Seriously terrible. «Ms.Kelli» is the rudest business owner and cares more about putting her boobs in men’s faces than she does anything else. The place is gross. Also, tons of underaged people seeing as it’s extremely easy to sneak in the back. Don’t waist your time. I feel terrible for the nice bartenders having to work under such poor management.

The reviews are a little harsh… and I get the complaints haha. This was the first place I went to while I was in Nashville. I love karaōke and it was the first place I found… and it was in famous printers alley.
Honestly. It’s kinda what I imagine a tennessee karaōke bar to look like. Smokey. Kinda divey. Kinda bleh. Felt like a great place for a budweiser and terrible karaōke singing. I got to sing 10 minutes after outing in a song. Not too bad.
This place ain’t classy… but there’s a charm to places like that sometimes. Open wayyy late night too

Avoid this place. Would I’ve it zero stars if I could. MC was obviously more interested in playing songs for his friends than the actual paying customers. We saw numerous round of MC’s friends come in after us and have their songs played while our songs were never played. Much better places to spend your money.

I’ve been to this place several times, and regret every minute of it. They are a cancer on Printers Alley. Their sidewalk promoters are aggressive and annoying. This place is the definition of noise pollution, with their annoying whines echoing through the alley and even into neighboring businesses.
With Printers Alley quickly becoming an attractive place to hang out, particularly at Fleet Street and Skulls Rainbow Room, we all eagerly await Ms. Kelli’s closing. Whether that is due to financial reasons, health code violations, or, hell, even a Molotov cocktail… we will welcome it.

This is one of the best kept secrets in Nashville! I’m not sure what the negative reviews are about. Kelli started as a cocktail waitress in 1991 and devoted her life to Printers Alley and it’s amazing history. I am a Nashville native and this place IS Nashville. Great karaōke, superior sound, and a good clean bar. This place is a true gem.

Fabulous time at a divey bar that allows smoking inside! Polite and attentive staff with a fun party atmosphere to boot! The karaōke hosts were nice, helpful, and fun to talk to (unlike some places I have been). My only complaint was the lack of PBR in cans, but that seems to be a standard here. Thanks for a good time.

Not only have I been here and experienced rude staff, but even better, the owner denied service to someone based on their sexual orientation, while making it even more deplorable by calling her an it. What a disgusting establishment. Visiting Nashville, avoid the crappy food, bad smells, and hateful people. Living in Nashville, be outraged she’d give our city such a reputation.

The bar tender shook a drink all over me. I’m pretty sure she was dunker than I was. The place was nasty and the service was horrible. Skip this crappy hole in the wall and head to Lipstick Lounge.

Oh Printer’s Alley. You are home to those fantastic gritty, late night Nashville adventures and I love you for it. Ms. Kelli’s is never my first stop… I always somehow end up here and that’s OK with me.
Who doesn’t love a musty basement smell, cheap jell-​o shots, karaōke, and flashing lights? They have a dance floor in front of the stage and drink prices aren’t bad. It’s not my favorite place to karaōke, but it does the trick in a bind.
However, the last time I went the karaōke guy forced us to get this really annoying app to sign up for karaōke (not sure what happened to just putting your name and song on a piece of paper). Not gonna lie, it was difficult to set up after a few drinks in, and our group gave up after a while. Why you gotta do that to us Ms. Kelli? Otherwise, it’s a fun time and not bad for what it is!

The blonde older bartender tried so hard but just couldn’t get anything more than one star. The African American gentleman out front that pulls you in is spot on and is very conceiving but the blonde «milf» couldn’t make anything as simple as a pineapple and rum. It was beyond the worst of anything I could have ever had. And I was in the navy and have had too many pineapple and rums. She’s nice. But it’s not enough. I ordered a shot of fireball as a replacement so that pretty extremely hard to mess up so she could at least pour it into a shot glass. The atmosphere is nice. If you have any other bartender I’m sure it’s going to be a good experience.

It’s a Dive Bar! Get’s crowded, Smoking is allowed. My review has nothing to do with that, but I got 3 bud lights and a water, they charged me $ 65 dollars on my card, and said that’s what they had on my tab. I repeated and said, I only had 3 bud lights and a water, this is impossible. They said, all it takes to order on my tab is my name and someone must have ordered. My last name is foreign and very unusual. Plus, that is not how you argue charges to your tab. If that is how you operate your business, you have a lot of room for robbing people, which is what happened to me. I was robbed here by the Bar Tenders.

Tried to get in after a concert wearing an AMERICAN tank top but was told «No Tank Tops» yet I watched someone walk out wearing a tank top and immediately after me they let someone in with a Tank Top. I will never go back and the guy with the man bun can suck it.

If you don’t mind a little smoke, and want cheap beer and drinks while you get your karaōke on, then Ms. Kelli’s may be the place for you!
The biggest plus? The DJ keeps the place hopping between singers with some great tunes that will have you dancing on the dance floor up front in no time at all. And with $ 3 beers located in a large bucket right next to the dance floor– you will be sure to be strutting and singing!
But if you want to sing– you better be ready to tip the DJ or else you will sit and sit and sit. And please don’t go asking the bartender for some «high falutin’» drink. . you’re gonna be disappointed as standard mixers and beer are the de riguer here (along with some jello shots, or so I hear!)
Printers Alley has tons of karaōke choices. But Ms. Kelli’s is one of my favs. .. .even if I smelled like an ashtray when I left the joint!

Very disappointed with my visit here. Started off having a good time, cheap beers, $ 1 jellos shots, and karaōke. Wasn’t too crowded but was having fun and talked to the people that were there. Then I found a clearly intoxicated girl literally laying on the bathroom floor.
Another girl told the bar tender to get some help and they immediately kept telling me to get her out of there and that she couldn’t be caught in there.
1 I didn’t even know the girl but was the one carrying her out of the bar and
2 Why would you continue to serve someone till that point? Especially if she looked so young.
Sorry, any time I go out to have fun and end up having to take care of a stranger who was clearly over served because it seems as if they just would have left her out there on her own AND have to pay for my $ 20 bar tab after doing so, is not a bar I would recommend or visit again.

I expected better because there were decent word of mouth reviews…
We tipped them to jump on the list and one hour later, not even called to sing. Nashville tourists, there are plenty other karaōke bars that honor a good tip. Skip this one.
