I ordered something from Wayfair so they arranged delivery. My delivery window was from 10 am– 2 pm today with a 30 minute heads up courtesy call. Well, it is now 2:30 pm, I have had no call and have been on hold for over 15 minutes. Online tracking on their site was not very helpful. That’s 4 hours of my time spent waiting that I’ll never get back. Unacceptable and unprofessional.

TERRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE! I ordered a sideboard online from Joss & Main, and they used Crosstown as a 3rd party delivery team to actually deliver the furniture to my apartment after it arrived at their warehouse.(This cost me an extra $ 150 by the way). I got an email on Saturday from Joss & Main saying that my furniture had arrived at Crosstown and to expect a call from them within 1 business day. The end of the day on Monday rolls around, and I have still not heard from Crosstown so I decided to call them myself. They give me options of delivery from 12 – 4 on Wednesday or Thursday. I choose Wednesday, and they said they would call me 30 minutes before delivery. Well Wednesday 3:00 rolls around and I have a bad feeling they are not going to call. I take the initiative and call them myself. The lady on the phone informs me that my sideboard is «damaged» and will need to be sent back to Joss & Main and that they will have to order a new one. Why was I not contacted about this?! I took 4 hours off of work to be home for the delivery, and they never even once contacted me to let me know(1) that my furniture is damaged and(2) that it will not be delivered to me. Absolutely ridiculous! They should verify furniture is in good condition upon arrival and communicate with their customers. You can bet that I cancelled my order with Joss & Main altogether and gave Crosstown a piece of my mind.
