I have never been to the 99 but for the night I was feeling burgers… so I got the bean burger. I wasnt really expecting it to be that good. But I was SO good. Im impressed. but yeah does smell and look a little too dark they need to brighten the place up a bit and have wall to wall humidifiers and automatic air fresheners..

Imagine if a nursing home was run out of an abondoned factory’s basement and their main export was mold, along with some earthy undertones of raw sewage. That’s what this place smells like. I walked in, smelled that smell and immediately walked out. Why would I want to eat and breath at a place that smells like one of Jigsaw’s torture chambers? Why do they not do something about the smell? I’ve walked in a few times just to see if the place still makes my eyes water over the past year and lo and behold it’s like a fine a wine but instead of wine it’s mold and poop. Does the staff not smell it? Does the manager not care? I feel like mold, being a serious and potentially dangerous health code issue, would require immediate attention. Not to mention the sewage smell. How is this place still in business I wonder? I should open up a 99 out of my 90 year old grandpa’s unfinished basement.

Love everything about this place except the smell. Kind of smells like a bathroom. They just get used to it because it has some serious stank every time I go. The service and managers are great. It can be a little slow to get drinks and food if they’re slammed, but that’s anywhere. Plenty of parking.

The food is good and we usually eat in the bar area but the big downfall is the terrible smell of wet mold from being in the basement of the building.

99 is your basic American food neighborhood restaurant but you can always count on good food, friendly service and a good pour ;) I like the chicken kabob salad.

Can’t recommend this place at all. I have been twice in two years and neither time have I been able to stay long enough to eat. Why? The smell! It’s a musty basement smell but on top of that there is a very real sewage smell. I don’t think the employees can smell it because they have grown noseblind to it but it is absolutely unbearable. They need to hire a contractor and make sure their plumbing is all intact.

I highly recommend the pecan crusted chicken on the $ 9.99 deal section. It is delicious, one of the best meals I have ever had. And the price can’t be beat!

I’m a vegan and it is very hard to find food in restaurants. The manager was VERY accommodating, and went out of his way to help me find something on the menu that I could eat. I highly recommend this restaurant for its exemplary service.

Good experience overall. Large menu so there’s something for every taste. We had the french onion soup which was average. We ordered buffalo wings but received buffalo tenders. I know this was not the fault of the server bc I never brought it to her attention since I was hungry. However, when I read the receipt it clearly said XL buffalo WINGS. The tenders were very good tho. My companion had fish n chips for his main course. Two big pieces of fish were breaded nicely and cooked til flakey and juicy. I had chicken tenders and steak tips for my main course(see why I wouldn’t have started with tenders for an appetizer? Bit redundant no?) The steak tips were tender and juicy but definitely not rare like ordered(maybe that’s hard to do considering they are small pieces of steak. they weren’t dried out and inedible so ok). The chicken tenders were average. The server Eileen was friendly and attentive. Never had to ask for anything extra from her. This was my first time at this particular 99 Restaurant, so if the service remains consistent that’s great. However, the food needs some improvement — not bad but not great either. I’ll try again sometime.

Expensive frozen beef. Nothing is fresh including the bagged salad. Go to whole foods up the street. Better food selection and it’s fresh.

I’ve been here a few times and had mixed experiences. The food is consistent, but the service isn’t. I’ve had some great servers and some terrible ones. A server can really make or break a meal for me. In my experiences thus far, it’s like flipping a coin. BUT they did just get wifi that actually works, so that’s a plus.

Food is pretty good, but what sets Nashua 9’s apart is the staff, Ordered dinner for the family tonight, pick up to go. Karen waited on me, and I have to say she is so sweet, she always has a smile on her face, the 99’s is lucky to have her!

No windows here, as it’s located in the basement of the Best Western Granite Inn hotel.(Difficult to access for the handicapped.) Even so, it’s an okay place to eat a meal or two. Standard chain restaurant fare, so don’t expect anything spectacular. Average prices, too. Staff is friendly and attentive enough. And seating is fairly comfortable. I guess the best part about this place, though, is the fact that cell phone service is poor because you’re in a basement, so your partner has little choice but to engage in face to face conversation! Then again, I suppose they could watch TV instead. Sigh.

Ate there twice and love it! Going back for dessert today :-) Food is awesome. Very flavorful and great variety! I love that they offer a great and healthy selection of sides for the kiddos to choose from. Most places give you French fries or some other greasy choice. Not here! Cole slaw comes also with most meals if not all. If you sign up online you get a free appetizer coupon, woohoo! Also plenty TV to keep kids entertained. Staff was very friendly. Only down part was that we only had 1 hour for lunch and it seemed like it took long to get our food. When we went for dinner it didn’t take all that long. Maybe just cause we weren’t in a rush, it seemed different, not sure.

I always head to the 99 when I don’t feel like driving far away from home. The food is always decent however my biggest issue is that the bar service ISALWAYSHORRIBLE. Takes forever to get service… don’t refill drinks timely. And I am not an unreasonable person, however when there are 3 bartenders and only 10 – 12 people at a bar, there is no reason why any drink should be empty. I also contend when you walk down the stairs that it smells like a nursing home. That could be the disenfecant that they use… however that is what it reminds me of.

Yes, I have already written a review for another 99 in the area, but it is just that good. I really like this location, too — pretty chilled out, the wait never seems to be unreasonable, and I like how much space they have particularly around the bar.

I like the 99. I always have and probably always will. They have good food at a good price. Yummy drinks too. I don’t care if they’re a chain. They are inexpensive, have good food, and have tolerated my sometimes obnoxious toddler. That’s a win in my book.

Like Chris said, this 99 is not much different than other 99 restaurants in the area. Good food, good service, good for families, and reasonable prices. I’ve never waited more than a few minutes to be seated. Trivia night is always fun as well. The only thing that I don’t like is that you lose all cell phone service inside due to the basement location.

Same food and drinks as every other 99. The things that are different about this one is the total lack of natural light since its in the basement of the hotel. Not that you really notice once you’re inside anyways. The bar area is huge and has plenty of places to sit and I like the design which is wavy. This creates little mini sections on the bar of 2 or 3 stools which offers a little more privacy than you usually get at a bar if you’re there with a couple people. The main restaurant section is all booths which are very large so there is plenty of room.
