While in Florida for a business trip — I visited a Publix for the first time. What a wonderful market.

This Publix is great! This is my go to place when I need to grab a few items. I can get in and get out quickly, and the parking always has decent places to park without being crowded with shopping carts. The produce aisles are plentiful and everything looks fresh and inviting. I love the area that has everything in one spot for a meal– such as chicken breasts, mixed sliced veggies, pasta and herbs. Sometimes I grab that and I walk back out, as my whole plan was to grab something for dinner. Boom– I didn’t even have to think about it. The meat looks great and the aisles are well stocked. I do feel like sometimes it’s a bit of a «meet/meat market», as I sometimes am obviously getting checked out, but I guess that’s par as I’m usually not there with the hubs, and therefore appear to be single. Lol. You can’t blame a guy for trying, right? The cashiers are always quick to get me out of there which I like, and the Bagers are always super friendly. The only thing I wish they would improve on is the deli section. I would like to see more available.

This Publix Deli is a joke! Turkey Rueben is even on this store’s signage Menu. I just stopped in and ordered a Turkey Reuben half sub on tye– there did not seem to be a rye hoagie roll and when I said rye she pointed to «white» so I settled on Wheat … but the deli gave me a Corn Beef reuben. I told the handsome guy in line behind me that I hope they make his sandwich«right.» I expressed my displeasure at getting the wrong meat on my sub to the Cashier and a female Supervisor. The Cashier tried to blame it on me by suggesting I ordered wrong. Neither applogized for the store’s mistake and I was charged Full Price. A reuben– Turkey or Corned Beef, I discovered, does not taste nearly as good without Rye Bread. Please do better. Reubens are a deli staple!

It’s a supermarket. They do have just about everything. Food, pharmacy stuff, beer and wine, and just about anything else you might need. The checkout staff are great — 3 different folks in 3 days and all were friendly and efficient. Good all around.

Located in the Crossroads plaza in the Vineyards area of Naples. This store is slightly smaller than the one on Radio Rd and I only go here if I’m driving by it on the way home and need to pick up milk or a delicious buffalo chicken tender sub. Everyone is very nice here, including the baggers who will offer to help you to your car if you happen to be A. lazy B. toting a large brood or C. ancient. This store unfortunately never has the chicken sausage we pick up at the Berkshire store and basically has less selection of everything. Even the bakery seems a bit puny. There also seems to be a higher Stuck-up-Snobby-Jackass customer base ratio around this area, and I cannot for the life of me figure out why. Either way, this store is clean and well stocked, albeit small.
