The staff was very friendly. The waitress was super sweet and goo-ed and ga-ed to put a smile on a fussy babie’s face from a family sitting across from me. She also smiled a lot and continually expressed her thanks as I finished up and paid for my meal. The food had a surprisingly wide selection including sushi. The food was not bad at all; not amazing, but hey, it’s a buffet. I’ll go again.

Great sushi bar! Best since Sam closed up shop. Don’t let the buffet fool you. Quality sushi prepared fresh. Many varieties to choose from.

If you’re craving Chinese and don’t want to deal with leftovers this is your place. Early lunch is better because it’s fresh. Or early dinner around 4 pm.(I still dont understand the price difference because the selection is exactly the same but whatever). This is –so far– the only buffet I’ve yet to get sick at… but again I go when food is freshest. Sushi is all pre-cooked so no raw problems, either.

Doubt they read there reviews or care but to warn everyone here… Dont do it just dont. There food is always cold and old. So many of these places around now that there is no point in going to this one. But hey if you like to live on the edge and eat cold food go for it.

My husband and I are in town for the weekend and had to check out of one hotel at 11 and couldn’t check into the next one until 3, so we wanted to go to a buffet where we could take our time and relax. We definitely should have chosen another one! There was plenty of steam coming from the food tables, but the food was COLD and everything that I tried that contained cabbage tasted SPOILED !! I would not recommend this place !!

Unidentifiable breaded deep fried mislabeled item? Yes. I usually don’t eat at buffets but my company was intrigued so we ventured in. There is the usual Azian fare to include sushi, hot wings and some traditional southern dishes. Lunch time didn’t appear too busy and dishes were promptly refilled when they ran out. Like I said, I don’t like mass produced buffet style food but if you do they have a nice selection of food, salads and sushi to include several desserts and ice cream.

So this place is ok for what is. But they never have sushi that’s worth a darn. So I go in at 830 and sit down the first plate is ok Pepper steak and rice. But I went up a few more times and everything was cold I asked why the say we close at 930 And they say can I microwave it for you And I said not stuff should be hot right. So I decided to leave and I told them I was not paying for cold food. They said no you pay haha I said I come here all the time and never say anything I will never go back again they lost my money

I ended up at King Buffet simply because it was the first place that I saw when driving around famished on Murfreesboro Pike. Happily it ended up being exactly what I needed. Though I often object to Nashville Chinese food options, this place was actually really good, and more importantly really cheap. For $ 4.50 I got a complete lunch that included not only General’s chicken and rice, but also soup and Won Tons; what a deal right? Mostly patronized by the masses that work on Murfreesboro, the lunch buffet seems to be its biggest attraction. For only $ 6 a person, their buffet is a seriously good deal. I’m not saying King Buffet’s Chinese food is going to blow your mind, but for the price, you are definitely getting the better end of the deal.
