwich really yummy! As a matter of fact, I’m thinking we’re going to have beef sandwiches again for dinner tonight!
