This little spot is a little off the beaten path, but worth the detour. The owner is real cool(and I love the beard!) and inspiring at the same time. The innovated menu with choices of breakfast food, pastries and coffee… you can’t go wrong with any choice or choices! Stop by if you can and support the local business. Plus I was loving the men with beards who kept coming in

I had the sweet potato whoopie pie on my visit and it was delicious. Not too sweet and the pie was perfectly spiced. This is by far my favorite coffee shop, go to place for sweets and their sandwiches are equally as tasty!

The food here really makes this place shine. Between the pastries that are quite rich and inventive to the decadent sandwiches, you really can’t go wrong. Highlights include the Basic Biscuit and the Flava Flaav. I was also surprised to learn that they make their own bourbon syrup from Belle Meade Bourbon to use in their bourbon lattes, which really stand out. Overall, a fantastic addition.

We really enjoyed visiting Slow Hand Coffee on 10th street in Nashville. The coffee was smooth and the locally made chai delicious. They went out of their way to accommodate our plant based diet. The chipotle salsa was tasty combined with greens and roasted tomatoes, wrapped in a toasted flour tortilla. Nick the owner is super nice too!

These guys have done a nice job for a corner coffee shop in the growing part of nashville. They are offering a large selection of homemade bakery items made in house. They also have some of the modern coffee brewing techniques in place. I have to say that the pastries were a little bit too heavy and overdone for my tastes. I could’ve done with some simple muffin options instead of the chocolate caramel frosted muffins. I did try the sweet potato donut and it was a bit dense and dry and would have been better without the granular sugar coating.

Ridiculous eats!!! Definite eats include the pinklemonde bar and the hey Jude. I had both. I can now die a happy man. Coffee off the chain. And a friend of ours had a latte. She had pace herself it was so good. You know when you are full but still wanna eat more. You find yourself staring at your fork trying to will the next bite. This is it! My wife had the basic biscuit with steak and the cheese lovers quiche. She nearly fell out of her chair. The biscuit was literally melt in your mouth phenomenal. People say that but rarely is it true. This is so true it’s stupid. The cheese lovers quiche. Super rich with a perfect flaky butter crust. Nick is an incredible chef and his skill is only surpassed by his ability to host and make you feel welcome. Very humble and very accommodating.

Best followup in this space so far. Unlike their predecessors, they seem to «get it» in many ways. A great addition to the scene on 10th and for Cummins Station.

This place is great. They have the most amazing assortment of pastries I’ve seen and they’re always fresh. A lot of them are gourmet recreations of childhood favorites like animal crackers and fudge rounds. Friendly staff too. Definitely recommend as a local coffee stop. Much better than Starbucks.
