Love this bar. Great draft beer selection with fairly consistent rotation of certain handles. Attentive bartenders. Only tried one sandwich(All Nighter I think it was called), but it was great. Live music most nights which can be a little overbearing. Outdoor patio seems like it will be great in warm weather.

Well, It’s been three months, and I’ve been back enough times to justify a review update. The Country has impressed me over the last few visits. First off, my hope of seeing taps rotated? It’s happening! They have a great selection, including some Michigan beers(but hey, I’m partial) and high-grav options. In truth, my friends and I never come here to drink cocktails, but their menu looks promising, and I am sure I’ll try some eventually. I also don’t usually come here to eat, but that may be changing soon as I recently has an amazing burger, with an aioli to die for. While I did not attend their New Years Eve party, I stopped by the night after and got a glance at the photo back drop, ice luge sculpture and NYE menu, which certainly made it look like it would’ve been a great time. I’m excited to see what other events and musicians they have in the future. It is nice to have some live music on our side of town. I have to give props to Lee, the bartender who is there pretty much all the time. Seriously great service. Also, my friend lost his [beloved cowboy] hat the last time we were there and Lee helped us track it down. My friends and I will certainly continue to come to The County. Can’t wait for some warm weather patio drinks here next summer!

I loved this aptly named, distinctly Nashville bar and live music venue in Midtown. We visited friends for Vanderbilt homecoming and I’m glad we opted out of the downtown mêlée to be here. Despite the homecoming crowd, there was good service and plenty of room thanks to a spacious, warmly lit patio. I wish I caught the name of the band playing — they were really good. I didn’t have a chance to try anything on the menu but there is a great selection of local brews. I especially loved the brooding, industrial chic décor with all its details and custom touches — machinist stools line a long steel-edged granite bar, reclaimed Jack Daniel’s barrels serve as the sink base in the bathroom, and wall art features original U.S. patents for different musical instruments. I would love to have a venue like this in DC, but The Country rightly belongs to Nashville as a great homage to Music City.

I have mixed reviews about this place. Great area. Great remodel. It can be a bit empty at times which makes it kind of boring. Although, when there are people there then its rather fun. I’m sure its tough to have two bartenders as it appears slow a lot, however, it’d be nice to have more people tending bar when its busy. It takes a while to get a beer. Also, they need to change the name. The name really takes away from the chances of this place becoming popular. All in all though, not bad.

Great bar. Hannah was an amazing bartender. She took great care of us. We were here on two different nights and both bands were great. Highly recommended.

Came by with coworkers for a few drinks after work. Chris at the bar is super cool and made an excellent beer recommendation for me. There wasn’t a live band going only the point but as someone with 10+ years as a DJ I could say the music equipment here is quite good. I would definitely come back to here some live music.

I am a guy who enjoys a good whiskey in a good place and this is definitely one of the best. I’ve been in Nashville for a couple of months and been to enough number of bars including the famous Honky Tonks and loved them, The Country was the best. It helps that I live pretty much next door to the place but that’s not the only reason. Their selection of alcohol is amazing and the beer rocks! The bartenders are amazing and super friendly too! Always a plus point! The classic looking patio goes amazingly well with the setting. I really liked it the other time when there was a slight drizzle and I was starting to get a light buzz. All in all, definitely a great place to be!
