Both the Chinese dishes and the sushi are pretty good(although the special rolls like Rainbow Rolls are smaller than other restaurants) and the Natick Mai Tai is a treat. The service is inconsistent, though. More than one take out order has had the wrong food and the sushi bar is sometimes closed with no warning until after you’ve sat down and ordered a drink. Call ahead if you’re coming for sushi.

Amazing Chinese and Japanese cuisine! Sushi is top notch when available. I suggest the nigiri or Asia bistro maki. Crab Rangoon and general gau’s are delicious.

Scrolling through the alternating 1-star, 5-star reviews for this place the word«expectations» comes to mind. I’ve been going here for years as the location is convenient and the food is what I expect. One reviewer mentioned they were looking for an «authentic Chinese meal» — naturally, they were disappointed. Asia Bistro is an American Chinese food restaurant in the heart of suburbia. You’ll receive for a low price, regular quality pork fried rice, thoroughly average sweet and sour chicken, normal spring rolls, and just like my very white suburban mother-used-to-make beef and broccoli. Expect and you shall receive. The staff are friendly and brusque — this isn’t south carolina — order your food, pay, what more do you need? Pickup is fast, dinning in is also fast. Parking is super easy. Ordering online, while it looks nice, will take an extra 5 – 10 minute wait and they’ll want to swipe your card at the location anyway, as much as I hate calling people, it’s easier to just call.

Love the crispy duck here! We get takeout often, and it’s always good! Food is always fresh. We don’t get sushi here because it is a Chinese restaurant, not Japanese!

I hate to do it but I gotta say the food was not very good on my past visit. Got a pupu plater and fried rice. The chicken fingers and fried shrimp were very grease and way, way to much batter. The boneless ribs were really fatty and the wings had a few with broken bones… gross. I ended up throwing both them and the ribs away. The beef teriyaki, crab rangoons and egg roll were awesome. The fried rice was just okay. So I guess be careful what you order. Or go down to lotus flower in Framingham.

Terrible customer service. I ordered a simple order Pu Pu platter and egg fried rice. The guy asked me if I wanted vegetables in the fried rice I said no only egg. I get home with all of my fried food and rice only to find out that the fried rice was nearly black drenched in so I sauce beyond the ability to eat it and it was missing the egg. I wasn’t too excited about getting back into the car in the middle of the pouring rain to go back for the correct rice and leave behind all the fried food to get cold but I did. I simply went to swap the rice for what I had ordered and when I arrived the woman working there was so rude and blamed me for ordering it wrong. She smacked her lips and rolled her eyes and walked away in the middle of me explaining how I had ordered it in a polite manner. She was rude beyond belief when I asked the other guy working there if she was serious and why she is this way he told me she was the owner. The irony in all of this is that small mom-and-pop Chinese food places are being crushed by the big dogs if anything she should want to be nice to people to keep her customer base. This is a disgusting way for an business owner to act. NEVERAGAIN will she get my money. BOYCOTTTHISPLACE. Ugh

Went once years ago for the Chinese food, and remember it being okay. Heard good things about the sushi, so I tried it tonight. I ordered two maki rolls to go. For the price, I’m surprised they weren’t a little bit bigger. Spent $ 25 on two«complex» rolls, and the entire two rolls fit in a 3.5“x 5.5″ tray. One had salmon and tuna, and that one was pretty good, I’d say 3.5 stars. Rice was a little hard. 2nd was an Eel and avocado roll, and the eel was almost nonexistent, and the avocado was awful. It was hard, not ripe, and tasteless. 1 star on that roll. Not to mention that it was impossible to pick up because it did not stick to the roll. Every bite fell apart.

We went for the first time today. The food was very good and served nice and hot. The only thing we were disappointed in is that they gave us s menu without luncheon specials(it was 250 pm). I almost asked about specials but didn’t see any on the menu so assumed there were none. After leaving $ 45.00 later we picked up a menu for home to notice there were indeed luncheon specials offered until 3 pm. We wish we had been given the correct menu.

Very disappointing visit. I have liked this place for a long time. But since the business went up for sale, the quality has gone down hill. Employees don’t know the menu. The sushi chef needs the menu in front of him to be able to make the maki. Poor service at the bar with no refills

