I just bought a mattress and box spring for our guest room as the current mattress is a torture experience. Guests don’t stay long but I actually want them to stay so we had to do something. Tasia helped me and so was so helpful and attentive and was able to balance helping me and another customer without either of us feeling neglected. She encouraged me to try out the mattresses and was able to tell me quickly which were in stock. I chose one and found out I got a free 19″ TV from best buy and also free delivery. It is 20.00 to haul off my old set but this is because they send them to be recycled by homeless people — a program started at belmont university. Also they employ the contributor Elvis guy by the old hickory and highway 70 mcdonalds. They hired him as a sign spinner. I really like their commitment to the environment and social justice. Also they can deliver tomorrow and as I have a guest arriving Tuesday for thanksgiving, I am thrilled!

We recently purchased a king sized Tempurpedic mattress from the Sleep Outfitters on Highway 70 in Bellevue. The task of finding the right mattress, then finding the best price — is not an easy one. We visited every major mattress store, plus a discount mattress store on the other side of town. Sleep Outfitters seem to have the best price for the type of mattress we wanted. (This was, of course, after we spoke with them about the prices around town — this company wants to win your business, so they match or beat prices.) The manager at this particular store, Terry, is helpful and kind. She was more than willing to answer any and all of my questions. She is a bit of an oversharer (I didn’t need to know the details of her divorce), but she was willing to stay past closing time so I could test mattresses, and she gave me information for any and all mattresses so I could compare around town.
We ended up purchasing our mattress and were excited about free delivery! We scheduled the delivery for a few weeks out (we were still shopping for a bed frame) and that was that!
Our delivery experience was less than awesome. We has originally asked if they could deliver to us as late as possible in the day due to the nature of our work. They said «No problem! The delivery crew will coordinate with you completely.» GREAT! The night before our delivery we received an automated reminder call from the delivery company telling us our delivery time was between 11am and 1pm. We remembered scheduling for later, knowing neither of us would be home during that window, and attempted to call the customer service center back. No luck. We could not reach anyone to help us understand how to change our time. We ended up calling the you store we purchased the mattress from, and the manager said it was out of her hands, but she would see what she could do for us. She gave us a call back by the end of the night and told us the delivery truck leaves from Huntsville, she made a note for them, and assured us they would deliver later in the day.
Of course, the next day. Delivery day. The truck crew calls at 11am to inform us they are on their way to our house. They never got any messages from the store or customer service and they were not going to wait until later in the day. We ended up having an unecessarily stressful day, my Husband having to race home from work at 11am despite our efforts.
So, if you are looking for a good mattress, Sleep Outfitters may have qualty mattresses for you at a descent price — but you may need to handle a little hassle along the way.
By the way, the mattress, is incredible comfortable. We are sleeping like babies.
