Wingstop

This place gets one star, cause there is nothing less. I had the worst wing experience ever. To start off, there were very few customers and my order took 20 min to be ready. They sold me a soda drink knowing their soda machine was down, when I notified them the soda machine was down it took them 15 minutes to fix it and didn’t even offer and exchange for something else or money back, once they got it to work, I got one normal Coke and for the next refill their soda machine was down again. I sent my daughter to ask for extra sauce and the lady at the register told her to wait, instead of getting the side she answered the phone, took another order, then she helped another customer who walked in after my daughter, and then another customer. Meanwhile my daughter is still standing at the register and she is still helping others. I guess either giving us the side was not important or she’s just rude to young customers. So frustrated I get up, I let her know the soda machine has again, broke down. The guy Martin who might be the manager walks out to fix it, again instead of offering a refund or a different drink, by this time my daughter is still waiting, I let them know my food is getting cold, my side never came and even my drink is still on hold. Martin being the great manager says «you got one good drink» in an angry manner. So I guess since I paid $ 2.29 plus tax for a refillable drink, I should be more than happy that I got at least one fill. Bravo Martin, you’re a great manager .
I wonder, where did the times go, when the philosophy that customers are always right, when did restaurants teach their employees to fight with the customer?
Someone please give Martin a raise lol (I’m being sarcastic)
And let’s no forget the not so friendly unhelpful cashier.
Guys you have a long way to go to deserve 5 stars.
Next time I’d rather take my business to another wing place. The wings are good but this place needs a lot of help, the place is a bit dirty, maybe cause their trash cans are hidden? I couldn’t find them. The service timing needs to improve and for sure you need to work on respecting and valuing customers. I’m not the only one with similar complains, check out other reviews, they have similar issues!

I visited Wing stop about a month ago around 9:30pm on a Wednesday night. I went in decided to treat my family so I got 3 meals, we sat at a table which was not very clean but I never make a huge deal just clean it up myself with a napkin. Now here’s the problem.
— Cashier wait til I’m rung up to tell me soda machine is out of service then offers me water but I just purchased drinks with my meals
— I wait 1 hr and 15 for my food then when I went to the front counter to confront the worker she said «Yeah so I just got back from break I think the guys got your order wrong or some tenders are missing» I then told her that I have worked in customer service aswell before and when things like this happen LACK OF COMMUNICATION with a customer and then LACK OF KNOWLEDGE on what to do after the customer is upset is not good customer service. She then looked at me like I was confusing her then I stood there and said «So what are you going to do to fix this? I’ve been here for over an hour.» She tells me she’s going to refund me asks me for my card and THEN doesn’t give me a receipt she said it takes about 5 days. I went on 12/​23/​2015 it’s now 1÷20÷2016 and have not received shit!
HOLD it gets even better, so then I call the store after about two weeks (I gave them even more time) lucky me *so I thought* I was able to speak to their District Manager named Roger. He then says «Sorry about it! We have you in the system for a refund I will take your number down call you back worse comes to it we’ll send you a check!» That was around the beginning of January I spoke to him yesterday 1÷19÷2016 he promised to call back so we can get the refund going and never called back.
LONG STORY SHORT THEY ARE HORRIBLE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE! Love wing stop but this place is shit, I’ve never been so jerked around in my fucking life. I guess they need $ 36 more then I do though

Don’t ask what the difference in size between their regular fries and large fries cause shawty gets mad and gives you regular fries portion in a large fry plate lol

It was dirty.
My order of 10 wings to go took forever to be made. There was no special requests for it either, just half parm garlic and half lemon pepper. The families who came in after me got served before I did as well. My food was packaged all messy, fries had no seasoning.
Won’t be returning to this location.

This really a 2.5. I Generally love wing stop. The wings are fresh and fries tastey. On this occasion I stopped for lunch. Not too busy, but a healthy number of people. The wings tasted good as did the fries. The service was quicker than I expected. My issue was that I ode red the bone in with 8 wings. There was not one drumette in the order. The fries were also a little skimpy.

Do you enjoy placing an order only to have it completely wrong? This is the place for you. Three separate occasions, same result. I don’t understand how you can have a touchscreen computer, take down an order, and somehow get it wrong. Where’s the disconnect?

