Joe’s has all you can eat crab legs on Wednesday night, I don’t care for the snow crabs so I tried the Ragin’ Cajun Steampot. It was really good and my server Gary takes wonderful care of me. I also found a meter so I didn’t have to pay to park. Wonderful date with myself! I will definitely be back, my new hang out spot

All we had were cheese sticks and drinks but if you go hopefully Katie will be the bartender. She did drinks from the menu as well as drinks from repertoire. Trust her!

Crab legs are amazing, i prefer the queen crab. King crab is very pokey and harder to crack open, while the queen has just a much meat and very easy to manage. We always have a good experience and love the scenery.

I was so disappointed with this place. I went to Joe’s in Myrtle Beach and OMG it was so good. But the one in Nashville what a huge let down. My best friend and I shared the two person steam pot and was so small. The steam pot came out cold, the butter was cold. They forgot the add the corn the sausages were nasty no flavor. Will not go back.

Food was bland… Service was slow… Order was wrong… Check was wrong… But besides all that, not a bad place if you haven’t eaten in days.

Jay was an excellent server and fun. Food was overall very good. My queen crab didn’t have much BBQ flavor but the rest was delish. Hubby had the Sam Adams and thoroughly enjoyed it. Clam chowder was also a hit with him. My margarita was fabulous too! Heads up-Parking cost us $ 20 to eat at this location. That was the third lot we checked. First two were $ 31+ which was hi way robbery since we weren’t hanging out or staying in Nashville except for our meal.

Our experience here was horrible. The food was so bland and did not taste fresh. My standards are a bit high for seafood as I am from the Pacific Northwest… but DAMN. Our food came out fairly cold and one of our pots came out with no seasoning. My lobster tasted a bit off. Anyways we had a large party and I don’t think the waiter was prepared for us. Ill give them that and won’t comment on that aspect of dinner. I’m sure there is better seafood restaurants elsewhere. Goodluck.

Visited Joe’s Crab Shack for my sister’s birthday and enjoyed bite. Ordered the Ragin Cajun crab bucket which was awesome. Going back next week to try a different bucket, plan to try everything on the menu.

This place is good. A nice and comfy place styled for music city. Been here a few times. The first time I was unsatisfied. However being back a couple more time everything is great nice and friendly staff with good food.

Service was sub par. I believe the Football game was more of a distraction to the server than a enhancement for the customer. Food came out and it seemed like it had been sitting in the kitchen for a while. Had to seek out the server for refills and every little thing that normally are brought to you.

Wow Service was so bad! We asked to sit upstairs. At first they did not want to sit us there … They finally did and it took forever together acknowledged. Food was good. Drinks ok. Service was mediocre. So disappointed!

The crabcake sandwich was the best ive ever had, very tasty. But they seem shortstaffed on Saturdays, two bartenders is not enough when everyone is waiting a long time to be served, i think they need more cocktail waitresses to help them out. Once i ordered my food came fairly quickly but the service was pretty bad. I sat at the bar and i actually had to ask them to clean the dirty plates and drinks from my area when i sat down! The stuff sat there a long time and once they took it, they never even wiped down the bar. I took a paper towel and did it. Theyre very slow and dont expect them to pay you attention. It looks much nicer than a shack but their unsanitary attitude concerns me, and if sitting at a table is cleaner, Im sure the service is still lacking.

Service was over the top! BUT! Food was HORRIBLE! Not being from the area I was very surprised at how the manager handled my feed back. Give it a try — maybe there are changes for the best but I’d past on it as my first choice if I happen to be in the area again.

Worst service ever. Server slow had to keep asking for my drinks. Took forever to get our food order. Had the $ 30 cajuan ragin steampot. Enough for one person. It actually had more spices to it then what i thought. Everyone else in the party had a different steampot but theirs were bland unless you like it like that but i perfer mine with spices. Appetizers were the usual mussle and the trio. Definitely not a place I would want to come back to. Parking next door had cost us $ 26. If you dont mine walking you can find one 2 blocks away for cheaper. The only star they deserve is for the great location. They have happy hours on weekdays 4−7pm only at the bar.

Hate giving negative comments… But at 4pm on Friday night a party of 6 people we waited 1. ½ hours for our food … Server was sweet but not trained. We asked for plates to share appetizers. Her answer was we have no clean plates… ??? OK what … Looking around there where more servers then customers … Everybody that came in after us had food before we even got appetizers !!!. Drink refills … Only after we asked twice… Don’t waste ur time in this city going to this horrible place !!

I really have to do better and check the reviews before I go to an restaurant because I would have know that the service is really bad. Not that they didn’t try but they didn’t have the demeanor to be bartenders(neither one of them). That job is for extroverts and not introverts because it showed that they didn’t want to interact with any of the consumers and I don’t blame them but blame the managers because he or she didn’t hire the right people for the job. Don’t get me wrong but they really tried but you can tell. The food was really good and so I guess that what I should be focusing my attention on. So if you want some good food and not be bothered this is a 5 star spot and you should visit.

The food at this place isn’t fit for human consumption. Not only was it terrible but my entire plate was cold including the crab cakes. Can you imagine trying to eat cold crab cakes? Nasty. I didn’t expect to be wowed being as though this is a crab shack in Nashville but I was hoping it would be decent. If you want crappy seafood you might as well go to Captain D’s and save yourself some money. Do not eat at this place.

My entire family went here very excited to eat our last meal of our Nashville trip. To start off with, we all ordered a cup of soup. My sister and I got the lobster bisque and my mom, brother and dad got the clam chowder. These soups were fairly good and account for the one start that I’m giving this restaurant. Although they were pretty good, the clam chowder especially most likely came from a can. The crab cake sandwich was absolutely awful. It was very dry and tasted nothing like crab. The sauce was decent which made it easier to choke down. My sister ended up sending hers back. The waitress took it back without question, possibly as a good customer service move, but it was almost like she agreed that it was terrible. My dad got the mahi tacos and he said they were terrible too. The water tasted like toilet water. Our waitress was very nice, but it took 40 mins to get our $ 75 worth of terrible food. When it came to getting the check, we waited and waited. My dad ended up having to leave to get the car out of the paid time limit lot while the rest of the family paid stayed behind to pay our bill(we eventually got up from the table to walk over and ask to pay). We figured that we had more than enough time to go in and eat, but weren’t factoring in the hour of time(outside of actual eating time) it took to get our food/check. Do yourself a favor, save $ 60 and go to chick-fil-a.

Came here twice! Both times no major issues. Sidenote: Most recent visit I came solo and sat at the bar and received quicker, more friendly service than when I came with my friend and we had a booth. I ordered the Big Shrimp Platter but subbed the coconut shrimp for grilled shrimp and instead of the fries and coleslaw I got two servings of rice(dirty rice and white rice). My two drinks were a strawberry/mango daiquiri(really good and sweet, very concentrated and thick like a smoothie, not watery at all) and Southern Comfort. I enjoyed both especially the Southern Comfort! Next time I plan to try the Category 5 Hurricane drink and the Southern Stuffed Shrimp. There is a parking lot adjacent to Joe’s Crabshack(the kind where you insert money into the box with your corresponding parking lot number). «Eat at Joe’s!»(lol)
