Just signed up for another year. Great trainers, wonderful people to train with. I’ve never felt better. This system really works!

I would give this location 10 stars if I could. This is under new management since the end of last year. I have been a member for over a year and the personal attention i receive from Debra, the owner, and the trainers is fantastic. They really care about your success. Personal nutrition sessions on a weekly basis or more if you need it. I don’t know if Cynthia R is a member at this location. I have never seen her. Yes it is more money than the gyms and fitness clubs but you get what you pay for. Before joining i didn’t exercise consistently for years and being in my 50’s i was at risk for health issues. I was overweight and pre-diabetic when I started. I am no longer pre-diabetic, have built muscle and have endurance to jog and work around the house. I exercise 4 – 5 times/week. Speak to Debra about your goals. You won’t be disappointed. She used to be a member, lost 70lbs and decided to buy the place! That tells you her commitment.

There are good things to say about Get in Shape for Women and some not so good things. I was a member for over a year. The concept of personal training in a small group is brilliant, the price a little steep, if it was not for the nutritionist guidance it would not be worthwhile financially. I really needed someone to make me accountable, with the first owner he would call you if you did not show up. It changed ownership three times and the personal trainers have come and gone even more quickly, that is probably the biggest downfall. The studio set up is small but efficient. I only wish they had one shower. It is nice to be able to work with other women to want to get in shape, but for the price and the limited hours it is a little high.
