When Kat Walk first opened they had a tent out in the parking lot filled with piles of shoe boxes and a sign proclaiming«All Shoes $ 19.99.» I was mildly intrigued, but thought it was just another one of the temporary street vendors who populate Gallatin. As it turns out, Kat Walk is a legitimate store that just wanted some grand opening attention. I still didn’t bother to stop in until I kept seeing girls around the scene in amazing shoes they got from Kat Walk. I finally took the plunge and was so glad I did. The shoes are amazing and all so affordable. Unlike most cheap shoe stores, the shoes here aren’t flashy in the bad tacky way so often as in the hip, funky tacky way. Easy Nash girls, you know what I’m talking about. Check out the photo of the awesome gold-tipped pumps I bought. Finally I won’t tear up my heel taps dancing at basement parties or stumbling around 5 Points. The only drawback was that I couldn’t find a lot of 91/2s or 10s which is what I wear. The guy behind the counter told me Fridays is when the new stock comes out so I’ll try back then(that’s just between you and me, though). He also took my phone number and the style number of a green and silver pair I wanted in case he got some in my size.
