The food here is always delicious and consistent. You guys have won over a diehard chipotle fan. I also don’t understand the complaints about the long wait and disorganized staff, my experience is always awesome. I’d like to also thank George the cashier, who is super friendly and attentive. I’d like to know if there’s some sort of rewards program or feedback program. Keep up the good work!

What is there left to say? This place is legendary. I was skeptical at first because my digestive system sometimes responds negatively to spicy foreign and exotic foods but Steven whipped me up an absolutely untamed Bangkok bowl that blew my balls off, in a good way. He even stopped by to help me clean my clothes off when I spilled some Asian slaw on my pants. The brown rice tasted better than a warm serving of justice and the Nutella milkshake unleashed a sense of righteousness in me comparable to that of when Lincoln freed the slaves. I’m gonna be honest I lost my cool a bit when I found out steven had made the decision to step down from his position of burrito maker/cash register guy, but was relieved to see that Alex, the successor to steven, had stepped up to the plate and accepted the role as the new burrito maker/cash register man. I mean that guy rolls up burritos faster than Chris Christie can eat them, and that’s saying something. All in all Boloco has some exotic and legendary burritos/bowls that wont give you rota virus like chipotle’s and second to none service from steven and alex.

The workers looked overwhelmed and it wasn’t packed, but it was a lunch rush. It took around 30 minutes for me to get my burrito

Boloco, why are you not everywhere? I consider myself a fan of Mexican«fast» food and often frequent Chipotle, Moe’s, Qdoba, Pancheros, etc. I’ve got my likes and dislikes at each and thought that I was aware of all of the bigger players with chains. I was not aware of Boloco and now I wish I had been a long time ago. I popped in here while on a day trip and visiting the nearby Natick Mall. The slogan«globally inspired burritos» on their signage caught my attention and I had to give it a shot, even though I had already settled on Smashburger for dinner. I decided to go for something small to give them a trial run. I ordered the buffalo chicken burrito(mini-size) with white meat(an upcharge). I was surprised that all of their chicken wasn’t white meat but at least they had the option. I also ordered the tropi-kale smoothie, because health. The burrito, although the smallest of four size options, wasn’t actually that tiny. It had a little heft to it and they really put a good amount of chicken. The cheese and rice portions were right too. The flavor was pretty decent. I wish the rice had cilantro but oh well. The sauce was not too hot where you couldn’t taste it but not mild. Smack in the middle. The kale smoothie was a lot healthier than I was expecting. You can tell it was blended with fresh fruit and actual kale — not just purée. I like that they use honey as the only sweetener. This is not some sweet«green machine,» it’s the real healthy deal. I like the fact that Boloco offers green smoothies. It’s hard for me to find kale options at actual juice/smoothie bars. Wish we had one of these back in Connecticut. All in all, even though I’m not from the area, I’ll definitely be back… and it won’t be for a mini! :)

This review was drafted in April, 2015… «Slightly better odds than Vegas?» I used to go about every week for a takeout. Overall, I like what they offer in terms of quality. However, with a big caveat. The fundamental problem with this establishment is they seem to have new staff all the time. As a result, the quality and quantity of your order is not consistent over time, as it tends to vary from preparer to preparer. For example, in my experience, some burritos were spicier than other even if the specs of my orders were completely identical. Similarly, an order of tofu was replaced with chicken a couple of times, and extra guacamole did not come through more than once. I would say these errors occurred slightly less than 50% of the times. You would have to be closely watching how your order was being prepared if you wanted to make sure. That, however, may not be possible or practical if the line is really long or you are busy with your smart phone or chat. I will update if I notice anything different next time.

I think I’m a little obsessive when it comes to Boloco. It’s quick, easy(especially now with the app), and delicious. Perfect for a quick take out dinner when you don’t feel like cooking. Boloco has made my life a hell of a lot easier.

Since writing my last review, Boloco has seriously stepped up their game. Although the prices are a little bit on the expensive side, the food is flavorful and the quality has greatly improved at this location. The employees are also extremely friendly and the outdoor seating is nice as well.

The chips were the best part. The menu sounded interesting with various combinations. Went with the mini pack so I could experience two of the options for Burritos. The minis are TINY, but was a good size for sampling. Unfortunately both(Cajun, Tika) were extremely bland

Great fast-casual Tex-Mex! Very clean place. Conaidering the location and customer traffic, the food gets done quickly. Not the biggest tofu fan but the tofu there is insane!

I would give this place a 5 star rating if it were just for the food(that’s if they actually had the food all the time). But this place needs new management ASAP. I come here often(because I don’t like Chipotle), and they are always out of something even when it’s not crowded(tonight they were out of chicken… And steak)… A lot of the times they don’t know what they’re out of until after you pay, and then it’s too late. There is zero communication and while they are frequently nice to the customers, they don’t seem very nice to one another(hence why there is a new person every time I come here). Worth going on the off-shoot that they have basic burrito ingredients in stock(and it might take you a few trips).

Just moved here from California and we were very concerned that we wouldn’t be able to find good burritos in MA. Crisis averted. Boloco is as good as any of our regular haunts in Cali. I deducted 1 star for the long lines.

