Why are associates always so angry at this store? I can’t even spend a few hundred dollars at this store without being harassed. I just do all my shopping for J Crew online now, and return them to this store, where they also give me the hardest time, but hey as long as they know they’re terrible at customer service!(But they think they’re the Gods of customer service.)

Do not go here in search of men’s suiting; there is not actually men’s suiting.

Does J. Crew pay their people beans? This is the 2nd store I’ve been to recently with really bad service… I was looking in the sales section with a couple of other customers and this sales lady cuts in front of everyone and proceeds to straighten the clothes on the rack as if none of us were standing there. I could almost hear her cursing us under her breath. Oh, I’m sorry, we were just trying to see if we could find something to buy but I guess this must not be that kind of store. Next time, I’m going straight to Nordstrom where I could have an enjoyable experience spending my hard earned money.

J Crew — Natick Store staff is very attentive in terms of greeting you and helping you find things. I guess the challenge is always for people like bigger guys who at times find the stuff at J Crew a little bit tight. Customer service is not lacking.

Ever since Middle School, I subscribed to the theory that J Crew had a targeted audience that excluded everything I believed in. On a fruitless shopping trip to the«Natick Collection»(formerly known as the trashy Natick Mall), my mother suggested we give it a try. Reluctantly I obliged. As I walked through the store, I realized that while J Crew satisfies prep school kids and those who summer on Nantucket, there were also styles that appealed to me. I even found a couple of sweaters and a really trendy green velour jacket that no one would guess were displayed adjacent to tables of popped color polos. By the time we made it to the checkout counter, my mother was giving me a told-you-so smirk: it doesn’t matter where you buy your clothes, it’s how they look on you.

It would seem as though all J. Crew stores are created equal, but not so. I’ve never been offered a bottle of water before while waiting on line to make my purchase! I don’t know if this is a new practice, but I’m down with that. But seeing that it was a weeknight and the line was 10 people deep and the only had one person working the register, I’ll be AFRAID to go near this place closer the holidays. The checkout situation has disaster written all over it.