I brought my parents here around Christmas hoping to get an authentic Chinese meal and a memorable experience — but it was memorable for all the wrong reasons. Ambiance: The first thing you notice upon walking into the restaurant is the lack of any décor — it’s just plain white walls. The naked and unappealing interior could pass for a college student’s dorm room or an empty rental apartment with no furnishings. If if weren’t for the tables and chairs, you’d never guess you were in a restaurant, much less a Chinese restaurant. As such, Asia Bistro gets zero stars for its complete lack of ambiance. Service: The service was just downright awful. Unlike most Chinese restaurants, there is nothing on the table and you shouldn’t expect to be given anything unless you make a request. We had to ask for glasses of water, hot tea, and even chop sticks and soy sauce.(In my experience, if a Chinese restaurant gives you a knife and fork, you may be in for a disappointment). Ultimately, all those table items arrived, including cheap wooden chop sticks that you’d get at a Chinese take-out. Service was very hurried(even though we weren’t in a rush) and don’t expect any re-fills of your tea and water unless you ask. Also, the serving of the drink and food orders were so chaotic, with three drinks for three people all arriving separately; the appetizers arrived separately, and the main courses arrived together, but the rice that accompanied the main entrees arrived a few minutes later(Warning: Asia Bistro charges $ 2.50 for rice, which I think it outrageous if it’s part of the entrée. The waiter even made it sound like the rice was included by asking«White, brown, or pork friend rice with your entrée?») At the end of the main course, the check quickly arrived and I that was our cue to leave. We weren’t in a rush and the waiter never asked if we wanted coffee or dessert, so we paid and left. I can’t recall being so rushed even though there wasn’t a need to turn the tables. As such, Asia Bistro gets only one star for its poor service. Food: Arguably the most important part of any review is the food. So we ordered two appetizers(steamed dumplings and Phoenix soong) and two entrees(Chow Fun and Chicken & Cashew), and unfortunately the food did not make up for the above-mentioned deficiencies. All four items were rather bland and lacked any taste. All the food was served luke warm and not hot by any means. The Phoenix lettuce wraps were probably the best of the four items, but the restaurant is so cheap that they only give you a few end pieces of iceberg lettuce, which makes it hard to create a wrap. When I asked for more lettuce, the waiter brought back two little slices of lettuce. Seriously? For lacking both taste and temperature, Asia Bistro gets only one star for its cuisine. All in all, the dining experience at Asia Bistro was beyond disappointing, it was just downright bad. Mercifully though, since the wait staff rushed us throughout the meal, we were only there for about 45 minutes. The next time I’m in Natick, I won’t be coming back here.

The food here is pretty good but the prices are way better. There lunch specials are really cheap and the food is decent. Just like most Chinese food joints they pile it high in the to-go boxes as well. If you dine in for lunch the lunch specials come with soup as well!

I’d give zero star if there was such a rating. They treat their customers very bad. My wife and I have food allergies so we were trying to ask questions before we placed our order but the waitress was very rude to my wife and kept yelling at us. I’m not going here again ever and will spread this word to mu friends and colleagues.

My girlfriend and I tried this place based on the Unilocal reviews. I think that she’ll probably give it a higher rating than me. I was looking for a classic Chinese takeout candidate with great basics. We tried the crispy sesame beef, pork fried rice, and pan noodles with chicken, shrimp, and beef. While nothing was bad, everything was just a little greasier than I’d hope for and with pretty subdued flavors. The beef especially was a little tough and bland. The pan noodles were pretty good, but I mostly picked out the shrimp and beef. Overall it’s definately good from what we tried, but we’ll probably scope out a few more places before we give it another shot.

I love ordering lunch from this place — it’s very popular amongst my coworkers as well. I always get their Idaho Maki — it’s so delicious! We typically do pick-up, as it’s quicker, just down the road, and we’ve had some problems with deliveries from them. I definitely recommend their sushi.

I am a big fan of the lunch specials offered up at Asia Bistro. Their menu, filled with both Chinese and Sushi options gives you plenty of options to choose from – though I rarely stray from their delicious Chinese fare. I do find the food to be lacking a bit in heat and in depth, hence the reason I would recommend the lunch prices over the dinner. But it is still a great find in the heart of the suburbs!

We live close to this restaurant and get take-out probably once a week. Their sushi is high quality and their service is great. I put in a phone order one night and was running late. I got there five minutes after closing and they waited for me. If you’re getting take-out I recommend picking it up. They’re delivery takes a long time. They remodeled the interior about a year ago and it is quite nice inside. A nice place to watch a game.

This is practically across the street from my apartment, so my fiancé and I come here pretty often. The waitresses are really nice and have a good sense of humor. The service is fast and the food is reasonably priced. The only thing that I haven’t liked was the tofu, which was bland and watery. However, everything else that we’ve tried has been great. They also have a full bar with a good selection of mixed drinks, and some people seem to just come here for that. They seem to receive a ton of take-out orders, and the restaurant itself is usually pretty empty, which is actually very nice.

Called to find out if they would deliver to my address, 4.1 miles from their place and the girl said yes. So I called back to place the order after going through their big menu and she said my address, now that I had called back, seemed to far, that I needed to double check the distance. WTF? I again refresh google maps and try to tell her the distance and she’s too busy taking someone else’s order on another phone? Did I not just call 5 minutes ago and run my address by you for this very reason? LAME

Great service! So let’s stat just with that. The waitresses are great and have great personalities, that is a huge plus. From the outside this place doesn’t look like much and the. Interior is also nothing special — clean I guess is the best word to describe it. Now for the most important part… the food. I have gone here a few times still have not had the sushi but have had the Chinese and the Thai. With that said, things to definitely eat here: Broccoli Beef General Tsao’s(ask for extra hot if you want a good burn) Kung Pao Shrimp Stay Away From: Anything ToFu based… It was like a soup at best. I don’t know maybe it was something wrong with it that time. Overall this is a great place and I would say some of the better Chinese food in the area.

This is my go-to place for Chinese food. Love everything I order here from the spring rolls and dumplings, to the Kung Pao chicken. One of my chicken orders was a little fatty once, but other than that, food is good. Food comes in big portions. 2 people could share one take-out entrée. Get a bigger serving of rice because the small rice the entrée comes with is not even enough for 1 person. I don’t understand why they can’t give you a regular-size carton of rice for free, but I guess not all places operate that way… I’ve only ever done take-out so will have to try dine-in one of these days. Good place!