Are you having problems with constipation? Well, you came to the right place. Food from this exquisite cuisine will have you sitting on the toilet for hours. In case you need some heartburn medicine after your lunch, not to worry, your neighborhood drug store is just around the corner.

Ok I don’t know what took me so long to try this place. Extremely clean, very friendly and funny staff and fresh food — you can’t really beat it. I came in with an order for work of 4 big bowls and a burrito — they turned this order around so quick I couldn’t believe it. My big bowl with quinoa, steak, black beans and corn salsa was delicious and tasted so fresh. I couldn’t believe how much steak they put in it. The only thing I would wish for is more seasoning. The quinoa was very bland. All of my co-workers loved their bowls and have already insisted we get food from there again. I also ordered the Mango drink. It was so perfect. The prices are great for what you get and the parking over here isn’t terrible since the lot is seperate from the mall parking.

Delicious! I love the menu(because I’m a picky eater, and it let’s you customize your order to a ‘T’ pretty much). They have cute, clever emails with specials and savings. Received an email today(save 2 $ because of the crappy rain outside) and it reminded me…“Hey, this place was awesome when we got it last week… let’s do it again!” Ordered for the office. Boloco has much fresher ingredients than the other burrito places in the area… the chicken isn’t that awkward-rubbery-fake charcoal-crap either, which I appreciate. Everyone was happy with their meal. My only qualm would be the online group ordering… it sent out the email invite about 25 minutes after it should have!(We had since cancelled the invite and just ordered ‘the regular way’). I definitely recommend going here for fast-healthy food.

Good food and online ordering is a snap. It is a fast food business. Employees come and go which reflects on the quality. Out of the past 10 times I ordered, they got it wrong except for twice. But it’s ok and I can eat anything on their entire menu. Today, I saw an employee inspecting food. I asked what’s going on? He seemed quiet and hesitant, I explained I need to know what you are looking at. I ordered food and if something is wrong, please tell me I will change my order. I’m not being rude, I need to know. He told me he was looking at the quality of the chicken, in which the dark meat and white meat look the same. Buddy, I fully appreciate you taking the time to ensure the food meets a certain standard. I thanked him for doing his job, took my order and left. Go ahead, mess up my orders every time, as long as I know the food is somewhat clean and upheld to standards, I will return. If you won’t eat something off the floor or is below standards, why should I?

Had to make a pit stop for a quick meal. I was looking for something hot on the run so I got a bean burrito. I use to go to the location in Boston and loved it but sadly I’ve been disappointed each time I’ve tried this place. My burrito was cold and the rice seemed under cooked making it crunchy. I may go again and continue to try it. Maybe 3rd time will be a charm.

I love Boloco. I love their twist on burritos. I love their rewards card. I love their soda machine. I love the staff there. I love online ordering. I have to say, their customer service is great too. If you email them with a question or problem, they are responsive and active. My daughter had a milkshake there and very soon after got sick. I think the milk or something in the shake was probably bad. We let them know and they immediately checked the quality of their products to see if there was a problem. We have not ordered a shake since, but we still eat there all the time.

It was my first time going to Boloco and I can definitely say I’ll be back again despite a few minor problems with filling the order. The Nutella milkshake was delicious. I also got the summer burrito without black beans and the mango salsa was perfect, especially considering the fact the weekend I went, it was so hot out so I didn’t want anything too heavy. They did seem to have some problems filling orders though because while my order didn’t take too long to get, my friend, who was right behind me in line, had to wait forever for her order to come up and even after it was made, it was just sitting there because they weren’t wrapping orders up to go. After pointing out which burrito was hers(not the next one in line even though she was the next one to order), finally we were able to get it wrapped up to go. If they were a little more organized in making the orders and then wrapping them up after they are made, rather than making a lot of other orders and then just wrapping them up at the end, it would be a lot faster and then customers wouldn’t have to spend so much time standing around waiting for their order to be ready.

Dear Friends, allow me to tell you why Boloco is King in my book: Today was my first time in the Natick location(Cleveland Circle is my fav, and you could fit that one about 6x over in Natick… but I still love it) and after a few hours of doing errands and dealing with obnoxious people on Rte 9, I was craving my steak burrito. Imagine my horror when the guy at the register said they were out of steak! Out of steak!!! Seriously… out of steak. This red-meat-loving gal didn’t know what to do, so I ordered a chicken burrito; if the saying goes not to cry over spilled milk, I can’t cry over no steak. Fresh cookies had just come out of the oven, so I figured I owed myself one of those, and when the nice guy(who had probably already heard«what, no steak??» 200x) swiped my Boloco card, I was only charged for the cookie. Now, here is a lesson to all restaurants, QSR(quick serve) or otherwise: when you are out of something, don’t start off by saying what you are out of. Turn it into a better/still good experience, as today was. Even if I did pay for the chicken burrito, I would still be a huge fan, but I think all of the steak lovers left happy today. Easy parking right out front, and then you can right back on Rte 9 to deal with the lunatics.
