New Hampshire Dept of Employment Security

As some of you may already know, I lost my job a little while back so I’ve had to deal with the NH Department of Employment Security (I live in MA but worked in NH). I’ve heard horror stories about the MA counterpart, but dealing with NH has been fairly painless. I keep records of where I’ve applied, etc., and file a claim weekly. I do everything online.
Today, I had to actually go to the Nashua, NH, location, because three phone calls with different people proved fruitless. My question wasn’t extraordinary, but no one seemed to know the answer. It took me about 30 minutes to get there, and I stayed about five minutes at the most. At noon, I was the only «client,» and there were several employees scattered about in the cubes. I was helped immediately, and it turns out that the printout that prompted my question had incorrect information on it, which is why no one knew how to answer me.
The place was clean and quiet, with calming music, and it had several computers set up for unemployed people to use. I would rather not come back (i.e., I would much rather have a good job), but my experience wasn’t as horrific as I thought it would be. I brought a couple of trash magazines to read, thinking this would be like the Registry of Motor Vehicles and would have a long wait, but thankfully I was mistaken.