I love the mango habanero wings but God every time we order something happens to our freaking order ! If they don’t give us the wrong wings, the dinner rolls are freaking hard or we get our fries without seasoning! We never had this problem at the otay ranch location.

Bad to descent service and the food could use some improvement. I’ve been to a lot of wing places and this one definitely ranks towards the bottom. I’ll probably give this place another chance but if it’s as bad as this time… never again.

I like wingstops wings. I’m surprised with all the bad reviews. The wait time I would think is because they cook the wings fresh to order. If I’m ordering to go I always just call ahead. I come to wingstop whenever I want bone in wings. They’re always fresh and delicious. I love the Louisiana rub and garlic parmesan. They’re lemon pepper and bbq are good as well but I usually go with the first two flavors. (Even if they create burps that make people scold me for the smell)

This place is not the greatest. Always had issues with our orders even though we ordered ahead of time for pick up. Our food was cold or the fries werent fully cooked or they would forget something. Customer service wasnt that great either it seemed like the cashier would always have an attitude.

2^nd time something goes wrong with an order I placed. 1^st time I placed an order online & when I went to pick it up the order wasn’t even ready! Whoever was supposed to be looking @ online orders wasn’t doing so. Today I placed an order on the phone for pick up & when I went to pick it up I was charged for the WRONG order! Waiting an additional 20−30min to get a refund for over charge while the employees figured out how to refund since there wasn’t any manager on site!

This place is raaaaaaaaaaaaaatchet. We placed our order at 7:40, it’s now 8:15 and we’re still waiting! The lady cashiering is cursing because she closed the register without giving someone their change. They are slooooooower than a baby turtle with a broken leg. I am beyond irritated right now. We didn’t order an entire chicken we got 10 pieces and two fries. They have one person cooking the food who barely speaks English and he’s messing up the orders. The other helper can’t even get the cheese out of the machine! Never ever ever will I come back. & im calling the corporate office smh.

Normally good is a comforting thing. This olace manages (or should i sai is managed) to make people wait and stress out. Third time ordering online to aleviate the wait. Third time i am wrong. With enough people in the back of thr house someone should be able to drop an order or for aome bizarre reason update the wait times on these items. As i am approaching 30 minutes my guess is that they didnt cook anything thinking no one else in the place would order chicken wings. Guess ill just wait again and start taking my business up the street to wings and things.

Very good wings but it took almost 30 min to get my wings even people to got in after me got theirs first.

I love wing stop. I used to go to the one in Lemon Grove then sadly moved to national city and so disappointed this wing stop is disgusting. Lacks poor management and customer service it is so dirty, The coke machine is just yuck. The wings look skinny and the fries are always under cooked. The windows the tables the store is just filthy. I have given several chances even emailed corporate about this wing stop. So disappointing to have to drive all the way to lemon grove to get my wings…

Ugh whyyy? I love this place I really do. But tonight just wasn’t their night.
It took 30 mins to get our food & when we got our food. Our fries were burnt only to send them back ask for a new batch and getting what looked like the same batch back was so disappointing. Friday night workers shame on you! Never again. I’ll stick to my regular mon-​tues nights. Like I normally do.

Very friendly staff. Good costumer service!!! Fries can be soggy when you order to go though… Overall yummy if you eat there then take home.

I’ve read the previous reviews and I am shocked! This is one of my favorite places to eat and I always come out bloated with satisfaction! I’m not sure what some of these people ordered but I usually order the 10 piece bone-​in combo with fries and a side of ranch. I usually like the Hickory Smoked BBQ, Garlic Parm, or the Lemon Pepper flavors. As for the fries, I absolutely love them! Well seasoned with a sweet and salty flavor.
I would give this establishment 5 stars but in comparison to other wing places the atmosphere is less enticing.

My new fav spot ! Well It’s clean. The only thing I dislike they don’t have a trash can where you can put your tray away. & there always out of cherry soda lol. But other then that there wings are always good. I usually get boneless lemon pepper & my husband bbq. Give it a chance you might like it or hate it (:

5 stars all around !! I drive from a different city just for the atmosphere here! Wing, beer & hip hop & the game playing … great hidden gem. Don’t listen to these other reviews .go in for and see how great this place is!
Props to each and every worker there for making this place feel like a second home !!
