I can’t say enough about the amazing experience I had here. We came in pretty close to closing and they were happy to seat us. It seem incredibly upscale and classy. Our food came quickly and was absolutely perfect. I had the meatball calzone and first off it was massive. I couldn’t finish half of it. But the taste was so delicious. I was so surprised just how great this restaurant was. If you’re in the area, you need to eat here.

Update. Last time I came everything was amazing, so I suppose my expectations were a little high. I have to say the pizza is still amazing. And we came for lunch this time and they have a really nice list of lunch specials for $ 10.99 that come with soup, salad, or fries and a drink. I ordered the grilled chicken caprese. The tomato and mozzarella was delicious, but my chicken was cold. I think the dish is supposed to be served that way since someone else in my party also ordered it and his was cold as well. It was cold enough that it clearly had been chilled and wasn’t just sitting out because of poor timing. My complaint is that no one warned me my chicken would be served cold; had I known that I would’ve asked for it hot or ordered something else because I don’t like cold chicken. Also, the bathroom had an overwhelming smell of some sort of smoke. Probably due to an inconsiderate customer, but I definitely didn’t like that! Overall a good experience with friendly service, but I would like a warning that my food will be cold and a nice-smelling bathroom. Will still be back for hot pizza!

Back in Naples! What can I say, Florida is my home away from home. As always, my girlfriend, her family, and I were looking to try a new place and with our love for places like Parmesan Petes and other Italian restaurants with New York City origins, we thought Rosedale Brick Oven would be a sure score. Now three stars is a little on the low side of what I believe to be a rating somewhere in between a 3 and 4, but I hope my explanation will bring light as to why I went with 3⁄5. When we first arrived we were seated by a very sweet waitress. She was quick with drinks and did a great job taking our orders and accommodating us with everything that needed to be done. Props to her. Our food, however, took quite a while to come out. And when it did, it was just okay. I ordered the grilled chicken caprese and I was very disappointed when the chicken was cold. The resistance it gave me while cutting into it made me think, «well this could have been grills four days ago and sat in the fridge until it was presented to me.» The tomato, mozzarella, and basil where delicious with a balsamic glaze that had a very strong taste, but fit perfectly with the rest of the dish. As a table, we ordered a pizza to split. The pizza was pretty good, but lacked substance. I’m a big fan of thin crust pizza. I am not so much a fan of thin crust pizza topped with a paper thin layer of sauce and then a cm of mozzarella. Even with the lack of sauce and cheese, it was still pretty tasty. One of the members of our group also had ordered his own pizza as his meal. He got the same pizza we had gotten(margarita) but he had also requested pepperoni. There was very little pepperoni in his pizza when it was brought out. Overall, the service was good, the chicken was nasty, the caprese salad was delicious, and the pizza was good but not great.

Really good brick oven pizza, close to Lombardi’s in NYC. Been here many times and the food has been consistent and the atmosphere relaxed.

Great Neapolitan-style pizza. New York, Margherita, Italiano, and Toscana are all good. Wings are surprisingly good too. Trick is to get the food while it’s hot… show up early(they overestimate pick-up time) or eat in.

After 40 years of searching for the type of cheese calzone that I grew up with in New Haven, CT, I finally found it at Rosedale. This is what I call a calzone. The perfect dough, stuffed with ricotta and mozzarella. Pure and simple, even without using the provided side of marinara. Living in the Boston area for the last 40 years, I had given up on my ever finding this style of calzone ever again. I am addicted. It is divine, pure and simple. I only wish that Rosedale also made a jumbo size in addition to the current size, which, if I let myself, I could eat all at once, but I force myself to cut it in half. I also really love the pizza here, especially the white pizza. Haven’t tried the rest of the menu but everything I see looks fantastic. And enjoyable interior; Little Rascals DVD’s on in the background; NYC photos; feels right. And really nice and clean, ladies room.

Food was good but the customer service was awful. An empty booth was available but wouldn’t sit our party because they hold for only parties of six and we were four. By the time we were seated and left the booth was never occupied. Also, reservations are not accepted yet booths are still held.

I have to say we didn’t really expect much upon arriving at this restaurant. It’s located in a pretty empty shopping plaza and it looked like a chain pizzeria. I did notice that it was crowded so the food must be good. We started off with two soups, a Pasta Fagioli and a Sausage and Lentil. Delicious! Both very good with the edge going to the Pasta Fagioli. The bread is served soft and hot with olive oil and herbs. We decided to share an entrée and I’m glad we did as the portions are huge! The Chicken Francaise was delicious and hearty! They definitely don’t skimp on the chicken or the pasta! It was tender and flavorful. The service was very friendly and professional, and the owner(I assume) was making his rounds assuring everyone was happy with their experience. Bravo!

