Logan’s Roadhouse

Very slow had to wait 30 extra minutes for a table because they forgot about us. Very rude the bar area was so dirty. Food all over the bar and floor. The whole staff was very rude the only ok thing was the food was ok even though they missed up my wife’s order.

I haven’t eaten in Logan’s for about a decade. I dined here every week (at the Murfreesboro location) for the entire last decade of the 20^th century. Still very blue collar. Loud! But the higher priced steaks are an ok value. I had the 6 oz. filet rare. It was good. So was the asparagus. The service was very, very slow but friendly. Don’t think I’ve been called «Honey» and «Baby» by a woman young enough to be my grandchild before.

Baby roach running across table, one steak raw, one steak excessively thin cut, out of roles and about 10 other things, food not hot, cheesecake still frozen, the hostess tried to steer us to another restaurant twice (we should have listened). This place will be out of business in no time. Don’t waste your money just to get a headache and crappy food.

After a fifteen minute wait in a half empty restaurant we were seated. We ordered an appetizer, shortly after we ordered our meals. The salads came out with wilted lettuce and moldy tomatoes and I was notified that along with being out of rolls they were also out of cheese. Our server told us she had bad news, only one of us could have mashed potatoes as a side… Because they ran out of mashed potatoes. Our appetizer never arrived, but it did show up on our bill! Also, the Kansas City Bone In Strip Steak had no bone in it. After asking our server about it she assured us that the Kansas City Bone In Strip Steak did not come with a bone in it. I would recommend closing off the Kitchen area, servers yelling at each other and at the cooks is not what I like to see when I’m dining. This is by far the most disorganized establishment I have ever encountered. I will not be back.

First time Here and it was not pleasant. The women’s bathroom was nasty. Toilets was nasty wirh stuff all over the floor. The waitress was slow and all we order was burgers and salad.

This location in particular could really use some work, I’ve seen tables who have not been greeted for MINUTES.
These people literally look so confused, and they look around waiting to be welcomed into the restaurant.
It’s technically supposed to be thirty seconds after the people are sat.
The server will finally get there with slightly burnt bread, and ask if they’d like to try a roadhouse tea.
That wait couldn’t even be cured by one of those.
I saw this couple wait for their food for almost fourty-​five minutes, and their rolls were cold.
You could see that they were infuriated the whole time, and very displeased with their server’s work ethic.
They signed their check, and their faces were cherry bomb red.

This is a prime example of bad management, they put their favorites on the best sections and drive out their good servers.
I wanted to let everybody know that I saw this from the inside, yes, I worked there.
It was miserable to watch this happen.
I even offered to take that table as soon as they sat down, but the server was ignorant enough to make them wait forever.

They saw that I was good, but the old management drove me out, my co workers were rude and everybody only gave a damn about themselves.
Here is the reason for all the bad reviews:
They don’t have a team, just an army of dumb people.

It was very slow. The service was not up to standard at all. It took a very long time to get the order. The waitress just didn’t stop by as one would expect either. I was disappointed as I usually like Logans.

I just can’t seem to like Logan’s very much, but it seems like this location is especially «meh». The food seems to lack in quality and so does the service. When I have been before, I generally get the vegetable skewer and every time the veggies come uncooked. Seems like they just throw it on a grill for 30 seconds and brush it with salty garlic butter. The waiters seems to come across as inconvenienced by their patrons, which I have always found odd in a restaurant setting. On one occasion, I saw one waiter smack our waitress on the butt, then go right back to serving the hot rolls. I don’t care about the butt smack, but I’m not too interested in butt smack hand hot rolls. I think most of the issues could be fixed with better overall management, but who knows. I doubt I will go back… unless it is against my will.

Don’t waste your time or stomach space. There are so many great restaurants in Nashville, and this is NOT one of them. It was a beautiful Tuesday night, and I wanted to sit outside. The hostess handed me a menu and silverware and told me to seat myself. There weren’t many tables outside that weren’t occupied, full of dirty dishes, or wobbly. After seating myself, I waited a good 15 minutes before anyone even approached me. I thought about leaving and wish I had. They were out of the lemon shandy beer on special. They were out of Blue Moon. They had Sam Adams Oktoberfest. Not really what I want in August. I was left with a disappointing choice of a few weak American beers. The waitress brought bread which was greasy, wet and pale, almost looked raw. The outdoor seating is also where all of the people congregate who only want to drink and smoke. One guy was even stumbling around with his own bottle of Hennessey in hand.
I had the cedar plank salmon with «moonshine sauce», which was OK, but didn’t come with a little cup of sauce as it was shown on the menu. I had mashed potatoes and the veggie skewer. Also just OK, that’s why I’m giving it one star. Also, the waitress did feel bad and try hard to serve me once she discovered that I was there. Still not worth it. I mainly wanted a place I could walk to from the Homewood Suites hotel so I could enjoy some adult beverages without driving. If you are in the same boat, walk down the street to J. Alexander’s, an unimaginable million times better. Or take Über downtown to someplace with good reviews.

