We have two dogs, and dog-​boarding facilities became very expensive when we were looking for a place for them to stay while on a cruise. Additionally, they are senior citizens and too old for the rough and tumble play of a big facility.
Three times now we have used Rover, and have been pleased every time with the personal attention our pets received. The daily picture updates gave us a window into what was going on in our absence and made it much easier to be apart.
Rover’s system of Meet and Greets enabled us to meet our sitter before we committed, and payment via a credit card made that part easy.
No more kennels for our old dogs. A-​Rover (ing) we will go!

I hate to have to board my dog in a kennel when we go on a trip, and thanks to
, I don’t have to! I have used a dog sitter through
twice now, and I will be using them again soon. I like the fact that the sitters are screened and have to carry insurance. Customer reviews of each sitter are right there on the website. A meet and greet in advance of a stay is a must to make sure that everyone gets along, and the pet owner can check out the environment where their pet will be staying and meet the person who will be caring for their pet. I think
is a great service and I’m glad I found it!

We were worried about going out of town, I called pet hotels and dog kennels and they were just not right for us. Bulldogs have special needs and Bob had never
been away from us in his life. Rover was so easy, we connected immediately with Benito who was so nice and flexible on times (he is also a dog trainer). He even sent us photos and a video of Bob playing with other dogs. Our pet-​sitting experience was awesome. I would 110% recommend
, frankly I will never use another service again. This is a valuable and affordable service, wish I had had this with my other pets through the years, thanks Benito and thanks Rover for existing!