Really cute little local place. It’s tucked away in a strip mall but we eventually found it. Food is great, very reasonable prices, and service is excellent. It’s small, but it’s clean and comfortable and it seemed to me they did more takeout than anything. Lots more on the menu than pizza. Recommend for takeout, because the line forms very early for seating.

Fantastic, original, phenomenal Italian pizza and Riceball. Very affordable. I entered this restaurant thinking same old same old pizza joint. Boy was I proven wrong. A must try. I love the sauce.

It was ok. We got create your own pizza. Pizza comes in one size and its 12″. Crust is thin crust and honestly for the price the toppings were lacking. Thanks to Groupon I didn’t spend full Price here or I would have been very upset. Easy fix would just be to just put more of the toppings i chose. If you get 2 toppings it should have more than the pizza that only had one. Not equal. Maybe when the snow birds leave prices change. We probably wont check. Definitely a restaurant for the tourists and not locals.

Great pizza, I had the margarita pizza with basil. It was quite delicious. We also had the happy hour half priced wings. $ 5 gets you a ton of baked garlic and onion rings.

Our first experience at Rosedale was great. My whole family has Celiac and the owner came out to our table to reassure us that we would be ok. He was really nice and it turned into a fun conversation. When the food came it was perfect and tasted amazing. I just sat down at the table to eat here for our second time and I’m happy to know I can enjoy the amazing food without getting sick.

I was surprised how busy this place was at 8:15pm when they close at 9! My party of five waited maybe 15 minutes for a table around this time. The menu says the pizza serves 1 – 2, but I lean more towards 2 – 3, and only 2 if you’re really hungry. As a party of five, we ordered 3 pies and had trouble finishing them all, but finally did as we couldn’t take home leftovers as it was our last night in town. Free fresh rolls come out before your meal, and we all enjoyed the olive oil mixture with spices for dipping. The pizzas were mostly hits with one miss. We ordered a margherita, the Italiano, and the chicken rustica. My brother ate most of the margherita accompanied per his order with a Caesar salad. The salad was rather large for a simple side. He said the pizza was«ok», which from him is a testament that it was quite tasty(as the empty plate would suggest) as he is extremely critical of everything and isn’t afraid to hide his Bostonian mentality towards things. My mom and dad shared the Italiano(Marzano tomatoes, Italian sausage, red peppers, pepperoni, and mozzarella) and loved it. I tried one bite and it was very flavorful and had a nice kick. So my pizza order… I thought it wasn’t terrible but I was fully outvoted on this by my boyfriend, who is still giving me a hard time for ordering this pizza and«forcing» him to eat it 3 days later. In his words, «it was terrible and I absolutely despised it. If I wanted a salad, I would have ordered a salad». The chicken rustica was described as grilled marinated chicken, fresh mozzarella, roasted garlic, provolone, fresh basil, topped with chopped romaine and Parmesan. For the record, balsamic vinegar is also atop the romaine which does add a nice tart flavor to the pie. I would have preferred the balsamic drizzled on prior to topping the pie with romaine personally. The pie was severely lacking flavor– it was a white pie which I normally don’t prefer and had it been advertised as such, I would not have ordered it. I suggest they split their pizzas into«red sauce» and«white sauce» to make this distinction prominent. The amount of romaine on the pizza was insane– I’ve had several prosciutto and arugula pies with 1⁄3 of the greens that was on this pie. My boyfriend insists he misread the description(saying he saw spinach not romaine) because he would have never gone along with this choice otherwise. He still powered through(yep, still hearing about it) though and ate 3.5 slices to my 2.5. Since the margherita and Italiano were, apparently, quite tasty, I believe this was a case of misordering. If I am in an area of Florida again that has this small chain, I will gladly seek them out and order something different as I love brick fired oven pizza. Also, I managed to convince my chain-loving family to eat here over CPK so that in and of itself is noteworthy!

Great pizza! We never know where to order takeout when visiting my parents in Naples. This is the best we’ve had so far. We had the white pizza for adults and cheese pizza for the kiddos, both were delicious. Pies are small, they serve about two. Also the Caesar salad was a let down. Chopped lettuce and a little parm with so-so dressing. Felt like we could have gotten the same thing in a bag at a grocery store.

Exceptional food. Started us with home made rolls which were a great indication of the food to come A++. Then the salad was super fresh. The Pizza also A++. Will definitely come again and explore other parts of the menu. We are back again and it’s still 5 stars! This time we tried the Italian Wings appetizer. Excellent tasty!
