I’ve been taking classes at DanceFIT for about a year now, since the Natick location opened. Ladies, it’s amazing! I’ve always been more of a pure cardio person(primarily running) than a classes/toning person, mostly because the classes I had previously tried to supplement my running, like yoga, had bored me. DanceFIT is great for me because it complements my running with toning and stretching in a totally fun way. I get to pretend that I’m a ballerina for an hour(and I am definitely NOT a ballerina) while working out the kinks and toning up my jiggly bits. And the classes are very effective – I’ve always worked out, but this is the first time I’ve ever felt toned. Yay!

This is still a great place, but I felt the need to update my rating based on changes since my initial experience. I had been looking for a yoga studio in my area for awhile and DanceFIT Studio seemed to fit that bill. There are plenty of studios in surrounding towns, but only a couple in Natick which aren’t all that close or convenient to my section on the Wayland line. The reason have to adjust my rating is because they dropped the yoga classes. I went to a couple of the balletFit classes and while they were ok, I really started going there for the yoga. If Ballet/barre is your thing, then I feel that you’ll absolutely love this place. They offer various balletFit classes every day, and have lots of kids classes which would be fun if you have children. However, if you’re looking for a more relaxed class, they have one or two, but they all involve some barre and tend to be a bit more difficult, in my opinion, compared to yoga. They also had more variety in the beginning with Zumba, arms & legs classes, but it has definitely forfeited the variety for all ballet/barre classes. They do seem to have 1 pilates class a week, but that’s the only class not related to barre. I understand those classes may not have had much interest and they needed to change accordingly, I definitely get that. Like I said, I feel this is still a great studio and I would still recommend it to anyone who like Barre classes or have children who want to take ballet/barre kids classes.

I love dancefit! It is a fun way to get fit. My favorite class so far is the HOT balletfit. At first I was hesitant to take a hot class since I wasn’t a fan of hot yoga but the class was so fun I didn’t even notice it was 90 degrees! I also really enjoy the barre and tone class I definitely feel it in my booty and thighs the next few days. All of the classes are constantly switching things up like the music and moves which keeps me engaged. Also, I love the feel of the studio. I have taken barre classes at other studios and I never felt the sense of community I do at dancefit. The prices are awesome about 10 dollars less expensive then barre classes in newton and Brookline! Thanks for opening a great studio Gina!

Just did my first Ballet Barre + Tone class. I’m still sore, but felt great afterwards. The instructor, Kari, was great. She put me at ease about trying it for the first time and was encouraging and helpful throughout the class. I plan on making the class with Kari a weekly event. It’s a little expensive, although I’ve never done Ballet Barre classes before so I don’t know what to compare it to. I did get a great deal on Groupon. I would highly recommend this studio and class to people of all ages(my class had a great age range).
