First time we come here and probably the last. My husband ordered the british breakfast and the 3 eggs over easy came out too hard inside. The bacon wasn’t crispy. The waitress was no where to be seen and when returned, gave him a plate to put the bacon, took another 5 minutes and brought it back. I ordered the bob the builder omelette which was ok but I paid $ 1 extra for the croissant instead of toast and it really wasn’t a croissant. It was a fatty uncooked piece of pastry that looks like an experiment from the baker. The drinks were good. The ambiance is ok. A little bit noisy. To me it seems like a touristic trap.

Great spot for locals, hidden away off third street with a great menu that is been around for many years Casual comfortable outside seating, with a great breakfast If you want to eat like a local then go to Jane’s

Though I was initially gung-ho about making brunch, eager to try out the new Wolf range, after a longggg day of interview outfit shopping and pampering, somehow I couldn’t muster the energy to complete my day of housewifing with a trip to the store for ingredients, and as a result, we found ourselves at Jane’s, which was totally lovely. They don’t take resis for parties under 8, so heeding the advice of the host, we arrived at 10a, «before the church crowd gets out», and was quickly seated outdoors by the pond to bask in the glory that is 85 °F weather in October. Menu is traditional in tone — bennies, French Toast, omelettes — though everything is prepared with care and the resulting nosh is a bit more interesting than one might expect. Perhaps you want to start with a fresh berry blintz, chocolate chip pancakes, or a «one percenter» omelette(crab, shrimp, lobster, Havarti) — or show your wild side with a bourbon vanilla Belgian waffle, vegan ranchero(black beans, corn, spinny, shrooms, peppers, potatoes, avo, +/-eggs, or the«Personal Trainer Sergei High Protein LoCarb» option(poached eggs, turkey bacon, oatmeal/berries) — Stevo went for the breakie burrito(eggs, avo, bacon, peppers, jack cheese, salsa) and was thrilled — Muam and I enjoyed our avo/spinach/shroom omelettes, P and J were pretty into their English breakfasts — eggs/potatoes/bacon — oh, and we split a «painters fruit palatte» — a cornucopia of pina, berries, melon, sprinkled with crunchy of granola — portions are not out of control, though all bellies were pleasantly full and fueled for our post-brunch beach stroll. Oh, coffee is pretty solid(props for soy and almond milk options), and the peach/strawberry lemonade with heaps of actual fruit was refreshing and tart. Entrees are $ 12 – 15, with the errant item hitting the $ 18 mark(crab cake bennie, sups fancy omelettes). Overall, despite the presence of a nearby Tommy Bahama resto, 3rd street is adorable — less touristy than 5th Ave, and just a few blocks from the beach — well worth exploring, and if breakie is the name of your game, Jane’s is a fine place to do it.

This is my first time in to Jane’s. It was a little chilly outside but we sat in the garden area under a heater. The waiter was great and very attentive.1 They had a very large brunch menu and lunch menu with all different types of options and a lengthy list of the specials! The food was fresh made came out very quickly and was very appealing to look at. We will definitely be back!