We just left the hospital and stopped for a bite to eat to celebrate a new addition to the family with other family members, were from Jax Fl. So this was our first experience at Logan’s since we don’t have them where were from. When we first got there we were seated and waited 15 min for a waitress to take our drink order. Waited another 10 min for our drinks to come out. We put our orders in and explained we were going to also order a to go order and asked if it could be ready by the time we were leaving and the waitress assured us it was not a problem, we asked our waitress questions about the menu since it was our first time portion sizes and things to that nature. She had no answer for any of our questions and had to leave the table 4 different times to get the answers. On her 4^th trip back to the kitchen the adults decided we would all order fish to make it easy on her, the kids all had steak tips cooked medium and the to go order was chicken strips, we asked for our side salads to come out before our meal. That did not happen. When our meal came out 2 sides of broccoli were missing she promised to bring them right out but they NEVER came. The kids steak tips were over cooked. My tilapia was ok, but I added on a grilled lobster tail that was also VERY VERY over cooked and very rubbery. My husband and son had salmon and they both said that was excellent, after waiting over 45 min for our meal and sides that never came and being fed up with the whole ordeal we asked for the check and to go order we waited another 10 min for the check and another 20 min for our to go order bc she forgot to put it in. On our way out of the place I noticed everyone had a basket of dinner rolls that looked AMAZING unfortunately I will never know what they tasted like bcuz our waitress never brought us any, I was curious if she was new so I could at least excuse some of her actions but when I asked I was told she had been there over a year! 10 min into. The car ride back to the hotel my stomach was in knots I asked my husband to pull over and threw my meal up. Guess it was the lobster! Very disappointed with the whole experience and food, I will NEVER EVER eat at this place and highly recommended no one else does either!

Good food! Great service!
Their rolls are amazing! I had the blackened chicken salad and the chicken was very good but the salad was a little watery. It was still good. The fellas had steak and ribs. The ribs were falling off the bone and tasted amazing.
We’d eat there again.

I have been to this location a few times for take-​out but this time I decided to dine-​in with a co-​worker for lunch.
We were greeted by a nice gentleman who sat us promptly & introduced us to our server, Ricky.
Ricky was pleasant who brought us fresh rolls & took our drink orders. I went to the restroom to wash my hands and the female restroom was clean.
When I arrived back to the table Ricky was ready to take our order. I ordered the anything & everything salad with no bacon & honey mustard dressing. My co-​worker ordered the salmon with a baked potato & side salad. As we waited on our food I kept swatting a fly & gnats that maybe were attracted to my water with lemon and/​or the sweet rolls, nevertheless; I was getting annoyed. I was pressed for time so we couldn’t leave. Our food arrived & I was pleased with the presentation of my salad that looked fresh & it was delicious. Unlike my co-worker’s overcooked salmon & lukewarm potato that she sent back. The manager came out and was able to rectify her order & she was pleased.
Good food and service but could use a gnat fumigation.

I have eaten here on several occasions and each time I leave disappointed. Today’s particular concern was that my server, Tracy, was not particularly frequent and visiting my table, but more importantly was not frequently checking to see if my food was ready to bring to the table. How ordered a salad as a side to Monterey and I ordered an appetizer in addition to my entrée. The entrée came out first. I asked about the salad and he told me they were still in the back making them. Somehow the kitchen was able to cook 16 ounces of ribeye quicker than I could make a Caesar salad. After my entrée came out, I asked about my appetizer. I was seated near the rear kitchen door. He went into the kitchen and produce them immediately upon being reminded. So I ate my entrée first, followed by my appetizer. I had to ask yet again about the Cesar salad. And I have never ate a meal in reverse before.
I came here about once or twice a year over the last four years. I’m guessing I have made about 6 to 7 visits to this location. Each time the service is just disappointing.

There was no host to greet us The bar service wasn’t very friendly at first. Then Walt came on for his shift! He was a ball of energy and fun! Their happy hour is top notch! Food can be labeled as traditional bar food.

We just left after waiting over 30 mins for a burger, just one burger. The waitress was nice but the kitchen needs to get it together!

Super fun place to go to! They have a lot of traditional foods, but also some fun quirks. Peanuts to much on at the table and you can throw the shells on the floor. Itty bitty bucket sundaes that are delicious!!! The rolls are pretty amazing unto themselves.
Good drink selection, servers were beyond friendly. Just a good joint all around. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

A friend and I went about noonish. Had to wait 5 minutes for a table to get cleaned off, which was no big deal. When our table was ready the hostess gave us the menus and pointed us to where we needed to go. She did not seat us or give us silverware. We waited on our waitress to get us drinks and tired of waiting we finally went up to the bar to grab waters. The food was very good, the service was not.

We got there at about 8:10 with a group of 15. It was about an hour later everyone had arrived and we were seated at the back and Matt was our server. He was helpful as we re-​arranged the tables slightly. He took our drink orders and brought out boatloads of bread! I will be the first to say had a few picky eaters in the group. He had pitchers of water as well as sweet and un-​sweet tea on the tables and brought out plenty of glasses. That was a wonderful move! We really appreciated that. He took our orders quickly and in a way that was easy for him to later separate the checks. There were no complaints on the food when it came out. Except one and I hate to say it but it was mine. It was brought out about 10 min after everyone else’s and it was cold. Matt removed it from our bill and I was fine with that. I did have a delicious side ceasar salad and enjoyed it.
Here’s why they only get 3 stars (in case a manager sees this and cares) When you have a group of that size it would be nice to have people helping to run food and drinks out. Serving 15 people especially when half the table is ordering from the bar is not easy. So why no one else was helping to run food or drinks is beyond me. This is when teamwork can not only come in handy but it can also result in more tips. And happier customers.

Excellent service from our waitress Austin. The food came out quickly and was exactly what we needed after a long night out for New Years.

This place was terrible. The service was slow. The waiter was distracted and left us sitting for over 20 mins unattended. I had to go to the bar to get a beer because he didn’t come check on us. We wanted to get our food to go so that we could get back to the hotel after 7 hours of driving … thinking it would be quick. It took over an HOUR to get food only to get back to the hotel and realize my steak was WAY overcooked, salad was weak and we got TWO rolls.
Texas Roadhouse is so much better for quick steak meals.
Glad I’m not from Nashville. What a disappointment.
