I would guess that ADT has been the worst company I have ever worked with. Where do I start? * Exorbitant fees and impossible to cancel(expect $ 1000+ to cancel) * Many, many issues with the system — multiple false alarms, multiple police fees, multiple police fines for false alarms * Customer service ignores you(20+ minutes on hold). Act like you’re a new customer looking to sign-up and they’ll pick up right away. * When we had the alarm reinstalled after construction, they completely screwed it up. Still not working… I’m sure I can think of a few more issues, but this is the gist of it. Hint: use NCA or any other alarm company you can. Buy a guard dog. Build your own alarm system out of tin-foil, string, and bells. I don’t really care what you do, just don’t use ADT. There’s a reason why they have 1-star on every review site: they’re awful.

ADT has one of the most aggressive and annoying marketing strategies in the U.S. Once you discontinue service and get a new phone number, they will pester you with several nuisance phone calls daily. Annoying phone calls coming from foreign countries and persons with low mentality and/or poor english skills will never stop. Their bureaucracy cannot be penetrated to get relief. The ADT phone system has layer upon layer of recordings to keep you from ever reaching a live person. If you like a noisey, complicated life then go ahead and do business with ADT Security Services. Enjoy the disturbances and frustration!
