This place is in the midst of a disastrous remodel. Everything is in a different place or out of stock every time we visit. No one around to help. We’ve been loyal shoppers here for over a year, but it’s just too frustrating to go there and then gave to go elsewhere to get everything they don’t have. Done. Finding a new store to shop at.

Not bad, not good. Exactly what you’d expect for a medium sized neighborhood grocery store.

OK, first the positive. The daytime staff here is really nice. They are very friendly and social. They are also a generous donor in the community. I know for a fact that they donate to two elementary schools here. The selection is OK. If I’m looking to get in and out of a store quickly, I probably will go to Kroger. Their gluten free/vegan selection is OK and easier to navigate than Whole Foods(and cheaper!) But, the negative… The produce is not good. It goes bad so quickly, if it was even good to start. While the staff can be nice, they can also be a little too informal and rude. The other day, a very nice young man was eating chips while ringing my food. This is so unhygienic. It was disgusting. And the smell– when you walk in the door, it smells like sewage. It’s revolting, and again, unhygienic. I have been told by staff members that it’s because of a drain outside the store and is outside of their control. It’s still a real turn off! While the negatives are not enough to keep me from getting staples when needed, they are enough to keep me from being a regular shopper.

The Kroger on Nolensville Pike is not too terrible in some of the other reviews. I believe they do a nice job in the area offering a diverse selection of produce, dry goods and other items. While the quality of the produce and the selection can be so so at times, I can generally find an acceptable subsititue with what I am cooking with for the week. Which is understandable, because produce can be very fickle these days. The dry goods/freezer and refridgerated aisles are usually fully stocked and I have no problem finding anything here. Additionally, if you like cooking Hispanic food, they have a pretty good selection of items I have not seen in other Krogers in the area. The natural food section could use a little help. I also dislike how the tofu and soy products are in the produce section and not in the natural foods section. You have to walk clear across the store. Customer service is ok and it is great to have the gas station right there too.

If I could give –5 stars I would. I grew up on Kroger and have always loved it. I grew up in this neighborhood and wish that I had a decent Kroger to zip in to. This place always stinks. There is a great man here named Mr. David that works during the day and a very nice lady named Keysha but everyone else makes you feel like they don’t need you. Seriously, they act like government workers. Most are young people who haven’t been taught that customer service is everything. What happened to appreciating your customers because they are the reason you are there? The Customer Service desk is ran by the MEANEST woman and man I have ever met at a store. Don’t ask for help from Manager Wilkes because he is just as bad. They don’t follow store policies and their sale items never ring up correctly. I will be paying slightly higher prices at Publix from here on out so that I can be treated as a human being. In fact, Publix has the BEST customer service and have always made me feel like family. Time to say good bye to Kroger.

I go to this Krogers for my Prescriptions. I like going to Krogers because I grew up on going Krogering… my mom always shopped there and now I shop there, even in another state. I am a HOMEGROWNKROGERLOCALYOKEL… no matter what state I live in. The prices are great. The store large and never that crowded. This location is not my favorite Kroger store in Nashville but I like this one. I love my Kroger point card to save money on my gas and My mommy can use my points in WESTVIRGINIA at her Kroger gas station where her gas is higher… I like that, that is a PERK for me!!! I love to go through the Floral department and take pictures and smell all the lovely flowers blooming. People think I am nuts!!! Oh, well, This is my Krogers and this is how I go Krogering…“Rocking the floral department”…lol !! So if you see a blond snapping pics of flowers at Krogers, it’s me!!! Your fellow Unilocal-er!!! Be sure to say Hi to me!!!

Sketchy at night but sure beats the heck out of going to the crappy Wal-mart across the way. The layout of the store seems backwards but overall I can find anything Im looking for. The attached gas station is usually where you can find me.

This Kroger is one of the worst I have shopped at. It is always under staffed, the store itself is always kind of dirty, the selection isn’t that great and(This sounds gross I know) but the entire store smell like someone has passed gas. I mean it does… every time I have been here. If it was just once I can understand but come on… The staff is okay, the people at the help desk was very rude, however the cashiers have always been nice. Again it is very under staffed when I go, the last time we got groceries there wasn’t a bagger, we had to bag our own groceries… which I’m not lazy, I don’t mind to do it but I’m paying the higher price for food so I can have the convenience of someone to do that for me. It’s the principle of the matter. All in all I agree with the other reviews of this place, there are other grocers in the area that are a lot better, go there!

As Krogers go, this one doesn’t rank on the top of the list; however, the selection is good, the parking is easy and the staff is cordial. Careful pulling out of the parking lot here. It can sometimes be a death trap!

While Publix is my favorite grocery store, I’m usually okay with Kroger as option number two. This happens more often than I would prefer because my beloved Publix keeps some crappy hours and seems to celebrate holidays as often as banks. So having said all that, I’m no stranger to Kroger. There are some nice Krogers in Nashville. This store is not one of them. In fact I can think of only one other Kroger I have ever visited that is worse than this one. The staff is either rude or seems to have little to no interest in helping you. The customers are even worse — rude, loud, and just flat out unsavory. Coming here to take advantage of the perks you might find at other Krogers like mix and match your own 6-packs of beer? LOL. Don’t expect such lavish offerings here. The worst part is the the faint odor of doo-doo that lingers throughout the whole store. You’ll notice it the moment you walk through the entrance. How they managed to get this store to smell like poop is beyond me but I am not the only one who has mentioned it. This store literally stinks. There are two other Krogers within 4 miles that are grocery nirvana compared to this place. Bottom line: go to one of those instead.
