Such a cute place! Super nice staff. Got the veggie burger and it was one of the best burgers I have had!

For the best pretzel buns of your life, you must come here. None of us had ever had a pretzel bun worth talking about, but we will be talking about these for a long time to come. And they had a great selection and great tasting mules.

Pretty good local place. A lot of different beers to choose from. We tried the pretzels and sausage platter. Everything was pretty good, staff could be a little friendlier. A little pricey for what you get.

So, this place is pretty cool. You must be 21 or older to enter the main dining/bar area– no infants allowed– but me and Jack sat outside because it was nice! The owner was super nice as was the bartender/server — and super efficient and helpful! I was really craving a burger– but they didn’t have one(just a black bean burger) but I ordered the Brat Reuben instead. It was pretty good. However it only came with regular olé potato chips on the side(I’m sure there were other options, but that was the standard). Just thought it could have been a bit more homemade– like homemade chips or something– but it’s cool. Their take on a Rueben Is a beer brat on a pretzel bun with the toppings of a Reuben– not what I initially wanted– but i would probably choose it again. The rest of the menu looked pretty good– definitely not your typical«bar food» place– you have much more of a selection to choose from. Pretty good draft beer selection as well– and good cocktail menu. The inside is really cool– smaller than expected but super cozy and nice. And there are a bunch of board games on one side of the place, so it would be a fun place to hang with friends! The porch patio was equally cool– and perfect for Jack and I. They seem to have good brunch and weekly drink specials too. I will definitely be back.

In Nashville from Memphis for the weekend and I found a great spot for a late night bite and good beer. Logan led me towards a great IPABY Bearded Iris and my stuffed pretzel Rueben Brat was just what I needed.

My buddy and I’ve been trying to find a little, warm, welcoming pub near our home, and this place is it! After reading all the other reviews here we chose to attempt it. There’s a pleasant veranda which was warm even though it absolutely was about 20 exterior, and also the interior is modest but nicely done with a great deal of wood including a wood pub! The sandwiches are wholly served on pretzels and are yummy!!! There’s additionally a small but varied collection of beers. We’ll definitely be going back!

Stopped in for some late night food after hitting the Grand Olé Opry. This place was great! It had a large selection of local craft brews and the bartender and staff were super friendly. We had the pesto chicken with goat cheese(my favorite) and the gyro which both came on pretzel bun. Both were very good and i would definitely go back.

Stopped in for dinner and drinks on our first night in Nashville. We loved the atmosphere on the porch… lively yet not overly loud, with dogs welcome. We tried the pretzel sandwiches and we’re thoroughly impressed. There was a decent selection of local beers as well, and the orion cake for desert was really great, although it came out frozen and we had to wait for it to thaw a bit… worth the wait but it sat there teasing us for a bit first!

Great place to go and have a beer and some sandwiches if you and your friends just want a chill night. Not many TVs but they have board games that make the time fly by.

We were in Nashville for a concert during Snowzilla, and this was literally the only restaurant we could find that was open. It was packed to the gills, inside and out. The patio was enclosed and heated, but it was still surprising to see people sitting outside on such a cold night! Shortly after walking in, a group was getting ready to leave and waved us over to take their seats. Everyone was like that, too: very friendly, like they were happy to see more people walk into this packed bar. The crowd was distinctly hipster, with plenty of people who looked college age. But it seems like the kind of bar that would be a good regular spot. You know, the kind of place where everybody would know your name and the bartenders would know right away what you wanted. My sense of the place might be a skewed, though, what with the snowstorm and the fact that no other restaurants in the area were open. It might not normally be like that. The menu was kind of limited, but everything we ate was tasty. Service was insanely slow, but the place was also insanely busy. Beer selection was awesome. Looked like the main cocktails were variations on Moscow Mules, so that’s probably worth trying. I stuck with beer, and my partner hates Moscow Mules, so she just drank diet soda. The pretzel sandwiches were good, although the amount of pretzel got overwhelming towards the end. I would consider this a good drinks spot, but I wouldn’t go there for dinner. The soft pretzels are worth ordering for a snack, though. Mostly, I was impressed that they were open with 10″ of snow on the ground, and we were grateful that they were! Otherwise it would have been sad microwave meals in our hotel room.

Hooray for Village Pub! Been here SEVERAL times and have always been well taken care of. The entire staff is quite friendly, very attentive, and actually understands the word«teamwork». However, I do have to admit, Logan is one of the best! I believe that poor lady works EVERY Mule Monday(½ prices mules *cannot* be beat!) and not once have I seen anything other than a smile on her face. She has to be one of the most attentive, knowledgeable, and courteous servers/people I’ve ever met. Did I mention the stuffed pretzels?!? They are so good. Especially when they even have 2 options for a vegetarian, like me! Their appetizers are quite tasty, too! Even though the mules are phenomenal, the beer selection isn’t too shabby. Just ask one of the servers/bartenders; they have yet to steer me wrong. Bottom line: Give Village Pub a chance. I did and have been quite enamored ever since!

