So, I’ve been looking around for a new scarf that wouldn’t be too bulky like the sagging crocheted ones I’ve been wearing for years. I also wanted something that would hold up on windy days, but I wasn’t quite sure what I needed… Then I saw Marcia. M.‘s review for What’s in Store, and started clicking around– and that’s when I saw it on their website. A scarf loop. Perfect. It won’t fly off, or get in the way when I’m bending down. They have loops in various materials and colors and .have.one. I finally got a chance to get out to Nashy today, and What’s in Store was at the top of my list. When I arrived, I was delighted with all the cute accessories in this little shop. Hats, fingerless gloves in girly colors, necklaces, cocktail rings, and a badass/sweetie dog that came out to see what the haps was. With the help of the sales girl, I tried on three different styles. Two were crocheted and looked of very high quality. Unfortunately they sat too high around my neck and accentuated my head fat. The third one sat a bit looser, was a bit longer, sparkle-ie, and had a really cool pink gradation to it. Yes. This was the one. I loved it. Oh, what’s that? It’s on sale? Sold. I can’t wait to wear it everywhere. Thanks Unilocal

I visited Whats In Store during the Edgehill Artisan Fair and scored a major deal with their special promotion! Buy 1, Get One Free for any 2 necklaces, rings, or earrings. I shit you not. My very loving and patient friends assisted me in making the final selections and I scooped up 2 locally produced gorgeous necklaces for a very affordable $ 60. The gold layered chain bib necklace is draw dropping and will stand out wherever I go whether in a little black dress or wearing denim. The other brass piece that I purchased has a vintage Chanel quality to it without the price. And. Yes. Major props have already been given to both pieces from adoring strangers and friends… SCORE! The shop girl was pleasant and let us know that Whats In Store can alter pieces and also create one of a kind pieces for their clients. I personally love this because I prefer to wear unique pieces instead of looking as if I stepped straight out of a Macy’s advertisement. (Not hating on Macy’s as I do buy my socks there but who wants to look like everyone else? Not this girl.) Whats In Store is a fine place to pick up reasonably priced gifts and to scoop up baubles that you will want to wear everyday of the week. I noticed pieces that ranged from $ 20-$ 150. Most of the pieces that I was interested in were around $ 30-$ 75 but a heavily trinketed necklace that was priced at $ 150 had my name all over it too. I will be sure to bring my boyfriend to the shop on my next visit… hint…hint.