I want so bad to like this place. I’ve had it bookmarked for ages. It has all the good beginnings of a good place… pet friendly patio, good craft beer selection, soft pretzels, ample parking. The number one thing this place has working against it is the service. Most employees are friendly enough, but they have no idea how to run a restaurant. Simple things like bringing out silverware, napkins, or plates with appetizers, and most importantly not feeling like you are putting someone out when you ask them for basic necessities. We got their soft pretzel appetizer with cheese. Both the cheese and the pretzel tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp since the night prior. The cheese dip also was horrible, but that’s just personal preference. For as long as it took to get it out, it should have been fresh. We were starving from hiking all morning so we both ordered a sandwich. I got the gyro and hubs got the Reuben. They actually were pretty decent, but for $ 10 a sandwich I expect more than off brand Ruffles potato chips. My dog was the only happy individual when we left the bar. We will not be back.

Finally got a chance to stop back up and glad to report all’s well! No sign of Greta, but the pretzel is still delicious(management really needs to consider our suggestion of serving the pretzel with butter — and not just stoneground mustard). Got the cheese and meat platter again, and enjoyed it. Beer selection this time was a Calfkiller John Henry Mild and Jackalope Rombo Red Rye. Great place, great vibe. We’ll be back!

A hidden gem of Riverside Village and East Nashville. I sincerely love this place for its ever-changing rotation of local beers on tap, as well as its usual wide selection of drinks at the bar. I always prefer to sit outside on the patio which, during the fall/winter months, is nicely heated by some wall-inset heaters and an enclosed clear plastic drape. The interior is not too bad, either, as there is a combination of large and small group seating, as well as seating at the bar. In the busiest times, it can be a little difficult to find seating, but this is just an indication of how much Village Pub is worth it. As for the menu, this is pretty close to German-style beergardens without the actual garden. Any of their pretzel sandwiches are filled with a plethora of fresh toppings and great tasting condiments. I always get the two pretzel appetizer with stone ground mustard and cheese dip, perfect for sharing or eating alone as an entrée. During busy times, parking in the direct adjacent lot can be a bit of a pain, but thankfully there is Peking available across the street. Seriously, with Mitchell’s Deli and a manufacturing point for Jeni’s Ice cream nearby, Riverside Village is an awesome place to try if you happen to be in the Inglewood area.

This is one of those places that I always forget about… and then am SO happy when I remember it again. Their Mules are delicious and very reasonably priced at $ 6.25. They are also always served in a chilled pewter mug– so many places these days are going away from those. They also have a nice beer selection. As far as food goes, their selections include stuffed pretzels(sandwiches on pretzel bun), cheese and charcuterie plates, and pretzels with dip. I appreciate being able to order just something to snack on or a more substantial meal. I’m super into their pretzels with beer cheese and stone ground mustard. The ambiance at this place is great as well. The porch is a great place to enjoy nice weather and is dog friendly. They also have plenty of board games to entertain.

So after about 40,000 OkCupid dates at various bars, coffee shops and restaurants in Nashville I finally found my person and this is our place. We came here on our 3rd date with a the vague pretense of him teaching me how to play D&D(I know, but he was really cute so I just rolled with it). We had a great evening and have been back dozens of times. I love Village Pub. It is exactly the kind of place that we need more of in Nashville: affordable, great music, friendly, tasty and unpretentious. Food: I usually get the portobello sandwich or two pretzels with beer cheese. Solid, always good. Beer: they have two sizes of beer. This is great! Go give these guys all your money. Mules: I had never had a ‘Moscow Mule’ before Village Pub and they are lovely. My favorite is the ‘English Ass’ with gin and it has never done me wrong. I’m not sure why I’m using air quotes with these drinks. Forgive me. Non-booze: I regularly hangout with a guy who doesn’t drink alcohol and a place with flowing, quality ginger beer makes us both happy. This is his favorite in town.

I keep coming back because it’s close and something charming about it all. With the warmth of an Irish Pub and the approachability of your local bar — the Village Pub beacons you to sit and enjoy a high gravity beer with a fresh pretzel. Being Bavarian — I know good pretzels. Just kidding, pretzels are pretty hard to screw up BUT the beer cheese and the way The VP does pretzels are on point! They call them«stuffed pretzels» but they’re just sandwiches so don’t be mislead. The black bean burger is pretty delicious. They have a wonderful beer selection but the mules are icey cool and perfect for a Nashville summer. They have all different types of mules and each one is excellent in its own right. My servers have always been kind and welcoming — not pushing me to order me and always letting me know when happy hour is almost over. Perfect!

Just WOW. Excellent service, delicious meals, unique drinks and excellent ½ happy hour Mule drinks(highly recommended), might be one of my best spots to visit in Nashville). Off the beaten path and sort of a hipster paradise, but the people are friendly, laid back and conversational. Great outdoor seating. If you can get the bourbon street pretzel special, wow! You will not regret it. Soft pretzel sand which bun served hot with onions, peppers, cheese and Italian sausage. Pasta salad is worth the upgrade. Just yes! Spicy, fresh and delicious. I got $ 3 Moscow Mule and the Glasgow Mule(2). Drinks were literally the personification of perfection. My husband is active duty. He leaves again for Afghanistan in 8 days. He’d been at a military aviation conference at the Opry all day, arrived in his uniform, got the keys and changed in the truck(so he could drink). The extremely sweet, genuine and bad ass owner approached, shared that his father was a 40+ year Korea and Vietnam veteran and was so thoughtful for even saying hello. He served tables right along with his servers. What a class act. Will return. Great prices, great food, good people and awesomeness just done right.
